So Ive always been an air cooling person however I think I am going to need water cooling at this point. I am running a 3930k overclocked on a nh-d14 and its just heating up my room and it self like no tomorrow Around 40-47c idle and 65-75c under load, ive tired changing thermal compound, switching to better fans, ect, in a room that gets to an average 80f-83f. Getting to my question(s). Would a liquid cooler like one of the new h100i gtx or h110i gt make a huge difference on my computer in those kind of ambient temps or would I be worse off running it in those temps? I understand that its not going to cool my room off as it still makes heat and that is not my issue, I can deal with that. If it makes any difference, this system is on 24/7 with an averageload of 5-10% load at idle and 15-25% under my normal work load as I do work from home for a server host. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Want to buy an aio 240mm to go in my 300r build but I've heard mixed things about what will fit! Just want to find out what people have managed to fit in the 300r, I almost purchased a H100 but some say it fits and others say not Thanks in advance

Hey guys/girls the other day when i opened my rig for a good clean, i discovered cracking around the connection covers the H100i is only about a year old, is this a concern? The Pipes arent cracked just the covers that go over where the radiator joins the pipe, it looks like they just to make it look nicer. I hope. Anyways let me know what you think this is running on a i7 920 @ 4Ghz 24/7 with no variable power its been setup like that because when i allow the board to auto adjust the power it falls over and hangs constantly, I think its down to it running on a Foxconn Flaming Blade GTI.. Temps on the chip are never below 60deg centigrade. and the Radiator is at about 38 - 50 deg centigrade Many Thanks Warren Panayides

Hello, is there anyway (including modding) to fit a h100 in a Sharkoon VS-4 Case or on the top of it or even the side panel?

So I got my h100i a month or so ago and have since installed some Noctua NA-SRC7 low noise adapters to the fans. The noise was significantly reduced but now one of the fans makes almost like a rubbing/clicking sound almost all the way until max rpm. Its not terribly loud, but it kind of annoys me. I am definately not an expert on fans but have decent general pc knowledge, so don't get too concerned. I am looking for some high static pressure fans because my 4690k is overclocked to 4.7ghz. They must be quiet and good at undervolting if necessary. Edit: Also, preferably black. Any reccomendations? Hello LinusTechTipians, I'm planning a new build in a Bitfenix Prodigy and I was considering using 2 AIO coolers (a Kraken x41 for the CPU and an Corsair h105 with a nzxt g10) to cool my CPU and GPU, Now what I'm wondering is if I can mount the Kraken x41 in the rear while having a Corsair h105 or at least a h100i mounted in the top, both coolers would only be run in pull. So what do you guys think, will it fit? Hello everyone! I've read the "H100 Compatibility Thread" and some people say that HAF 912 is compatible other say that it isn't. I own HAF 912 and by the look of it, it seems that it can only fit the radiator inside the case and the fans outside. But will it be efficient if I configure it that way ? I was thinking of unplugging the tubes from the rad , so I install the fans inside and the rad outside, and then plug them back, but I am not sure if that's possible (and if it is it will end the warranty most likely). I hope you can share your ideas on how to deal with the installation.

Hello! Trying to overclock my FX8350 to 4.7/5GHz somewhere inbetween, Currently I'm at 1.425 Volts at 4.7GHz, its always been at 1.425 volts with the performance booster in the bios but only at 4.2 GHz so no problems, didnt even go near 1.425 Volts I would assume. I tried going up, testing, etc checking tempatures but when I was at 4.7Ghz and I stress tested with prime95 it went up to 84 (After the test it jumped up to 96 somehow according to HWMonitor, Averaging at around 35 normally so that shocked me too. later saying 192C... Im so confused right now lol) Degree C Max, was at a decent 68 for the majority of the test but than just jolted to 84 so I stopped the test ASAP of course. Im thinking that maybe my h100 is seated incorrectly orrrr I dont know. I'm running it with a Corsair h100 with 4 Corsair SP120 fans with GA-99FXA-UD7 Revision 1.1 MoBo, I somehow doubt the temperatures afterwards were correct but it did jump up to 84 I can garantee from the temps of the air coming out of the PC.I grabbed a picture before restarting but noticed that the max temps went up to 94 followed by 192, clearly the 192 was incorrect, I would assume the 94 as well ebcause it was running perfectly at the time. I know this question has probably been beaten to death already, but what would be the best AIO cooler for about 100 bucks? My case accepts double 120mm/140mm or triple 120mm/140mm. Looking to cool my i7 4770k so I can overclock to about 4.5-4.6Ghz. Mainly looking for the coolest temperature. I was looking at the Swiftech H220 because I heard it has the best performance, but does anyone else have a different recommendation?

just got the h100 and found out its to big by 1/4 of an inch with out the fans connected to it. is there a mod bracket that i can use in order to make it work? i have the arc 647 gaming case.

Hello all! I installed my H100 to my CPU today, powered on, ran great. I had some issues with RAM, so I changed my RAM, started up my computer, and while it was booting, I noticed one of the fans had come out, so I simply slid it back in. This caused the pump to shut off right away, and I haven't been able to get it to come back... The lights are all off too... The Fans connected to the CPU block still spin, and my temperatures are stable (34C) Help!

