Hope this is the right place for this. Anyways my gf has the following problem with her PC: when streaming league of legends with OBS her fps start to drop down after a while and constantly creep further down until it turns into a 1fps slideshow. closing OBS later doesnt help, only a PC restart. This does not happen when OBS wasnt used to stream and she has no fps problems whatsoever in other games. Her PC doesnt have trouble handling streaming, as her cpu usage is 50% at most while streaming league and gpu and ram are also not much used. Specs: i7 8700k, gtx 1060 6gb, both obs and lol are on the same ssd, 16gb ram, windows 10 pro Please help Edit: OBS log link: https://gist.github.com/88ba693aa042859a17c4dfca7e565b63 Edit2: using x264, but same problem with nvenc

Hi, as in the topic, I'm looking for League players on EUNE sever willing to try playing recently announced Clash with me (I'm plat 2 in soloq). Not sure if there are any people from eune region (apart from me) on this forum, but I figured I might as well try. As it stands I'm alone, so I need 4 more players. I'm looking for people at all ranks, as long as you can keep your cool in the game. Post here or hit me on PM if you're interested.

Waddup ltt forum, pc specs: 6600k rx580 8gb ram ssd (games are on the ssd) z170 series asus mobo I recently got a 144hz monitor on which i play low end games (leagueoflegends and osu). In these games i have the problem that i dont consistently hit 144fps. Ive tried multiple different settings like uncapping the fps vsync off and on, borderless and fullscreen. Then i pulled up msi afterburner and can see my gpu clockspeed hovering at speeds it would be on at idle, the moment the game just loaded it clocks from idle (at 300mhz) to about 600mhz (which gives me a good 200fps at uncapped settings), this is with the max core clock at 1366 mhz for my rx580. The card performs great in more demanding titles like the witcher. Does anyone know a way to make league demand more gpu horses so I hit 144fps constantly. An obvious workaround would be to set the idle speed of my gpu core to ~500mhz, the problem is, i don't know how to do this and don't know how bad this would be for energy consumption. Thanks ps, the card is not thermal throttleing, temperatures hover around 39 °C (102 °F), which also is the temperature I hit on idle at my desktop.

So i want to build a new Computer. i don't have a budget but less is always better, it really doesn't need to be that powerful. most of the games i play are games like; League of legends, destiny, and a lot of older FPS games.(1080p monitor) But my favorite games are the Total war series. In the past when i play total war i get about 60 fps on a 1080p monitor but when i get into large battle late game, my fps drops to around 11 fps. i don't know if i should just buy a new cpu, motherboard, and ram? or just get a all new Computer. I really just want to play my games and get at least 60fps, i heard that total war is cpu intensive, so i don't know if just getting a new cpu would fix the problem. One other thing i do have two monitors, but i only use one for gaming. Any help would be appreciated Right now i have a older i5( what ever was new 4 years ago) and a Gtx 1060 3gb, and 8 GB of ddr 3 ram.

Hello, A couple of days ago I've started witnessing large fps drops while playing League. It's literally the only game I play and I haven't had any issues with it for quite a while. I don't know if it's the latest patch or not, but I haven't seen anyone complaining about it regarding the patch. My fps used to fluctuate between 120ish to 80ish fps and I was completely fine with it, even had the settings on very high and high. After sudden fps drop Im hovering around 35-40 fps sometimes going to 50ish but even dropping bellow 20 for a second. I've updated my drivers, cleaned my registry and junk files, even played around with nvidia control panel to get the most performance out of it, but nothing seems to be helping. I can't accept the fact that my pc cant run at least 60 fps on the lowest video settings for LoL even tho my cpu is really old. My rig: Win7 Ultimate 64bit AMD Athlon II X2 255 ASUSTeK Computer INC. M4A79XTD EVO (AM3) 2x4GB Transcend DDR3, one at 1333mhz and the other at 1600mhz Nvidia GTX 950 Gygabite Extreme I've checked the temperatures and cpu doesnt seem to be going above 56c, gpu hovers at 59c. Temps at idle are here in the pic I included. If anyone has any opinions to offer, would be much appreciated!

I've been wanting a way to click on an image of a champion and it would bring me to another picture or link of that characters rune page. I have only 5 rune pages so this would be helpful for quickly changing my runes when I need to change characters. I did an example of what I want on google spread sheets, clicking on the image pops up a box of the link.

