Im not sure that i am on the right forum here. I havent ever posted any questions or issues on here. But I would like a little help from the community if possible cause i cant figure this out. So I was using an ryzen cpu and i upgraded to an intel 12700k with a msi z690-a motherboard. I have a 2080ti and have worked out most the kinks sense the change. Bios needed to be updated cause for some reason it was getting caught in a boot loop. Now the final issue im having is my computer is freezing. And the only information i can get from the error reports is. Problem signature Problem Event Name: LiveKernelEvent Code: 144 Parameter 1: 3003 Parameter 2: ffffec01737d05f0 Parameter 3: 40010000 Parameter 4: 0 OS version: 10_0_19044 Service Pack: 0_0 Product: 768_1 OS Version: 10.0.19044.2.0.0.768.101 Locale ID: 1033 It seems to be a driver or video card issue from everything i can find online. And i guess my question here is. Do i need to have both nvidia drivers as well as intel onboard graphics drivers installed for stable operation? Please help me out cause i havent slept in 2 days trying to figure this stuff out..

some time ago i had an issue with rtx broadcast. While troubelshooting with nvidia support they sent me a programm called: CleanupTool. It removes all files, drivers and programms asociated with nivida. To my understanding its the same as ddu but from nvidia themself. Since you cant get to the download site without the right link and i didnt find anybody talking about it online here my question: Has anybody else heard of it? Should i upload it somewhere since nvidia probably doesnt want everybody to have it since it is not on their normal page?

Id like to say first that i have never experienced a bsod on this pc before. I believe the problem arose after a certain point in the campaign (after the initial heist if that matters) for Cyberpunk 2077. The game about 6 hours in, began to crash way too often like every couple minutes and for some reason the crashes are bsods (blue screen of death) instead of normal crashes, and now my computer is having similar failures on its own as well. To begin with my pc specs are as follows- WINDOWS 10 64BIT, RTX 3070 FE, RYZEN 7 3700X, 2X8 CORSAIR VENGANCE 3200, SAMSUNG 970 EVO PLUS 1TB, CORSAIR 650 WATT PSU. And i do have the xmp enabled for 3200 MHz but no other overclocking. i have had my pc for about 8 months. So with that out of the way let me explain some of what i have done in the 8 or so hours I've put into fixing this issue. First off i have uninstalled my gpu drivers using ddu in safe mode and then reinstalled the newest drivers multiple times, run a full virus scan and malware scan and nothing showed, uninstalled cyberpunk 2077 and reinstalled it several times as well as uninstalled gog galaxy and it did nothing, and last and probably least restarted my pc a plethora of times. So far the issue has gotten better but resolved and is still a problem worth fixing And sorry if there isn't enough info but if you need to know something just ask. But any help would be greatly appreciated! here is my mini dump from windbgMy minidump.rtf And my event viewer report of a crashMy eventviewer report.rtf

Hi Guys! I have been running into some issues with my gaming rig. While playing New World i'm getting around 30-40FPS in towns and 60-70FPS in less populated areas medium settings at 1440P. Ive attached all my specs below from a UserBenchmark test. I know New World is a brand new game but other people with the same specs as myself are getting much higher performance. Its also not only New World Ive noticed i get far less performance in other games than people with the same specs such as Warzone, Cold War, Halo Infinite beta, Gears 5 etc. I also ran 2 tests on userbenchmark one without G sync and one with G sync and the difference in performance is incredible. I'm getting to the point of wanting to wipe my entire PC and start from scratch. Does anyone have any ideas on why my system is not performing to its potential? Hi, I have a problem, that is hard to explain, but here it goes. I have a work computer with ryzen 7-3700x and quadro p2200 gpu. since work from home i am using my monitor (4K) and one from work (1080p) for dual monitor setup (i need that a lot). I have noticed that CAD programs on my 4k display are performing quite bad even accounted for extra performance needed for 4k resolution image (the gpu memory gets full very fast). So sometimes I disconnect the 4k monitor to work just on 1080p if I need to do something bigger, and reconnect it when only working on documents. I have talked with CAD reseller and technical support and they said that the version I am using requires more gpu power than the older versions. But I noticed something odd today when I had a YouTube video playing and had the 4k monitor disconnected, all was fine. I had a task to write up some documents so enabled my 4k monitor for more convenient work and YouTube video started playing very weird. Turned on stats for nerd and i was loosing frames like crazy. 25% frames was lost in any resolution. No CAD application was running, computer was just turned on. Video was on second 1080p monitor. disconnected 4k monitor (with software, it is still pugged in gpu) and the video is fine, no lost frames in any resolution. GPU drivers are up to date. When using dual monitors doesn't matter on which display the video is showing.