Hi Guys, I am fed up with my crappy power supply. It has many problems, many of which I will not go in to, with many of the issues being related to cable management. Can you recommend the cheapest reliable power supply that is modular, will fully power the parts listed below, has long cables (as my current power supply's cable are not long enough to rout behind the motherboard to the top 8 pin connector), and not burn down my house. As of now, I have a 660ti, but I plan to add another fairly soon. i-7 3770k H100i Intel DZ77BH-55k 16 GB 1600 MHz Vengeance RAM 660ti Disk Drive 1TB Seagate Hard Drive One Intel SSD Fan Controller and a total of 6 120mm fans (2 of which have led's), and 1 140mm fan All Needs to fit in a CM Storm Trooper Full Tower I think that is all you need to know, but I am not sure if I am forgetting something, so just tell me if I am. Thank You In Advance

I just got two Noctua NF F-12 PWM fans and i have a Corsiar 650D case with an H100 in the top i was just wondering if I should put the fans in push or pull config and as an intake or a exhaust? I know Linus covered over push and pull before just wasn't 100% sure. http://oi43.tinypic.com/69mdtk.jpg I have a front intake 200mm fan(being replaced with something else) Silverstone Tek 120mm AP123 in the back as an exhaust and the top h100 in pull as an exhaust

So i was planning to get the new Swiftech pre-done water, and i am also planning to get he RV-02 Raven by Silverstone as my case, The only way i can place the cooler is the rad at the bottom of the case, does this matter? I know you should always have the Res above the pump, so i was not sure if this applied to pre-done water coolers/

Hey all, first time posting on the forum so bare with me. Previously had an AMD Phenom X4 cpu at 3.2 ghz, cooled by an H100. Got very good temps, basically ambient at idle. Have now upgraded to a 4770k, but I'm getting atrocious temps on it with the H100 I have it running at stock speeds but when at idle the temperature fluctuates anywhere from 30-50c, and I've hit 100c while under 100% load. BIOS even reports 50c. Corsair Link and OpenHardwareMoniter both show same temp, Link says radiator temps are anywhere from 26c at idle to 37c underload. So something is up with the H100. The fans are working The pump is working Everything is clean Water block is seated properly, just how Linus taught me. I've been looking for a cure for hours now. I've reseated the block 4 or five times, each time producing the same results. Specs: Mobo: gigabyte z87x-d3h cpu: 4770k @ 3.5ghz Cooler: H100 Cooler fans: Corsair SP120 X2 Case fans: Noctua NFS-12B X2, and stock case fans X2 Case: Bitfenix ghost Storage: 3 SSDs and 1 HDD Memory: Corsair venegeance 8gb GPU: AMD 7850 PSU: Antec 620W If anyone has some advice, or solution, or questions I'd love to hear it.

Hey, does anyone know if you could stick an h100 on the side panel of the original Scout case? I already know it fits an h80i and that you can do a mod for the h100 so it sits in the front but I would prefer to go the side panel route if it mounts properly without any modding. (I know It would make it a huge hassle to take the side panel off but I rarely take it off anyway.) FYI I already own/use the scout. Looking to improve on cpu cooling though.

So I have a Thermaltake Level 10 GTS (note, it's the GTS, not the GT) and it seems that the only way that I can fit my H100 in the case is if I use slim fans. I guess my question is, how drastically will slim fans change my temps? Is it worth it to use the slim fans, or should I try either modding my case (somehow) to make it fit properly, or sell it? I'm currently only using a Cooler Master hyper 212 + to cool an AMD 4130 black edition. Any input is appreciated.

Hi guys, Another slight problem with my computer is that the H100 sets all fans to 100% and they stay at 100% when I switch on my computer. But if I switch it on, then immediately back off and back on again, it will start up as it should. Anyone know what's wrong with it and how to fix it? It never used to do this, but it's been doing this for a few weeks/months now and I'm fed up of it. Thanks in advance.

I have a friend who said he can give me his H100 (non-i) for free. However, I have already ordered an NZXT Havik 140. Which cooler is better? I could also cancel the order and get an H100i (more expensive). Any thoughts?
-
Simple question: Is it worth upgrading to an H100i if I already have an H100? My friend will be giving me his H100 for free. I could sell it and get the H100i or I could keep it... I've heard that the fans are crap and the pump is loud. Any suggestions?
-
Will going from push or pull to push pull change my temperatures significantly? Do you think it's worth it?

So currently I'm using stock cooling on my build because I didn't have the cash to buy something decent when I build the computer. Looking to spend around 100 dollars and was wondering what my best option was in that price range. Was looking at the h100, but if there's something better I would like to know. Thanks. Build: Case Fractal Define R4 Processor: i7 4770k Ram: 8Gb Corsair 1333mhz Graphics: GeForce Gtx 550ti Superclocked 2gb edition Power Supply: Corsair Hx 650

Hello, I have a shadow rock 2 CPU cooler. I could OC my FX 8320 to 4.6Ghz at 1.4125V at 60C. I am just about to buy a new Intel i5 4690k or i7 4770k (i5=$210 i7=$288) so I want to get a new cooler. My Mobo is a MSI Z97 gaming 7. Is this H100 cooler a large upgrade? Thanks
