Hei there fellow watermen. i was interested in trying something ive read some attempts about but still am unsure if would work. i whant to mod a h110 gt to run two radiators. and i i have a few questions in mind. Has anyone tryed it? did it work? is it har to re fill after i connect the secound rad? does it brake warrenty? what pipe and nipple sizes should i go for? and so on. how would i get excess air out of the rads and pump? and is the h110 pump at all, strong anough for 2 rads? i was looking at the EKWB RAD XTX 360 as for the secound radiator. using it as excoust in the top. and the 280mm h110 rad as front intake. what more is there to think about before i go about ordering the things i need for it? did i miss any vital points? thx -toby

Hey all! I Have no clue on how many compression fittings i need for my custom liquid cooling loop. So far these are my parts: KOMODO-NV-GTX9 Water Block for my GTX 980 Alphacool NexXxoS UT60 Full Copper Dual 140mm Radiator x2 for my top and front radiators MCP655-B Pump Swiftech pump. Notoriously good, reccomended by Linus himself CPU Water Block - EK-Supremacy EVO Just the water block; nothing special PrimoChill PrimoFlex Advanced LRT 3/8in.ID x 1/2in.OD Tubing- Crystal Clear (10ft pack) Highly suggested tubing LF Reaction 250mm Cylinder Reservoir and Mount And the radiator I have always wanted; might change this if need be I was thinking of using either Swiftechs compression fittings or Koolance fittings, but I have no clue how many I need. I would not like to buy any more than I have too because they are 4 bucks each. Maybe one extra in case of a failiure. Any idea of how many I should buy; Please tell me I would be forever grateful! Thanks! -BigCave

Hey all I kind of feel like I screwed up, was bored so decided to pick the fitting for my custom loop, now I have my list and it's over £400... that sound right? 14 revolver fitting for the hard pipe part, 10 soft compression fitting for the basement, plus the drain and fill pipes, plus a couple plugs, a pair of temp sensors and some 90 and 45 degree extensions.

Hi guys, I'm trying out my first water cooling build and I can not seem to get two things to happen. I put a straight bitspower fitting into a Clear PrimoChill LRT Advanced tubing 3/8" x 1/2" to test it out. The tube won't come off now. Is there a way of removing the tubing safely without damaging both, the tube and the fitting? And secondly, the compression fitting on the other end didn't go down on the tube all the way. It won't even reach the threading that it screws onto. But I can feel that the tube is held down really freaking tight. The tube on the barb itself is so tight that I think it may work without the compression, which is why it won't come off either. Any suggestions guys? I am feeling a little overwhelmed right now.. Thanks, P

I want to try out watercooling yet fittings are just too hard for me. I'm new to hard tubing yet i want to use it because it looks alot better than soft. I scared that I'll fuck up the bends. Anyways the case i want to use is a corsair 780t. The parts are this and this. Are they compatible? I want to do something similar too this.

I've been searching for hours now and can't find what I'm looking for... I want to use Bitspower fittings for the great looks and for the large selection of fittings. My problem is that I cannot find 12mm uv green tubing for the fittings. However, I have been able to find many 1/2" (12.7mm) tubing options that come in the colour I want. Which leads to my question, would a 12mm fitting work with the 12.7mm tubing? I know I would be a tight fit (if it actually did work) but I have only been able to find people trying it with the fitting being bigger than the tubing. I would try it myself but I have already spent too much money on this thing and it is time to play the broke student card. If it will not work does anyone have any ideas on what I could use? I am heart set on the bitspower fittings and the smaller tubing. Also putting a die in the loop is a last resort, I would much rather stick with a distilled water, silver kill coil, and coloured tubing setup. Thanks for your help.

Hi all, I've finally decided to make the jump into water cooling after far too many years to admit to of sticking with air cooled builds. I have put together a partial parts list (excluding fans, GPU blocks and a few extra fittings and a drain port) - all of which I will be getting shortly. I was just looking for some validation/help that the pipe diameters and fittings would basically all fit together without any issues. I am technically and mechanically competent so hardline piping doesn't concern me at all, but as I haven't water cooled before (and I'm an Englishman living in America) the different diameters of things and switching between metric and imperial has me slightly confused. Hello I'm going to be doing acrylic tubing soon and I would need some help to pick up good fittings. I'm planning to go with 12mm or 13mm size tubing. I will be doing bends by bending the tubing anywhere I can. So what fittings would you guys recommend?

I have been researching different types of pumps, tubing, and fittings but I am a complete noob when it comes to sizes. I thought that it would be better to ask what size tubing and compression fittings to use instead of buying them and they are the wrong sizes. I would really appreciate it if you could tell me what size tubing and compression fittings to use for this pump. This is the link to the pump: http://www.frozencpu.com/products/2128/ex-pmp-27/Swiftech_MCP655-B_12v_Water_Pump_w_38_Conversion_Kit_317_GPH.html (sleeving nice )

So I'm trying to buy all my water cooling fittings and blocks, and I have most of them already. I'm trying to make this look really nice, with 90 degree fittings to keep the actual tubes straight as possible for the most part. I'm still waiting for my GPU water block so I'm still running on air cooling and haven't even bothered putting any of the water cooling stuff together, but I have a good idea of how it will all go together. The only thing I'm not really sure how to do, is pick the right size extender for my CPU block 90 to line up with my ram block 90. It seems like it should be a standard size extender, since all ram blocks seem to be the same thickness, and all CPU blocks seem to be the same thickness. If it helps, I'm using a EK supremacy evo CPU block, and an EK Monarch Ram block. Can someone do the math for me? LOL