I have recently made my CAD workstation and have been having so many issues the machine is now unusable. Every time i update my display drivers or try to install my GPU (GTX 1050) drivers my pc always shuts down and upon reboot the screen has a strange glitch when trying to load windows. The machine works fine but as soon as graphics drivers are being installed it crashes immediately. See attached images of the issue with the screen glitching. I have been looking to buy a Quadro to finally finish the system build but I am obviously holding back on that in light of the issues am having. Please see attached images for info about the machine

system specs: CPU: Ryzen 7 5800x RAM: Trident z neo 16gb ddr4 3600mhz GPU: 1080 ti founders edition PSU: corsair rm850x Motherboard: Asus ROG strix b450-f I am having trouble updating the drivers of my 1080 ti. every time I attempt to update to the latest version my pc slows to a crawl (I got about a frame every few seconds on my desktop just moving my mouse around and no matter how long I wait it does not fix itself) and have to revert the changes in windows safe mode to roll back the driver version to 456.71 and it will work completely fine again. This happens regardless of if I do a clean install or even use DDU to uninstall drivers first. I have even completely wiped everything on my pc and freshly installed windows. If I swap in my old 1050 ti the driver update will work perfectly fine, but when swapping the 1080 ti back as soon as the drivers kick in it will slow back to a crawl. This happens with all drivers past 456.71 now. I'm afraid my GPU may be dying in some way, but I'm out of ideas on what to try to get any new versions of drivers. I have been ignoring this problem for the most part for the last year or so until today when I now get visual artifacts in Elden ring and I assume its because I'm on stuck such an old driver version. What else can I do? swapping the 1080 ti into a completely different computer yields these same results.

Hi, I've never watercooled a machine before, but I need to build myself one (or ask somebody??). Just checking for options. Any advice or would be appreciated. Cheers! GPU / CPU plans NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 x2 AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3970X 32-Core 3.7 GHz Budget: 10 000+ CAD (only the main parts, no monitors, mouse etc) Country: Canada, Vancouver BC Will be used for: rendering and simulation in Houdini OS: Linux Look: I don't really care how it's gonna look, just should be quiet Planning ordering stuff from newegg or amazon ...? I read this thread, but the OP didn't really build it eventually. I feel comfortable assembling it myself, but I need some help with the parts I need, please Thank you!

Hello LTT community! I posted this question on reddits r/PCMASTERRACE but to no avail. So I figured I would give you guys a shot. A while back ago I was doing some furmark testing and noticed that my 2080 super was thermal throttling at 73 C. I found this sus, as I know it should be higher, but at the time I didn't care because the GPU was in the open and remained fairly lower than that while running most things. However, since then I got a case! Even though I have sufficient air flow through the case, I seem to be hitting the 73C mark now in other apps, so I am forced to care now. I looked in the X1 app for answers as there is a setting to control the thermal throttle limit, however, its set at 88C. I have confirmed that X1 has this setting "applied" too. Still it throttles at 73c. I have made sure everything is updated, did a bit of googling, but unless I missed something, none of these cases seem to apply. Mainly because most are posts focus on being concerned that it's getting that hot or hotter. Anyone have ideas what could be causing this?

