I just received an email from something that claims to be Apple about a charge for $55.99 for PUBG coins on an account I barely remember making back when I needed one for work. I damn-near threw up when I saw how much money some poor hacker was wasting on a phone game. Anyways, it doesn't actually say what the account name is or give a transaction ID, and the notice/receipt came as a PDF which I've never experienced before. I'm fairly certain the link in the email is fraudulent and wants to steal muh info. Has anyone else gotten this, or can at least confirm that this is what an apple recipe looks like? (As void of features, info, and end user freedom as their products). I haven't gotten a charge yet to any of my accounts by the way.

Good day to you all, I have tried nearly everything from every different website I can find, none resolve my issue. I have the latest version of Sentora web-hosting control panel installed, I have created an email account and am able to receive mail through roundcube webmail. I however send mail and it shows as sent successfully and drops it into the sent box, but upon checking mail logs and it shows as timed out and not sent, no matter what email I send to. Here's the latest: Oct 21 13:30:41 login postfix/smtp[17110]: 77CB23C12D5: to= <x17andrew71x@gmail.com>, relay=none, delay=162982, delays=162890/0.06/93/0, dsn=4.4.1, status=deferred (connect to alt2.gmail-smtp- in.l.google.com[74.125.192.26]:25: Connection timed out) Sometimes I will instead of get Timed out, it will show Network unreachable: Oct 21 13:30:12 login postfix/smtp[17107]: 81AF93C16AB: to= <x17andrew71x@gmail.com>, relay=none, delay=73057, delays=72994/0.05/63/0, dsn=4.4.1, status=deferred (connect to alt2.gmail-smtp- in.l.google.com[2607:f8b0:400d:c00::1a]:25: Network is unreachable) I've tried changing the sentora config on my panel to send through every different option and with or without smtp, etc. I have followed tutorial after tutorial as well on changing the port it is supposed to use. When I do this though, i try sending new mail and it still attempts to send it through port 25. no matter what i change it to, the log says :25 every time. Please help me get this cleared up. I will be glad to provide any other information necessary. I've opened 25, 587, 2525, etc on my router and through Iptables. - Andrew Edit: Here is the latest, full mail log from the start of me logging into webmail through sending the message and it trying to reach gmail: Oct 21 14:04:13 login postfix/smtpd[18002]: connect from localhost[::1] Oct 21 14:04:13 login postfix/smtpd[18002]: 8AF9C3C16E9: client=localhost[::1], sasl_method=LOGIN, sasl_username=support@vestraweb.com Oct 21 14:04:13 login postfix/cleanup[18007]: 8AF9C3C16E9: message-id=<01768e1a9eb1727ce6a5f086c978a5a7@vestraweb.com> Oct 21 14:04:13 login postfix/qmgr[17785]: 8AF9C3C16E9: from=<support@vestraweb.com>, size=1048, nrcpt=1 (queue active) Oct 21 14:04:13 login postfix/smtpd[18002]: disconnect from localhost[::1] Oct 21 14:04:23 login postfix/qmgr[17785]: C7F2B3C16CB: from=<support@vestraweb.com>, size=1048, nrcpt=1 (queue active) Oct 21 14:04:46 login postfix/smtp[18008]: connect to gmail-smtp-in.l.google.com[64.233.180.27]:25: Connection timed out Oct 21 14:04:46 login postfix/smtp[18008]: connect to gmail-smtp-in.l.google.com[2607:f8b0:4003:c0b::1b]:25: Network is unreachable Oct 21 14:04:54 login postfix/smtp[18021]: connect to gmail-smtp-in.l.google.com[64.233.180.27]:25: Connection timed out Oct 21 14:04:54 login postfix/smtp[18021]: connect to gmail-smtp-in.l.google.com[2607:f8b0:4003:c0b::1b]:25: Network is unreachable Oct 21 14:04:54 login postfix/smtp[18021]: connect to alt1.gmail-smtp-in.l.google.com[2607:f8b0:4002:c03::1a]:25: Network is unreachable

