i use 2 USB adapters and i get microstutters in online games with both, offline games work fine (as long as they are optimized of course). would i fix the microstutters if i got a PCIE adapter? i have no way of getting a cable to test if it's the adapter unfortunately. i'm loosing my mind over this because i bought this PC like 3 months ago and i have this problem since... the first adapter (a newer one which i bought with my PC) is Netis WF2190 and the second one is TP-LINK TL WN722N super old and it's latest driver is only for W8.1 and is from 2013 has anyone ever had this problem before? or does anyone know what else could it be? ANY help GREATLY appreciated.

Hello, As the title states, I've spent months searching and trying different things/"solutions" and so far nothing worked, I'm getting 150+ FPS in single player and under 100fps in online (60 or less in full public lobbies with 25 players or more) with low GPU and CPU usage (40% max, usually in the 30%'s). Settings: Non-Steam/Social club version of GTA bought from Rockstar store directly 1920x1080 No AA and No FXAA No advanced graphic settings All settings set to normal and/or off, All sliders set to the lowest setting (aka lowest possible graphics settings from inside the game) Hardware: Asus Maximus VI Hero (Z87) with the latest bios 4770k@4.5ghz (Yes, It's stable and max temps are 75c) 16gb (2x8) 1600mhz DDR3 (Yes, They're installed in the correct slots for dual channel with XMP profile set in the bios) GTX 1080 (Installed correctly in the first 16x slot with the latest drivers and stable OC, max temps are 75c) Corsair RM850 (Yes, All the cables connected and seated correctly to the correct ports) Samsung 840Pro SSD which hosts my Windows and GTA Asus VG248QE 144hz 24" 1080p monitor connected via DVI to my GTX 1080 Windows 10 Pro 64bit currently and Windows 8.1 Pro 64bit previously FAQ answers: -Yes, I've cleared cache for both the game and windows and deleted the GTA folder inside the Documents folder. -Yes, I've verified the game files and reinstalled it on the old Windows 8.1 and on a clean Windows 10. -Yes, I'm using the latest drivers for all of my hardware. -Yes, I've tried DDU and older Nvidia drivers. -Yes, I've checked the background processes in case they're eating resources and none of them do other than GTA. -Yes, I've checked the OC settings, Temps, Fans, Fan curves, Bios settings, you name it. -Yes, I'm using high performance power plan. -Yes, I've set it to the power option to max performance in the Nvidia control panel. -Yes, I've set the pre-render frames to 1. -Yes, I've set the Physx to GTX 1080. -Yes, I've tried Windows 10 game mode ON and OFF -Yes, I've tried with Fullscreen, Windowed, Windowed borderless, No FPS difference. -Yes, I've tried V-Sync ON and OFF, No FPS difference in Online but with it Off the game menus lag. -Yes, I've checked my SSD performance and it's fine. -Yes, I've tried disabling hyper threading and it lowered my FPS. -Yes, I've tried all the possible Windows 10 compatibility settings and DPI settings and it only made it worse. -Yes, I've tried DX10, 10.1, 11. DX10 gives extra FPS but nothing major. -Yes, I'm getting fantastic performance/high FPS in other games (old and new) without any issues. -Yes, I need more than 120fps because with 144hz monitor 60-80 FPS is not a pleasant experience, Specially if you add the FPS drops and general lag of full GTA lobbies. -No, I will NOT upgrade my CPU and/or my GPU, I'm having performance problems with GTA and ONLY GTA. -No, I'm not the only one having this problem with GTA specifically, There's plenty of posts from people with better hardware and having the same issues and I've gone through most of those posts which is why I decided to add this FAQ answer section to save my time and yours and to also eliminate irrelevant questions/answers. -And finally, I saved the best for last: Yes, I've tried 800x600 all settings are low and/or off and I shit you not, Couldn't get 90fps in full lobbies. Questions: -What the actual fuck? -Are you getting high FPS (120+) in full lobbies? How? What hardware and OS are you using? -Any actual/non-turn it ON/OFF tier solution to this issue?

I am looking for a place to buy 10" rackmount gear for my 8u 10" rack cabinet (data cabinet), but everywhere i've looked (netgear, amazon.co.uk, cpc) none seem to have a network switch or server chassis. Can anyone recommend a place to find 10" gear?

Was interested in the game when it came out but never really got the chance to try it out. Now that its free as well i feel like giving it a shot, however I have seen a number of posts online stating there's hackers and the devs are doing nothing to stop it. What do u think about the game?