So I am looking to build a new productivity pc. I have stopped gaming. I mean I still dabble with a free online game but nothing that requires a heavy duty gpu. I need lightning fast video response, proper color gamut, able to play 4k and 8k(if i have the screen for it) video smoothly. Part of me is saying that any middle of the road gpu will do that, but I wanted to check with the forums first. I guess i should also add that i run (3) 4k 32 in. monitors so will that make a difference? Thanks

Hi, I own a Dell Precision T3600 tower prebuilt (specs listed below). Although it is over 8 years old, it still works like a charm and has been my daily driver for the past 2 years. But recently, I am starting to see a few problems with it's graphics card (NVIDIA Quadro 2000 1GB). Low-power games like Minecraft, Among Us and Factorio run fine with the default settings, but high-power games like BeamNG.Drive, Asetto Corsa and Cities Skylines are only playable with the lowest settings, and even that pins the GPU usage at 100%. Recently, the computer shuts off under high loads like high-power games, video editing, CAD or machine learning. I believe this is because of the GPU overheating because the monitors blank out first, and then the lights on the keyboard turn off after a second or two. Is this really because of the GPU? Is there anything I can do with the GPU to fix this temporarily (I just need it to work for school and programming. I can put off on gaming for now)? I also want to buy a new GPU (after the prices go down). I want an RTX 3060, but which one would be the best for the specs I have without causing bottlenecks (My budget is $400 Canadian [after the prices go down]). Computer Specs: CPU: Intel Xeon E5-1620 8 cores, 3.6 GHz RAM: 16GB DDR3 (4 x 4GB) GPU: NVIDIA Quadro 2000 1GB Motherboard: Dell OEM Motherboard PSU: Dell 635 Watt PSU Storage: 256GB SSD + 1TB HDD Thanks in advance, Amol

Hi guys, I had to do some basic modding to my GPU 3060 Ti Aorus Gigabyte card. The original fans are not working one started failing as the card has triple fans. I then saw my temps was bad so I decided to take on the challenge, as there's no water blocks or official custom coolers. ATM I zip-tied normal corsair case fans to the heatsink. Atm my temps are avg 24-36° idle while gaming hits 57-68° but need to run a test where I play over 4-5 hours see if temps go up. I did run a test in FurMark max temps was 69° but I only did for 5min. I need to run a more intensive testing to ensure I'm not killing my card as so far I only did basic test runs I spent a lot and only had for very small amount of time. Anyone here know what advance software I can run in background, mainly for temps so I have log files, that I can save after me playing a game as normal. If someone who's experienced can check them out as well when I put them up, that be super helpful as I'm just your average guy who just mods.

Hi Community I recently bought a HP Pavilion Gaming 15-dk1011n for my little brother, he does video editing and was using my laptop, so got him that as a gift. I am having trouble getting Windows to detect the Nvidia GPU(1660 TI MAX Q), I have seen numerous threads online with a similar issue and tried all solutions, ranging from installing new windows to updating the bios, currently have the latest bios from HP installed, but still windows can't detect that a Nvidia GPU exist. I need help in alternative solutions, tried even installing Linux, but it also can not detect the Nvidia GPU only Intel HD is detected. On the bios there is no option to switch to configurable/switchable graphics or show existence of a Nvidia GPU. But when we got the laptop the Device Manger on windows showed the GPU and it was hidden, tried re-installing the graphics, then it disappeared for good on device manger. Any help will be appreciated.

Hey guys, I am having an issue with my set up where having 2 monitors connected to my GPU is causing it to crash to grey or black screens. This tends to happen after the system only being on for a short time. However when I only use my main display the system runs fine. I am able to play games and use the pc as normal with no crashes at all. GPU temps are normal when gaming and the card is at stock clocks so I don't believe it's a temperature issue. I have the latest bios and drivers. I have tried doing a clean driver install using ddu to clear the old ones. Further I have tried a new dvi cable for the second monitor and using the hdmi port on the card instead. However the crashing still persists. The monitor works fine with my poxy work laptop so I don't think the problem lies there. I have looked at loads of forum posts detailing similar issues on older cards but can't find a solution that works for me. I'm at a bit of a loss with it, but I'm probably missing something really obvious. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated, thanks

Can a so called company that actually claims to have a partnership with Nvidia sale Nvidia's products at a higher value? Were I live the only way of getting a 3080 or any 30 series graphics card is true Best Buy but spoiler there’s only two Best Buy in the Island and they told me they never got a shipment for any of the new graphics card not even at lunch date. So now I found myself looking true the internet and found this place that claim to have them, with evidence and they also claim to have a partnership with Nvidia. But when I ask for pricing of the 3080 ti they said that the price is 1,000.00 US dollars an I was wondering if that’s legal? I’m from Puerto Rico if anybody can answer my question I’ll be thankful.

