Hey! For the last 2 years or so I've been struggling with some graphical issues occuring in my playthroughs of various video games on my new PC. Jagged edges, pixelated hair, water, sometimes reflections. I tried many fixes that I found on the internet but none of them helped. That includes: - Updating, Downgrading, Reinstalling drivers - Messing with Antialiasing options in the NVidia Control Panel - Using NVidia's overlay to sharpen or desharpen visuals - Messing with In-Game AA Options (I was able to make it look better in some cases, but wouldn't count it as a FIX) - Cleaning the Graphics card, removing it, putting it back again - Checking how it looks on different monitors (1366x768 Samsung, 4K Philips TV) - Changing HDMI to DisplayPort with different cables - more which I don't exactly remember now At first I thought that it was due to my old monitor not working well together with a newer graphics card, so I upgraded and got the 1080p treatment I finally deserved. Got dissapointed though, as the issues still occured. Seems like every game I play has this noisy overlay on top of it that somehow jaggs (if that's a term) the edges of the games, over-sharpens it. They just don't render right. What could be the cause? How do I fix this? If I change my graphics card will the issue still occur? I attached some screenshots & videos. I need help!! Here's a list of some games I had these issues with: - RDR2 - Stray - GTA 4 & V - Marvel's Spider-Man (& Miles Morales) - Mount & Blade II Bannerlord - Final Fantasy XV - No Man's Sky - Dying Light - Shadow Warrior 2&3 - Skyrim - Minecraft - Cyberpunk 2077 - Rainbow Six Siege And here's my machine: AORUS B450 ELITE AMD Ryzen 5 2600 Gigabyte GTX 1660 6GB 32GB RAM G.Skill Aegis DDR4 3000Mhz (4x8GB) Monitor: Acer VG240YS 165Hz

I was reassembling some parts on a new cabinet and came across a different looking GPU 6 pin power input. According to its manual, this GTX 1060 should have the following pin patter: From Left to right and top to bottom: Top Row = D D Square. Bottom row = Square D D. However the atual hardware i have here is as follow: Anomalous Pattern = Top Row = Square, Square, D. Bottom Row = D, D, Square. My power supply follows the correct patter, the first one, the one user manual says it should be. The power supply 6 pin pci connector connects fine with the GPU, despite having a different pattern. The thing is, Im not sure if its just a manufacturing defect or the problem extends to circuitry level. I don't know how this GPU was mounted on the old cabinet, for when i took the job the parts were already disassembled. The previews IT guy moved to another company and i have no way to contact him. I don't know how to troubleshooting this, and im afraid of burn the GPU. I welcome any advice. Thanks in advance for the attention.

HELLO, This is my first post in this forum! And Well, Back to 2019 i bought a GTX 1060 6GB GDDR5X (GTX 1060 GALAX REDBLACK), since she came to me, she sowed a little hight temperatures, arround 87 degrees in her stock fan courves, and I changed it (to a mode agressive one, and change the thermal paste too) after this, she get arround 83 degrees (90/100 degrees in hot spot), but in last months I heard a sound in her fans, and surprisely, one of than it s crashing and making so much noise, I searched in market for a replacement fan and I didint found anything (just a similar fan -Ga82s2h t128215sh galax gtx1060- but is not the same fit), I searched in Aliexpress, Ebay, Facebook... After this im considering to use 2 regular 120mm fans in my Gpu, but I dont know if they will hold her temperatures! Can Anyone Help me with this please?? And About the temperatures, I think that her cooling are too weak... THANKS!

RTX 3060 and RTX 4060 price: 1500 PLN RTX 4060 TI and RTX 3070 price: 2300 PLN So as you can see, the prices of some are the same and the parameters are different. The RTX 4060 is more powerful on a newer architecture but has 8GB of VRAM and 3072 CUDA cores. I heard that now 8GB VRAM is not enough as Davincy Resolve minimum requires 8 VRAM and on minimum requirements it doesn't matter if it's a game or a program it will work so-so. So there's the RTX 3060 which already has 12GB VRAM and 3584 CUDAs. I heard that CUDA and VRAM cores are the most important in video processing. If so, I think it would be a good choice. In the case of RTX 4060 TI and RTX 3070, there are also more CUDA cores, RTX 3070 has better parameters, but the RTX 4060 TI card is better in games. I don't know why it works like that.