For those of you unaware Nintendo launched their paid online service about a week ago with a tiered pricing model ranging from $3.99 for a single month to $20 a year. Starting now to play any online titles like Splatoon you have to have a paid subscription. While the pricing is very good I do think there are numerous problems with the service. It seems to me that Nintendo has many good ideas like cloud saves and NES game streaming but bad implementation. For one with the cloud saves it only works with certain titles kind of eliminating the point of it. Nintendo said that it doesn't work for Splatoon because they want to eliminate the possibility of cheating or players reverting to previous ranking etc even though said games are the most important to back up user data. What makes the problem worse is that if ever at any time you stop paying for the subscription service your cloud backup saves are wiped. There is also the voice chat issue. While I like where they are going with with the smartphone app as it allows to connect to your account and view information about online games the voice chat through it is kinda clunky. I can see their idea with it being a mobile system and all but something as simple as voice chat should just be built in even if its something simple like the 3.5mm earbud and mic on the PS4 controller hell even the system itself has a headphone jack. I do hope that Nintendo does fix some of the glaring flaws with their online service I have no problem paying for it but with this many flaws I can't really bring myself to support it at the moment.

I cannot get the online gaming portion to work on my Nintendo Switch. I can get on the eshop just fine & internet / wifi works on every single other device in the house, so it's not a bad router or something. When I test my network connection the NAT is scored 'D' which apparently means it will be difficult to connect for online gaming. (Read: pretty much impossible) My spouse works on the security side of IT and my assumption is that our network has been secured to the point that the switch times out when trying to connect. I've found the troubleshooting page on Nintendo's site, but there are several disclaimers on the page that basically say it's up to the user to determine their own security needs. So here's my question - are the settings Nintendo recommends inherently insecure in some way, and if so, is there a way to secure it that my switch will still accept?

Hello. The explanation to the problem im having is hard to describe, but ill try. When im in a offline gamemode such as training or practise range the game feels perfectly fine and smooth like it should. However when i enter a online game it starts to feel alot less responsive and accurate with aiming (it might affect the movement input aswell but im not sure). My fps remain the same almost consinstantly while differing between online and offline (200fps) it might drop to max 190fps. My specs are: RTX 2060 6GB I7 8700 16gb ballistic 3200mhz ddr4 cl16 ram (recently bought) Asus prime z390a (recently bougtht) The problem is incredibly odd. Ive checked my entire network equipment and replaced everything with new equipment. Ive run several DDUs without any luck. However it gets even weirder when it differs between games. Between overwatch and valorant it feels incredibly sluggish like i explained above but on example warzone it feels quite decent, not nearly as bad as the other games. And even so the problem has just been different all the time. There used to be a gamemode in Overwatch where you were playing in a 12 person ffa arena, inside that gamemode (which obviously was online) it felt amazing but as soon as i entered a quickplay, comp or even a 3v3 it just felt shitty again. It never feels like a stable input. However if i enter the same gamemode now it sometimes can feel good but sometimes it doesnt. Im going crazy about this... Im incredibly annoyed at this problem hence why im desperate to find a person helping me find the solution. Ive been trying to fix this problem for a year now. (The pc has been like this since the beginning hence why i bought new specs to eliminate solutions). Ive checked taskmanager several times while playing but there isnt any massive problem there. I also close down everything except for discord, the game im playing and a few softwares such as steam and razer synapse.

Giving away 1 free code for certain shop. I bought a smartphone recently and then a memory card for it. The 1st order gave me 10 EUR coupon code, that could be used without limits and so I did. Now after the 2nd one I got an e-mail with a new coupon code, but this one can only be used on orders of at least 50 EUR worth. I don't plan to buy another phone right now, and there isn't a ton of other products, but if someone finds a thing they want I will PM the code for 3.88 EUR discount. It's valid for 6 months, but I got the e-mail on 24th of April.

The age of the Internet is at its peak. Many people are doing business online and share their personal moments. But that is a double-edged sword. The more you share — the more you are open to the public and some people could be not that friendly with their intentions. I want to give some security and privacy tips for you all. Didn't know where to post this so I'm posting in Off-Topic. Don’t click links that look weird. Captain Obvious here, but don’t be stupid. Links like www.totallylegitsite456.com/yourvideo.avi should be avoided and ignored at all costs. Especially if you get that link/tag from a person you barely talk to. Don’t be in a YOLO mode and get an Antivirus. Surfing the ‘net without one is basically asking for trouble. Get something premium like Eset NOD32 or Bitdefender, I wouldn’t mess with the free ones. If it is a free car ride then you are the fuel. Use a premium VPN service. Sadly, the free ones are not to be trusted. And so is your ISP I’m afraid. Get something like PIA or NordVPN with military-grade security and browse the Internet securely and privately. I even snooped around the Internet and found this coupon code (USENORD60) which for $60 gets you a 1 year worth of VPN. Expose yourself less in the social media. Even if you take all the needed precautions to be safe online, but you are posting that you are on the holiday for everyone to see? Doesn’t seem really secure, does it? Even more, I suggest not using social media or Google products at all, because they all track you. Everyone tracks you. I recommend installing HTTPS Everywhere extension which makes all the pages in https protocol (where it is possible of course), Privacy Badger for controlling what tracks you and what no, uBlock for blocking unnecessary stuff and maybe even using Tails — one of the most private and secure OS ever. Also, use Duck Duck go for searching and Protonmail for secure and encrypted mail. So here are some tips from me. If you have something to add please comment.