Hey there everyone I was wondering if I could get some help to hopefully resolve my issue with my current problem. So I usually play games like league of legends or csgo, and when I play them (more predominately league) I like to open a video if the game is loading or while im playing the game in league I like to open youtube music videos or sometimes spotify, usually when I don't have videos or music playing my ping in league of legends will be 59-65ms shown in game, but when I play these videos or use spotify the ping will spike to 255ms or sometimes 600+ and it will stay like that until I close the tab thats playing the music or close spotify. I never had this issue with my previous computer I used which was an I5, msi motherboard(don't remember the specific model), r9 390, 16gb ddr3 ram, 2TB HDD. I also have the problem when I have a twitch stream open when I am casually playing a normal game as well. Right now I currently have: Processor- Intel Core I7-6850k Motherboard: X99A GAMING PRO CARBON Memory (RAM): 24 Gb DDR4 Graphics Card: Asus - GTX 1080 Case: Be Quiet! Silent Base 800 PSU - Corsair 750w Modular Platinum Certified I initially thought it might be the drivers so I updated that for this current board and no change, the issue still persisted. Then I thought it was the actual network card on the board, So I bought a tp-link pcie NIC and it actually seemed worse on that. Then I went to my modem which is a motorola SBG6580 and I also have a linksys router (don't know the name but I can get it later if needed) but I'm hardwired to the motorola modem so I don't think the linksys modem has anything to do with it. So I replaced the motorola modem with a netgear modem thinking the motorola modem was at the end of its life and nothing changed no speed increases and I still had the same issues, ended up returning the modem. Then I went to investigate the devices on our network total around 10 not including gaming consoles 2 of them being desktop computers which are connected to the motorola, 1 microsoft surface connected to the linksys, a amazon fire tv connected to linksys which I ended up changing a setting to set it to save data and that improved my ping when I was having issues in general without loading music videos or spotify and 4 smartphones, and 2 tablets. I am aware there are ethernet adapter properties for the current network card on the motherboard, I have not messed with them but maybe one of those settings could be my problem? Please someone help me identify my problem or at least help me find the problem because I have been having these issues for about 6 months now. Thank you.

Hi. i was hoping someone can help me with this issue. Over the last 2-3 years ive been having a problem with league of legends and latency. ive had the same isp ever since and everyone locally with the isp who plays league of legends has the same problem. The isp name is Columbus Communications (Flow) Located in Trinidad. The problem is that everytime i connect to the north american server i get 1 of 3 different latencies. its either 98, 110 or 150. Each one is constant throughout the whole game depending on which i get. I have messaged both the ISP and Riot Games and neither have been any help on resolving this. Recently ive started using a program called "Haste". This is a paid for program but i cant afford to keep buying a subscription, Using this program the ping drops to 102 but i still feel some of the lag, as thought its just an illusion. I dont feel any lag if im lucky enough to get the 98 without the program. This hassle has went on years now and i need help please IF anyone can Thank You! The league of legends NA IP IS: 104.160.131.3

So this is probably a long shot, but here it goes! I've been playing LoL since beta and despite the community and just general toxicity surrounding the game, I still really enjoy it. But recently I decided to try and make more of a serious effort in Ranked. I've been doing OK in solo queue, but random teammates every game makes for inconsistent quality and enjoyment of matches. So I'm hoping to band together with 4 (or more) other semi-casual players who want to see how high they can get by seasons end and beyond. I'm a married man and father of one, who also works full time, so I'm not looking to commit to any crazy amount of hours per week, but a few games during the week and more on a weekend is not unreasonable. If you're interested, great! I may post in more LoL focused forums/groups etc. but they are generally just full of trolls and critics. I'm fairly immune to both when in game and would expect any potential team mates to be as well. I'm just looking for a fun team but yes, with a focus on getting better and improving our rank. Cheers!

Hey guys, never built a gaming pc before but I think I'm going to go for it... Goal: The goal of this machine is to build a machine for around the cost of a console that allows me to play games like Overwatch, League of Legends, Cities Skylines, and Starcraft (1+2). It will be used ONLY for gaming; it will not be used as a "daily driver". What I have: I already have a 1080p LG monitor and keyboard/mouse that I am comfortable using for gaming (I currently play LoL using them and all is well). I am not interested in crazy overclocking or anything, I just want something that can play the games mentioned above at a reasonable quality and frame rate. Theoretical Build: PC Part Picker link APU: AMD A10-7890K (Wraith Cooler included) Memory: Corsair Vengeance Pro 2x8GB, DDR3-2133 Storage: Samsung 750, 120 GB (Not hugely concerned about storage here as this machine is strictly for gaming) GPU: XFX Radeon R7 250 2GB (optional, would run Dual Graphics either straight away or as an upgrade later) Case: Xion XON-350 Power Supply: Thermaltake TR2 700W 80+ Gold (Bundled with case for a deal, also would allow for power overhead in the future for upgrades/future builds) Total Cost: $471.82 - (I am aware Windows is not quoted here; I have a spare copy already)

Hi there guys! If any of you are looking for people to play Overwatch with, then look no further! I am part of an expanding PC gaming community and we would love new members to join. We don't only play overwatch, we have many players who enjoy LoL, WoW, Smite, GTAV, L4D2, Rocket League, Counterstrike, etc. We have a discord voice chat server and there are usually people to chat to in there from around the world. So if you fancy joining us, have a look at our Overwatch community page: www.facebook.com/groups/overwatchlegion Or have a look at our website: http://www.hardtimeslegion.com/ All of the details needed to join the discord server are on both of those sites. Thanks guys! I look forward to seeing some of you there!