So as a late Christmas gift because nothing was in stock my dad is going to get me a 3070 or 3060ti, depends which one is in stock first. I just want to know how much bottleneck.

Hello! This is my first topic post ever so I apologize if I'm making any mistakes beforehand. My specs: ASUS ROG STRIX B450-F GAMING motherboard (BIOS 4007 x64) AMD Ryzen 5 3600 3.6GHz Socket AM4 CPU ASUS GeForce RTX 2060 6GB DUAL OC MINI VGA 16GB 3200MHz DDR4 RAM G.Skill Aegis CL16 RAM FSP 650W PTM Modular PSU Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML240L Universal CPU Cooler Windows 10 64 bit ________________________________________________________ My problem is that in Escape From Tarkov I'm struggling to get 60 fps on low graphics all the while the GPU usage is around 50%. It doesn't matter what I do with the settings, it always struggles around 60 fps. I don't know if this is a different problem or connected, but in Cyberpunk 2077 the GPU usage is still low, but my CPU usage goes up a lot, and again, it doesn't matter what settings I use (I tried it on full HD and high settings). In Battlefront II everything looks good, my gpu works around 80-90% with decent fps count. I have updated every driver that I possibly could, bios, chipset. Set performance mode in the Nvidia control panel, in the bios (although I could only find that in the 'EZ mode settings'), and also in windows 10. Another interesting problem is that I can't install the LAN driver to my motherboard, it just doesn't start after I click on the install executible. This caused problems with the speed of my internet (download speed, ingame ping and lag), so I use a networking card instead that I plugged into a mini PCI port. Does someone have an idea what might be causing bad performance in CP2077 and in Tarkov?

Hey guys. I'm currently running on a RX480 which is kinda becoming out of date. I was thinking of going for the new gen of graphics cards but seeing many reviews and knowing i play on 1080p I'm not really sure if it would be smart to get an RTX 3070 or RX 6800 since my R1600X would probably bottleneck the GPU. I'm not in a place where I can upgrade both CPU and GPU, and since I know I would get a bigger boost from GPU I wanna go for that. So do you have any suggestion on which GPU I should go for? Thanks in advance

Leaves plenty of room for a 3060 non-Ti @ 2070 Super performance for $300-ish price point. There seems to be some instances though of AIB cards being slightly overpriced than expected, but we will have to see if that actually pans out (often inflated prices are shown frequently before launch from retailers). Sadly, however, the Ethereum performance being good may prove to make the card quite unavailable (and unobtainable), also considering another circulating story regarding NV Ampere sales to crypto miners. Lastly, the AoTS scores make the 3060 Ti look seriously promising (Geekbench too), but we'll have to see some independent benchmarks/results from reviewers before we start saying it performs like or near an RTX 2080 Ti. Launch is supposedly occurring Wed, December 2nd, so in three days we'll hopefully have all the deets.

So I upgraded mi pc back in September, everything but the gpu (1060 6gb). I was expecting to buy a new gpu, but for obvious I couldn't. I bought a new monitor (1440p 144hz) but the 1060 isn't good enough. I am hearing there won't be good availability of ampere and rdna2 until q1 2021. In my country this is uncertain, could even be more time. So would it be reasonable to buy a rdna or Turing gpu, in the meantime?

About a day ago I was playing games with some friends and noticed terrible frame rates and lag. I usually leave NZXT Cam running on my second monitor. When I checked it I noticed no load being put on my GPU when running any games. I’ve tried updating drivers and reinstalling but that did nothing. Checked Windows 10 for updates and nothing. As a last effort before posting I tried cutting all power and disconnecting my GPU for a minute then restarting still nothing. Any ideas what’s going on? Budget (including currency): Around 1000$ Country: Canada Ontario (13% Tax) Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Gaming Pc for brother Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Hello, I'm planning on upgrading my brothers PC for him for a budget around 1000$ roughly could be a bit more or less... Only thing that's getting transferred to the new setup are HDD, SSD, and my Gigabyte 1080 since I'm getting a 3080/3080TI/3090 soon and peripherals, 5 Corsair SP fans. But Im just curios on seeing different ideas then what I have in mind and what would be a good setup something that'll last a while and doesn't need to be upgraded in the next couple of years... If anyone has any input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you