nintendo switch Nintendo Switch Online Service costs money
Wilhelm_Andre posted a topic in Tech News
Nintendo switch's Online service will cost money from September 2018. https://www.geek.com/games/nintendo-switch-now-has-a-virtual-console-sort-of-1691743/ https://www.nintendo.com/switch/online-service/ So i have had the Nintendo switch for 6 months now and i love to play splatoon but if they gonna start asking for money from me to play online and use the crappy app i think that many players will stop playing. I will not pay to play online even tho its not that expensive it still adds up to what i paid for the game. If i pay 39$ for a game and need to pay 19,99$ for 12 moths of online service (Prices gotten form nintendo's website) that will be 58,99$ for the game with online feature. The payment gives me Access to: The app, The online service and 20 NES games. Why couldn't only the nes games be paid service and not take away online part from me. Let me hear what you think of this. I don't like it at all but maybe some of you got some more information on it. From (Norwegian dyslexic person) -
I have a Minecraft server for me and my sister. it works when my sister'computer is connected to our network, but now she lives with my brother and cannot connect. I have forwarded port 25565 to my computer, but some reading on the internet hints that my unmanaged network switch between my computer and the router is making things complicated. The switch exists so that both my computer and dads old desktop (now connected to the living room tv) can be wired at the same time. Without getting two long ethernet cables. it is possible to wire it without the switch, however. Is this the only method I have for getting it to work. or is there a way for me to get the server to work without buying a 100 ft ethernet cable for my computer.

Not sure how many of you need to draw network diagrams, i don't have any dedicated software to do it. As someone that works in networking but not in a technical aspect i found this site quite useful and intuitive. https://www.draw.io/

Not sure how many on here are fans of NIN, but in an effort to fight the scourge of ticket bots and scalping online sales, Trent Reznor has announced that for the Fall 2018 'Cold and Black and Infinite' tour that there will be no online ticket sales. Tickets are supposed to be sold on the day of the event at a 'first come, first served' basis starting at 8 AM with a sale limit of four tickets per a customer. Given the popularity of NIN and Trent Reznor, I think that this has the potential to be successful for his case, but maybe not so much for other artists. Should be interesting to see if limiting sales to an offline only prevents ticket scalping as badly as online ticket bots allow for... https://www.engadget.com/2018/05/10/nine-inch-nails-fall-tour-no-online-sales/ Before and on the day your tickets go on sale (check the source link for more details) the tickets won't be sold online. Everything will be first come, first served -- hopefully handled by a lottery system -- and you won't be allowed to line up before 8AM the day of in most cases. "You may actually encounter other actual human beings with similar interests likely wearing black clothing during the process and potentially interact with them. The experience has the potential* to be enjoyable," Reznor writes. "Nine Inch Nails has always been about bringing people together, living life to the fullest and good times.**" Remaining tickets will be sold at a later date, potentially online. Reznor's idea is solid way to beat online bots and scalpers (cue the bitching), but it's little more than an inconvenience. As it stands, there's nothing stopping scalpers from standing in line to buy tickets and immediately listing them on StubHub for exorbitant prices. Chances are, you won't even recognize the slimeballs for what they are while you're outside the box office. ... * Not guaranteed ** Not entirely true My main problem with this is that I would love to travel to see one of his concerts, however, I'm not spending money on a plane ticket for a chance to get a ticket to a concert... Off Topic a bit, have to admit my favorite album from NIN is probably 'The Fragile'.

Is there a way/service that can help me to buy goods from Russia and export them to Europe? Is there a Russian eBay? And do they allow foreign customers? I am not after questionable merchandise, only mainstream music CDs, Russian movies, and things like that.... Thnx

So my friend was playing GTA Online, he loved that game and was playing almost every day and yesterday he went to shop literary on other side of the road for like 15 min, he left his online game running in "invite only session" i was also there and he got kicked from the lobbie after like 10 min for AFK. Then 5 minutes later he came back and tried to load back in to the lobbie and got a message saying that his account got suspended for "cheating/modding" for 1 month. He never hacked and he lost his 280 level character that he was earning for 1.500 hours. So if you own Grand Theft Auto V and u have a Online character that u care about i personally think it will better for u to stay offline for month or more, i know how hard it is to get high level so i dont want any one else losing that for no reason!