Hello all, I am having a problem with my work computers not recognizing one of my staff's email addresses anymore. Randomly all of a sudden with Outlook 365 on her computer, it changed her email address to be [letters and numbers@domain.com]. I have looked for a resolution on Windows.com threads and have come up with non-answer resolutions that are rather infuriating. I am looking to get it back to working status. We operate of an exchange server through Amazon Workmail. Now what's interesting is that her laptop can still get emails just fine like she was regularly, but then all of a sudden the desktop she has here in the office is coming up with this error. It's leading me to believe that since Outlook appears to have been updated it's causing an issue with working with our exchange server correctly. I have tried to log in to her account on other computers here in the office but it's doing the same thing on those computers. Only thing I have noticed that is consistent is that the email accounts have all been updated recently to the newest versions of outlook. The things I have done are referenced here. https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/msoffice/forum/msoffice_outlook-mso_other-mso_2016/outlook-upgrade-and-outlookletters-and/c6d9437e-f1d1-474f-8c98-7db612cd7154 and although I have created an alias to try this, it is not allowing me to switch at this time as it says I should try again next week. Any assistance would be great in trying to get this to be resolved as she is the only one affected on my corporate email accounts...for now. I fear this may start to happen to my other staff members here in the future and I'd like to get ahead of the problem before it blows up in my face.

Alright so I was trying to login into my email that is outlook because I had just recently reset my pc and the account I had before was the email I am trying to get in right now, and I can't remember the password to it and I've tried at least 30 times through trying to recover it but that recovery email isn't even mine and I've tried contacting outlook themselves and no luck there. I've tried to login so many times to the point where it says I have processed to many requests and I've done it multiple times. I was wondering if any could help me by possibly telling me ways that I could hack back into it or some fixes that might possibly work. I had just bought minecraft on it and I have important things linked to that account and I can't lose those things so if anyone will be willing to help me, it'll be much appreciated. Ask any questions and I'll answer only if they are important and useful.

So, this is an odd one affecting one of my end-users, and I'm a bit stumped (for now). New PC, Windows 10 Pro 2004 with Office 2019. All assembled and installed by me. Outlook is using G-Suite Sync (Google Apps Sync) to work with company gmail. Outlook fails to send outgoing email, with an error suggesting that the MAPI to MIME conversion is failing. The standard fix for this is to re-install G-Suite sync and Outlook from scratch, as apparently corruption of the dlls involved is "common" according to M$... Done that, 3 times. Also run SFC and DISM cleanups with no luck. I spent most of Wednesday afternoon talking with a Google engineer trying to make sure it wasn't the Google Sync software causing the issue - it isn't. ie, we used a third party program to attempt MAPI to MIME conversion - so we know 100% that the fault is with Microsoft, either Windows or Office. We kind of knew this already, but needed to confirm it. There are other users with the same software setup and versions having no issues too, which makes it extra annoying. So, do any of you know if there is a way to obliterate and re-install/repair anything relating to MAPI to MIME conversion in Windows 10?

So I made an account on rocket mail waaaay back in 2009 and it was for using yahoo messenger as I remember. I still have its username and password and also have a recovery email setup in it which is a gmail that i use regularly. If im correct, to login to a rocket mail account, you have to go to yahoo mail and sign in with username@rocketmail.com. I did this but it gives me an error stating "Sorry, we don't recognize this email". I dont remember deactivating the account so is there any other thing that could be keeping me from logging in? Is there a way I can use my recovery email to get me back in?

So I've recently heard about ProtonMail and Epic Games store not allowing user to use ProtonMail email to log in or signup. I google what is ProtonMail and it looks like it's privacy focus, so I'm thinking on switching to it. But what will happen to my account that is using my current Gmail? Do I need to manually change it to my new protonmail?

Hi all, I primarily use Thunderbird as my desktop email client. I have configured Enigmail to handle my encrypted emails, but it has a default feature that isn't available to other users of PGP: it encrypts the subject line. While I would normally be elated by this, no other program is able to do that. Thus, my subject lines sent from Thunderbird always read "..." in any other email client. Does anyone know how to disable subject line encryption on Enigmail? Once other programs start doing this, I'll turn it back on immediately. But for now, I gotta turn this off. Thanks!

Hi all, I'm using Thunderbird 68.10.0 (64-bit) on macOS Catalina 10.15.5 I have multiple inboxes used on my client, mostly Google accounts but my primary one is non-Google and syncs via CalDav. Unfortunately, my tasks won't sync. In fact, adding a new task is a completely grayed-out option. Anyone else run into this issue? Attached is a screenshot of what I see, as well as the add-ons I'm running (minus Enigmail... I use that, too, but only had so much room in the screenshot ¯\_(ツ)_/¯). Happy to supply more details if needed. Thanks! ----- UPDATE: Welp, I figured this out myself. My service has a different CalDav address between calendars and tasks. Whoops!