I'm planning on doing a gold themed water cooled build, and I was wondering where to find things/which things I should use. I know I'm going to use the Corsair 900D (it's sitting next to me) but I haven't ordered anything else. Specs so far: Case: Corsair 900D (it's sitting next to me) CPU: 4770k GPU: GTX 780 MSI Lightning (if they would hurry up and release it) Motherboard: Asus Z87 Deluxe PSU: Corsair AX860i 1. I know phobya makes a gold plated rez, and bitspower makes gold compressions; anyone know where to find them? 2. Planning on putting a 480 rad in the roof of the 900D and one in the basement. Any suggestions for performance rads? 3. Recommendations on a gold plated CPU water block for LGA 1150? 4. Thoughts on 1/2" ID 3/4" OD tubing and fittings? I kinda have my heart set on it 5. What tubing/coolant colors would go with gold theme? (clear tubing with colored coolant preferred) 6. http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=34694 ^this appears to be a gold pump mod kit for MCP655. Will it decrease the performance/lifespan of the pump? 7. is the Phobya RGB led controller and lights any good? And where do I find it? All suggestions are appreciated!

Hey guys, I finally decided to go with a custom water loop. I'm pretty confident about everything. I just have a few questions. Which fittings do I use? How do I know which ones to use? And also, which reservoir do I use on the Corsair Air 540 case? It has 2 vertical bays. Thanks! Hi guys Im looking at creating a new PC and I want to use rigid tubing. But I tend to research alot before starting a build. And I have hit a snag. I cant really wrap my head around how the fittings holds the tubing in place. Does anyone have any relevant links to literature or possible videos explaining this? What I have found so far hasnt really explained it to my satisfaction. Thank you in advance.

So im trying to find a website in the EU that sell Bitspower fittings. The ones i can find basically only sell 90/45 and normal Compression Fittings but im trying to find Extenders/snake fittings etc. I do know there are at least 2 sites in the US that sell what im looking for but that bloody shipping a Fing 100$. Would it be possible to pay less...... (shipping inside the EU is like 35$) But if its still cheaper to buy in the US i will or if possible buy from Bitspower themselves.

From FrozenCPU's facebook: "The third series in Monsoon's award winning line of premium fittings, the Chain Gun, is aimed squarely at builders looking for a compression fitting that makes a bold, in your face, take no prisoners, statement." http://www.frozencpu.com/search.html?mv_profile=keyword_search&mv_session_id=uPH27LT8&searchspec=chain+gun These look awesome, I plan to do water cooling in the future and I will probably use these in there. What do you guys think of these?

Come on an adventure This is my first go at watercooling and I don't think I'm ever going back to using air! Here we have Bertha 2.0 (after getting bored with Bertha 1.0 of course). Composed of a modded prodigy with a shroud (obviously not an idea I saw watching SingularityComputers :P ), 520mm of radiator and some cable sleeving. More below. Cable Management in a Prodigy WITH tubes everywhere = worst thing ever. Must say, it wasn't a half bad job. I'm still going to have nightmares about it. Good thing I'm not posting a pic of behind the GPU! A bit more detail on the parts: Case parts: Bitfenix prodigy (Modded front panel) + shroud (installed by yours truly) + Modded Power button + Hole in the bottom (to fit a radiator) All this done with a trusty dremel. 2 Corsair SP120 fans for intake and 2 NB fans up top for exhaust (Notice how the rings are nice and green) Some Bitfenix presleeved extenders (Hate all you want, that took effort to manage in the back since these things gotta attach to the original cables) PC parts: CPU: 4770K Mobo: ASUS Z87I-Deluxe (took a lot of patience to get one of these) RAM: 16GB Corsair Vengeance (Couldn't find the vengeance pro GOLD) SSD: 128GB Samsung 840 PRO (wish I could get one of those evos) HDD: 750GB WD Caviar black GPU: EVGA GTX 780 (bow chicka wow wow) PSU: Corsair AX860 Watercooling parts: Resevoir: Swiftech micro res Pump+CPU Block: Swiftech Apogee drive II (Believe me, you need to save as much space as possible in there) GPU waterblock: EK titan something or other Radiator(s): 240MM and 280MM black ice stealth (520 in a prodigy WOOT WOOT :D ) Fittings: Monsoon free center compression fittings (gold to match the mobo of course) Tubing: Primochill advanced LRT Atomic UV green (I even used the included Sysprep, I'll keep this spot updated with any plasticizer issues I hope to not have) I also got 2 bitspower 90 degree fittings that I like to ignore Coolent: Primochill Ice intensified (UV Brite Green) More pics: The modding process in all its painful glory **respect for anyone who can guess where the SSD and HDD are** just noticed that the pictures don't exactly showcase it hah Sorry for the sloppy pictures :( silly iphone why won't you take good low light pics

I'm planning on getting another GTX 780. I'm looking into putting in a full inline water system and would like the vast knowledge of skyn....I mean the forum to help me. I currently have no components. What components do you guys recommend. ie: best quality or do you have a bias preference Also in the market for a new case good for water cooling. Also I know the cards won't run hot but I like shiny things and what is shinier than a full water cooling system. also edited due to ExconHD sorry for not putting more effort forth. Does this help more. If you want more answers feel free to ask.

Ignoring aesthetics, which is better: clamps or compression fittings? Linus mentioned that with clamps you don't need to worry about tightness; it is self-tightening. And that, with warmer temps (especially with new builds), compression fittings might come a little bit loose.
