Just made the switch from Intel to amd due to a broken motherboard. Initial build was i7 5820k on x99 sabertooth by asus. now ryzen7 2700x on asus prime pro. When I booted my fresh install of windows I quickly felt that aiming on the desktop felt overly smooth and wonky. I made sure ENHANCED POINTER PRECISION was OFF and installed logitech drivers for my Gpro wireless... this didnt help. Two days later and about 400 different drivers and tweaks still nothing. I have considered the possibility that its placebo because I was out of gaming for a week while the parts shipped, but I have almost 4000 hrs in csgo and have been training my aim for years and have never gotten this after a week off before. easy shots are still completely impossible to hit consistently and Ive done 2 days of hard deathmatching. PLEASE someone have an answer to this fyi I have tried other mice same issue including zowie plug and play

Hi, After at least 4 years using the Mionix Avior 7000, I am on the market for a new mouse. I am a claw grip user and have large hands by pretty much any standard. I recently got the Logitech MX Master 3 but I don't like it's scrolling characteristics (I would assume they have some automated trickery going on in there to switch between the hyper-scrolling and normal scrolling) Additionally, the mouse's high arc at the back is uncomfortable for my grip style and hand size. Requirements: - budget: 100-110 euros - wireless - good battery life - accurate sensor - works on most surfaces, mostly used on mouse pad So far I managed to find the Logitech G702 Hero, is this a good one? Any other recommendations?

My tecknet gm299 mouse comes with an aim button that presumably lowers the dpi, but in the driver settings, there is no way to lower it completely. I can take steps down but I can't go straight to the lowest dpi and go back to the one I was using. Can anyone help create a jank dpi switch? I have some ideas but I don't have the technical abilities to do them 1) set up a macro to switch the dpi to low and back. My razer driver (synapse 3) does macros and the mouse driver claims to (though I've never tried) but neither recording recognizes the extra mouse buttons for switching dpi, otherwise I would have it click 4 times down and then 4 times up every time the button is pushed. 2) run a command that manually switches the dpi to a fixed number, then switches back upon release. I have poked around but I can't find a command to do this through windows and I couldn't find it in the driver files 3) finding a generic gaming driver that does have these features and are compatible. Are there any open-source drivers like this for windows? Seems like it is an outside use case so it makes sense why nobody has taken the time. Any other thoughts would be most welcome!

I recently got a new mouse Corsair Harponless RGB Wireless, and before I have always used a wired mouse. It used to run Apex Legends & Rainbow six Siege decently, but after I got the new mouse, I cant get a stable connection in either game, which both of them lagging ALOT. My CPU is I3-6100 3.70ghz, and my GPU is Nvidia Geforce 1050 TI. I know that mouse has a polling of 1000, which can cause the problems, but is there an another fix, or anything else I could to not have them lag like that?

*STRICTLY FOR WORK* My boss wanted me to research wireless mice for her. Everywhere I have looked says the Logitech MX Master 2s is a great mouse, however there are (like always) loads of Bluetooth connectivity issues, random disconnection and patchy response. Is there any chance that this problem is user error? Maybe they are trying to use it at too far of a distance, or they don't have drivers properly updated or installed? Love to hear some feedback! Thanks