I bought a second hand PNY GTX 980ti reference design, the card ran with no issues. I did notice in the early stages of use the reference cooler seemed that it couldn't handle the temperatures at that time i averaged 75°C to 85°C+. I made the decision to purchase the kraken G12 to solve this issue, as it did solve the gpu core temperatures after several weeks of used I encountered another issue random game crashes that eventually lead to my entire pc freezing. I did some research which lead me to suspect it was the memory, I tried using gpuz to get an accurate reading of the temperatures, i did not find any sensors that gives me a read out. I resorted to touching the memory from the backside of the pcb while at idle they felt very hot to touch so hot that a couple seconds of exposure would be painful. I then deicide to purchase vrm/memory heatsinks on amazon in the hope that it would solve my issue it did not I will provide pictures showing where I placed the heatsinks. I removed the gpu completely as I would like to avoid damaging it, any help would greatly be appreciated. Thanks all. 20230707_105342.jpg

English isn't my native language so sorry for this I need help with my pc that doesn't boot anymore after I used DDU to unistall de gpu drivers and take off the gpu (gtx 1080) and give it to its owner, now, that I wanted to start my pc it doesn't boot anymore, it lights up the VGA led and the debug code sometimes shows "A0 and A4" (I have an aorus ultra z590) I tried to take off the ssd and hdd, I tried to clear de CMOS, retire the CMOS battery and nothing happend, still the same, I'm out of ideas... I hope someone can help me with this and thank you Edit: I borrow a gpu from a friend, re-enabled integrated onboard graphics, everything working again, maybe aorus no more, just problems since y change mobo...

Hi Guys, My PC is starting to show sings of slowness in certains games and I wanted to help increase what my GPU can do while I am stuck with my curent processor (i5 4690K) So I am curently looking for an little stable overclock either onto MSI Afterburner or Zotac FireStorm (I got both) I think my cooling is sufficient enough that I don't need to worry (at least for right now) So if anyone could help me unlock at bit more power from this hunk of a GPU I got for now and later as I'll change my CPU as soon as i could since I am bootlenecked Thanks

Greetings people! Alright let me get straight to the point. So I bought a gtx 1080 off of ebay in hopes of fixing it. Its a 1080 strix which randomly turns off well not completely off its fans start spinning at full speed and the display turns black. Something else it does is that when I turn it on sometimes it kinda freezes up or smth like that idk its really weird. When it freezes the rgb on it starts to flicker and a very loud high pitch noise appears like a coil wine but really loud. Idk why it does that. What I have tried so far: -Tested a different 850w psu = same problems -Tested a different mobo = same problems -Tested a different gpu = same problems -Cleaned the card and reapplied thermal paste = same problems -Reinstalled the drivers and windows = same problems I did also run Furmark for a bit and did the windows install with that gpu in it no problems. It just seems very random when it happens. I ran out of ideas by now thats why Im hoping to find some help here. It would be awesome to get that card running properly again especially how cheap it was and during this time. My specs are: I7 9700 16gb 3600mhz 500w sfx-l psu Aorus z390 I pro wifi crucial 500gb nvme m.2

Hello and greetings from Poland, I'm new here, and as I saw a lot of briliant people here, maybe one of You could help me. Some time ago i saw an adverb on a local internet market place, that someone is selling graphic accelerators and is claiming that those are like an GTX Titan. https://www.olx.pl/d/oferta/karta-graficzna-jak-nvidia-geforce-gtx-titan-6gb-CID99-IDJ8ODP.html I made some reserch and determined that those were made on a Nvidia Tesla K20x. So after a bit of search, I found a topic of a guy that changed a GTX 780 to a Tesla K20 http://www.guztech.nl/wordpress/index.php/2013/11/researching-nvidia-gpus-geforce-gtx780-and-gtx-titan-to-tesla-k20-and-tesla-k20x/ With a bit reverse engeneering I was able to change the hardware id (with those resistors) to 1001, and after flashing the cards bios I got a GTX Titan. After downloading and instaling drivers, gpu-z sees the card as a proper titan. The first problem is that I can't get windows to see the card in display control. like the guy that sells those Frankensteins Second thing, is that in the nvidia control panel I can pick GTX Titan to run 3d rendering but it makes no difference. The card is cold, and not running 3d apps. Anyone did such a swap, and may share some thoughts?