Hi, I have an EVGA 970 clocked at 1165MHz (looking in MSI afterburner, the clockspeed never changes, even though I was told boostclock was a thing) and when I'm playing league (I know it's overkill) as the game progresses, the fps of my game decreases, this is expected I'm sure. However with a 970, should it be dipping below 60fps after 4 games? The temperature is below 70oC at all times and I'm just curious if this type of performance from a 970 is normal, I know I have an AMD 8350 CPU @4.5GHz, but for gaming, I thought an amazing CPU wasn't needed (That being the better Intel CPU's). Please, could you just give me an indication as to whether this is normal and if there are any bottlenecks I'm overlooking in my build?

So I recently bought an Mx Master from Logitech, and I've run into an issue. Although I feel like it could be fixed, I just don't quite know how it would work. What I want to do is macro the gesture button to complete pings in league of legends for me, that way I have fewer keystrokes needed in order to initiate these pings. they way i want it to work is make it so that the gesture buttons 4 directions for its gestures are each considered their own key or something similar, so that league of legends recognized each as their own key stroke. Currently I have to press control and left click then drag but I would like to just press the gesture button and drag in the proper direction in order to ping as well as use the neutral press as control. I've tried using the advanced click feature but that didn't work as well as the modifier key function which was better but not what I would like, seeing that I would still have to use 2 key strokes (the gesture button and left click which required a very strange grip to accomplish) instead of one press one and dragging the mouse. If anyone could help that would be much appreciated. Thanks!

hi there, i was just wondering, is it possible to build a complete system (without monitor) which can smoothly run CS:GO and League of legends around mid settings? looking for a fair amount of fps in 768x1366 or maybe 1080p i know this sounds hilarious but i am pretty much sure that its possible. anyone got any ideas? POST UPDATE: here is the challenge- >it needs to be stable and run on idle for 30 days without any bsod >end of this time my total power consumption needs to be less then others >and it needs to run CS:GO and League of legends. Things which DOSE NOT matter- case, PSU, storage. TIA -------

Hi everyone, I'm building a "Casual Gaming PC" for my girlfriend, she plays some games like "LoL" "GW2" "Wakfu" and others games like TERA or MMORPG. I purchased a GeForge GTX 960, and I'm looking for a good Monitor. I think a 144hz 27" it's not really necessary, I mean... something like 1080p would be good, and 23" it's good enough. Can you help me choosing a good LCD monitor or recomend a good brand. thx a lot.

Hello! So at our house we have three computers. One is mine and other two are for everybody. We have internet download speed at about 1 MB/s, upload at about 7 kB/s and PING is usually 45 ms. I am a gamer and I play a lot of League of Legends. So fast internet speed is crucial for the game. But a lot of times, while I play other users watch videos on YouTube. So that makes my PING fly high. Is there a way or any program with which I could redirect more internet (broadband?) speed to my computer so that my PING would be normal? I am thankful for all Your answers!

A few months ago I was forced into installing windows 10 after a major crash on my pc. Which since its completion I had windows 7 ultimate running on it. Now after addressing the major flaw that the os itself required that my machine have more ram at it's disposal(thank god for amazon deals). Now I have a newer issue, lately while playing League of Legends or (since these crashes happen so conveneiently during ranked matches for me) or waiting for my low prioty queue to tick away. My pc will either freeze or just auto shut off without any warning. So far by all that I've looked into it may be the psu has degraded that it has an influx that causes it to do this. However, I can play more demanding games like CS:GO, World of Warcraft, etc and nothing it runs perfectly fine no issues what so ever. Before I have to pay 120 dollars USD, can someone give me any advice or insight as to why this may be happening. Any and all(non-trollie) help is welcome and appreciated.

Ok, so I'm trying to make a batch file that opens both my League of Legends and my SkinSpotlights Replay system. I can get it to open my replay system which is located in my documents. I cannot, however, get it to open my LeagueofLegends.exe which is located in D:\Riot Games\. Here's what I've got so far: @echo off cd "C:\Users\Allen\Documents" start SSReplays.exe cd "C:\Users\Allen\Desktop" start "League.exe" exit Like i said, the replay system opens, but for the LoL client, only my CMD shows up. LoL is in a different drive and I don't have the knowledge for this yet. Thanks for all of your help!