Hi I just picked up a Microsoft pro Intellimouse for about 350rmb, or about 51usd. This is my first review so please bear with me :^). First a little bit of history... The Microsoft Intellimouse series was introduced in mid-1996 and the most well known and famous variant is perhaps the IntelliMouse Explorer 3.0 which was revered among gamers for its good shape and decent performance, this mouse is the mouse which the Microsoft Classic Pro IntelliMouse is based on. The IntelliMouse 3.0 shape was brought back in 2018 with the Intellimouse Classic, but it came with a Microsoft blue trac sensor which although was great for tracking on different surfaces was not so great for gaming, around this time there was a "Pro" version which included a 16k DPI Pixart 3389 sensor that was only released on the Chinese market with rgb and almost double the price tag. Recently the mouse was brought to the US market and will be available for 59usd. Specs: Sensor: 100-16K DPI PixArt PAW 3389 Colours: White to Silver Gradient or Grey to Darker Grey Gradient. Finish: (Somewhat slippery) Rubber sides, semi-matte plastic Switches: Left & Right: Omron D2FC-F-7N 20M (white stem) Middle: Kailh White Microswitch Side buttons: Light Grey/White Kailh Microswitch Wheel: Some sort of mechanical encoder, TTC Black? Cable: 2M Long Black, Braided (Not very flexible, and prone to fraying) RGB: Rear RGB Underglow Software: Microsoft Mouse and Keyboard Centre Weight: Around 105G Shape: Right Handed, Large, Palm/Hybrid Grip Packaging Nothing too special to see here, the mouse comes in a paper box with a few pieces of paperwork. The cable is somewhat folded which can cause the cable to develop bends and creases at certain areas, Logitech's way of wrapping the cable around the box is a much superior solution in my opinion. Build Quality: The mouse is built very well, and the finish is very nice, there is a minimal rattle. The mouse feels like its worth a lot more than its 50-60usd price tag. However, there are some areas where there could need improvement. Firstly the cable, the cable is branded and is not very flexible and is also prone to fraying after long periods of use, a mouse bungee can somewhat resolve this issue. Second, the mouse feet are pretty bad, they're a bit scratchy and sometimes catches on my mousepad (Right now I'm using the Artisan FX HAYATE OTSU). 8.5/10 Switches: The switches are fine, Omron D2FC switches are a bit too light for my taste, and I much prefer the more rounded and softer feeling of the Omron D2F-01F switches or the Heavy clicks of Huano switches. The middle button is quite easy to press in compared to other mice, and the scroll wheel feels decent but not great. My only issues are with the side buttons which have a weird shape to them especially the back button, which makes them a bit hard to press in and often requires your thumb back to press the back button, it would be nice if they extruded the back button a bit. I also wish there was a physical dpi switch, somewhere on the mouse. 8/10 Sensor & Tracking: The PAW 3389 is a sensor originally developed for Razer by PixArt but recently more and more mice manufacture have been using it (Namely Dream Machine, HyperX and now Microsoft). It has adjustable DPI from 100 to 16 000 in increments of 50, Polling rate is 125, 500 or 1000hz. Tracking is excellent as you would expect, does not spin out, no sensor rattle, and no noticeable acceleration or deceleration. Tracking on this mouse is flawless. 10/10 Size and Shape: It is a large, right-handed mouse with a shape that somewhat resembles that of an EC1B with the right side of the mouse resembling that of the Steel Series Rival 310. here it is compared to my GPW: YMMV, for me its a bit on the large size, but still quite comfortable, but again my hands are super tiny. Software: This mouse uses Microsoft mouse and keyboard centre, in which you can adjust the DPI, Polling rate, angle snapping, Rgb, etc. The software is quite intuitive and clean, my only issue with it is there not being an option to type in your dpi, the slider is quite difficult and slow to use. 9/10 Design: It all comes down to personal preference but I think the mouse looks pretty dang good, I really like the silver gradient colour and the simple design of the mouse. The RGB is not overdone and accents the mouse pretty well. 10/10 Conclusion: For 59USD this mouse is a very good buy, it has excellent tracking and build quality. If you're looking for a large right-handed gaming mouse for under this is a very good option, as long as you don't mind the weight. Pros: Great Value Great Sensor Great Build Quality Decent Switches Intuitive Software Cons: Bad Cable Bad Mouse Feet Weak RGB game (if you care about it)

I've been looking for a new mech board and mouse, and I've come across this: The Rosewill NEON lineup. They are a mechanical board and gaming mice that seem too good too be true. The mice boast RGB, a PMW 3325 sensor which is decent, 6 or 8 buttons for anyone who needs them, software, and for $21.99 AUD! It's the same kinda story with the boards, Kahlil browns or blues, full RGB, again software, wrist rest, 3-way cable slot, and again for $69 AUD! Seems too good to be true, but then again Rosewill is a reputable brand, or so I've heard. If anyone has an opinion or has used them before, lemme know in the comments! (And thanks in advance ofc)

Hi, before I start I am registered sight impared which will help you understand my needs later :) I have a couple razer's using synapse program which is OK-Ish for my main PC however sometimes I work away with my laptop and nobody like a touchpad. I have set my DPI buttons to map as "WinKey + +" and "WinKey + -" so I can zoom in and out I set 2 of the macro buttons as Copy and paste and 1 as toggle High Contrast. Problem 1 - When I am working on the laptop and have no internet reception the synapse program wont let me use the macro keys or DPI to zoom in / out Problem 2 - for no reason, on my main PC synapse sometimes signs itself out, so I cannot zoom in using the DPi keys to enter my details Problem 3 - Sometimes friends ask me to fix their stuff, I want to be able to plug in my own mouse and just have all my macros setup so as a visually impaired user I can just get to work removing their adware lol basically, I want a Hardware programable mouse or good quality I don't want to have to use software on every PC I use to use additional keys I need minimum of 3 programable keys (not including DPI) DPI keys need to be reprogrammable and I would prefer it to be wireless but charge from a micro / USB-C so I can use it on main PC and just unplug it and throw it in my laptop bag when I go away/ please can you guys sugest some devices for me matching this criteria, I have searched and searched but keep getting conflicting specs and im really getting frusteared with the synapse signing out Thanks in advance

My current one broke down so I'll need something new. This is the most comfortable mouse I've ever had. I'd buy it again but here in my area it's not really available or really overpriced 60€+. Looking to spend about 40€ on something decent, any suggestions?