Google has been forced to respond to claims regarding Gmail third party developers having access to read the emails of users. Sources: Original article from The Wall Street Journal: https://www.wsj.com/articles/techs-dirty-secret-the-app-developers-sifting-through-your-gmail-1530544442 The Verge Article - pre-Google blog: https://www.theverge.com/2018/7/2/17527972/gmail-app-developers-full-email-access Google's blog: https://www.blog.google/technology/safety-security/ensuring-your-security-and-privacy-within-gmail/ The Verge Article - post-Google blog: https://www.theverge.com/2018/7/3/17533108/google-gmail-privacy-read-email-messages-response It looks like the fallout from Cambridge Analytica have hit Google has they are forced to clarify their position on data handling and access. When you install an app on your device, it will often ask for various permissions for it to work. These can include access to your email, read messages, access to location, etc. However it can include managing emails, managing messages, etc. It appears that this is where this issue has stemmed from, apps that allow it to manage a users mailbox, granting the developers (and possibly employees) permission to read all your emails. Despite the prompt to allow permissions when an app installs, it appears that users aren't taking into account exactly what this means. This isn't going to be the last time that a company like Google, one that holds user's personal/sensitive data, is highlighted in this way, but now there will be more scrutiny than ever. This is something that I've come to expect, especially after using Gmail for so many years, so it hasn't surprised me at all. However I can see how it might frustrate/anger others. I think a lot of people knew that Google scanned their emails for advertising targeting (despite that was stopped last year), but I don't think they expected non-Google companies to also have practically unfiltered access to their emails. Whilst Google claims they have good procedures in place to prevent unauthorised access or mistreatment, it would only take one rogue developer to slip through the net to cause some significant damage to Google.

So, At the end of last year, I bought the Humble Bundle with Vegas Pro 14 Edit and other software and activated the products. For some reason, ALL my E-Mail addresses don't work to activate my products, which are deactivated because I had to reinstall windows. Now, I can't use the products from the bundle. I ask for help here because YOU HAVE TO FREAKING PAY FOR SUPPORT FROM MAGIX.

Hi, I requested for a bootkit from AMD. I received an email saying: "Dear Farhan, Your service request : SR #{ticketno:[xxxxxxxxxx]} has been reviewed and updated. Response and Service Request History: . . . In order to update this service request, please respond, leaving the service request reference intact. Best regards, HK AMD Global Customer Care" What should I do next? Should I just wait or should I reply them? I'm very confused since instructions are unclear. Help from anyone who has ordered a bootkit and is experienced in this is most welcome. Thanks!

Hello again, R' here Hope anyone remembers March 2k18 (<-Click) as much as I do. So, yeah, the 2nd one stopped "working" as well. I'm not mad at the plastic that gave up, I'm upset with the company that's ignoring me. OH, OH! Follow-up mail? sure. Thanks, Phanteks, I love being ignored for five months straight only to get back an answer like only you can provide (priceless!) If anyone here can link me to proper Phanteks support personnel, I'd be glad to get my sh*tty plastic piece in the post finally.

I've been looking into getting Proton Mail as a gmail alternative. It seems like a solid alternative with options to pay for better features. I would probably get a free account and use it strictly for private communication and business like banking and job offers/recruiting. I was wondering if anyone has used it and what they think of the service. https://protonmail.com/about It also has a android and IOs app I believe.

E-Fail is a vulnerability found by German security scientists and may concern a lot of people that use encrypted e-mail services. The EFF has released its knowledge around E-Fail, how to react and how the security flaw works. Nice read in my opinion: https://www.eff.org/my/deeplinks/2018/05/not-so-pretty-what-you-need-know-about-e-fail-and-pgp-flaw-0 For thise who don't like long articles: Be safe and know your encryption!

I’m planning on building a/multiple server(s), depending on what you guys say here. heres what I want to do: first, I want to host a website. WordPress site, nothing too big, and really not much traffic. Just a family blog. second, I want to host my own email server. Not really certain as to what platform yet. Not much email traffic again. It’s going to share the same domain as the website, third, I want to run a media server. Software will be Plex. It’s only going to be internal facing. can I run these all on the same physical server, or do I need to have separate systems. What minimum specs should I have? (I plan on going over the minimum, but don’t want to go outrageous if I don’t need to) and what OS should I use? I was thinking Windows Server, just because that’s what I know. I’ve just never worked on something this complex before. thnak you