Hello, i just wnated to know if i would be better off getting a 1650 right now and upgrade the GPU later down the road or straight away get an 2060. I would be doing some AAA games, not cyberpunk, games like Witcher 3, Frozen horizon, Hitman 3, and some indie games. Will be using 1080 monitor for now. No budget contrarians between the two.

The GTX Titan has 6GB of GDDR5 memory, and 2688 CUDA cores with a 1502MHz memory clock speed. I'm trying to upgrade from an MSI RX 560 (4GB) to a new card. Recently I found one for $350. Is it worth the money?

I have an Asus laptop with a 1050 and I'va noticed that on other people's laptops the gpu runs at a slightly higher clock (~65Mhz) although mine stays cooler. My brother's Dell with the same specs for example scores higher in benchmarks and also behaves better in COD Warzone. I figure it has to do with the vbios and was wondering if I can extract the one on his laptop and flash it on mine since I don't seem to find vbioses for 4gb 1050s. How can I do that? And how do I restore my version if I don't like the new one?

MSI Geforce GTX 1660 SUPER VENTUS XS 6G OC GRAPHIC CARDS or MSI AMD RADEON RX 5500XT GAMING X 8GB GRAPHICS CARD. These 2 cards price the same and i dont know which one to go with, i have seen some people talk about the unreliability of the radeon card and it crashing and so on while the 1660 is pretty reliable. Could i know some thoughts on this ,im a bit skeptical about the radeon card eventhough it looks better on paper.

I am running a 2060s RTX right now on my personal computer and I was streaming to twitch and YouTube via restream.io and playing games. Now this caused my gpu to heat up and caused obs to crash mid stream where people where finding my stream. Now is it possible to run a second gpu like a 1650 GTX with the 2060s RTX to ease the load on the gpu? That was I can game and stream and it would cause issues. Yes I do have another slot to run a second gpu.

My display looks like this when I power on the new system. I used my old GPU from a previous setup on my new build but it had to sit in my locker for about 2 months. It was wrapped up in an anti static bag and wasn't moved around much. Card: Gigabyte GTX 960 G1 4G Is it possible to fix this? Update: after letting it run like that for about 5 minutes, it seems to be working alright.

So I had problems for a while now, where my pc randomly shuts off while loading into a game. Now i finally think im closer then ever to finding the error. In short, ive installed msi afterburner and tracked the temperatures of my Gpu while doing benchmarks, or playing games. It shut off exactly at 79 or 80 C. So i looked into msi ab and the max temp of my gpu was set as 79 C, with a power limit of 100%. So naturally i upped both to the max to see if it was the issue, ran the test again and it shut off again at around 82/83 C. That lead me to believe its an issue with my Psu. Ive tried a different test, where i upped my Gpu fan speed curve. It kept the temp low. It stopped at around 72 C. Then it died again. Which again led me to believe its an issue with my power supply and that it couldnt supply my gpu with enough power. Also if i hooked up another monitor directly into my motherboard. It still worked, even after my gpu crashed. Also when my pc crashes only the video signal is missing, the games in the back, or teamspeak are still running while im sitting infront of a black screen. So wheres the problem than? Ive tested my components in a psu calculator and it said i could even use a 400 W psu, while mine is 550 W and cant support my pc with enough power? My Pc is 6 years old and some components might got a bit dusty, but i tried my best to dust it all of, even ti internals of my gpu. Idk if that could be the power eater. Could this be a different issue, or do i need to change the Psu?