Edit: I ended up going with the DM Comfy 2, frankly because it was the least expensive and seemed equivalent to the other viable options. I've been using it for a week and am quite pleased. Although it is considerably smaller in width than the Func, I've been able to quickly get used to it. The only real flaw from my perspective is that the L/R click sound is on the noisy side. Edit (07/17/2020): The scroll wheel on my DM Comfy 2 stopped working after 13 months (12 month warranty, go figure) so I picked up a 3Dconnexion CadMouse on sale for $79. After having the CadMouse for a couple days, I returned it. The software didn't work properly on my Win 10 machine which renders the mouse useless. I picked up a Q-Pad 5k for $20 on Amazon, so far so good. Edit 2 (02/18/2021): The left click on my Q-Pad 5K started double clicking after less than 7 months. Maybe I just have bad luck with mice. I wish there were more mice with finger rests. RIP Func. Hey all, I realize that this has been asked about in the past, but with new options arriving on the market every day, I'd like a 2019 reassessment. I'm looking for a palm grip mouse to replace my Func MS-3 because it has began acting up. My hand is 20cm from wrist to tip of middle finger, and I really like having the ring and pinky finger rest. I'm aware of options such as the DM Comfy 2 and the Naos 7000 which have a similar style, but unfortunately are considerably smaller than the Func. I've attached an image from a Google image search for reference. Thanks in advance for your response, and I'm happy to answer any questions if need be.

Hello, I have owned a Razer Ourobors for well about 5 years now and the mouse continues to work and look great! However, a couple of days ago, issues arose in which the middle button (scroll click) would not register clicks unless I applied enough force upon the first click. That's right, only the first click required more force than should probably be necessary to, what I guess is, pressure down the middle button back into place. After giving the middle button a good strong click the first time around, the middle button works fine for as long as I continue clicking it consistently enough, otherwise the same problem occurs. I would very much appreciate feedback, as I would hate to say goodbye to such a reliable mouse! Unfortunately, Razer has discontinued its kind. As a result, buying a brand new Razer Ouroboros is out of question. P.S.: The middle click button does not feel ot appear to be off or flimsy in any way.

Soo apparently Logitech is doing a rerelease on the ol' legendary MX518 feb 19. i spottet it on the danish version of Komplett: https://www.komplett.dk/product/1119859/gaming/gamingmus-keyboard/mus/logitech-g-mx518-gaming-mus# there is also an accompanying youtube video What are you expecting from this? i havent really seen anyone talking of this, i would think it was big news since this thing was the bees knees. i had mine for 9-10 years before i upgraded to a g402 hyperion. i am seriously thinking about getting the rerelease!

I have a Corsair scimat pro rgb and when the polling rate is set to 1000hz i have huge lag spikes , eg on osu! i would go from the capped fps limit of 240fps down to as low as 10 fps if i moved my mouse, tho if i change the polling rate to 125hz everything works fine. Its the same with every game ive played. Ive tried rolling back mouse and nvidia drivers but nothing has helped, the only way i managed to fix it was to uninstall my mouse drivers from device manager and replug my mouse but after reboot the problem came back again.

I just bought a "gaming" PC last evening and the keyboard and mouse leave a lot to be desired as I thought would be the case. I started out gaming on PC's and went to consoles and now I was in need for a good workstation for my business at home so I thought I would get one I could also game on. What I want now though is a good keyboard and mouse that has great tactile feedback as that is what I also most like to type on. I have seen some videos on the channel, but would like some good feedback from those who have bought some items to let me know what you think I should get. Thank you, Steven

Hello. I'm writing this here because I've found quite little information about Mad Catz as a company, all I knew is they filed for bankruptcy some time ago, but are somehow back in business under new management. The question I'm here to ask is : Is getting a Mad Catz RAT mouse (whichever one) worth it with competitors like Razer, Steelseries and others? I've had a mouse from Mad Catz (RAT 7) since like 2012, and it still works without any issues. Yeah, a few dings and scratches here and there but it's holding up like a champ. I also love the modularity of these mice, since you can add weight to it, swap out the palm rest, etc. Does anybody have a new mouse from Mad Catz? And if so, are they any good?
