I'm running a 3080 Asus TUF with a 3600 Ryzen 5 CPU at 4.2GHz with 3200Mhz RAM. + 1080p 144fps screen with freesync/gsync OFF. I'm sitting in Destiny 2 with all settings at max, 1080p, 100% render resolution with Nvidia's control panel set to maximum performance not power saving. Any idea why in the tower i'm sitting around 110fps and in crucible around 120fps? Both GPU and CPU utilization seem way below what they could be with CPU at 40-50% and GPU at 70-80%. My friend has a 2080ti and gets 120fps at 1440p at the same settings so i'm confused as heck, I have a proper 750W power supply with multiple PCIE power ports for each cord. I'm on the latest driver (tried previous too) and have tried low latency mode on off, on and boost/ultra with no real difference, windows is on ultimate performance mode too with W10 Pro Vers 1909

ive got a rtx 2060 and ryzen 3600 setup and it runs great but ive just started playing destiny 2 again and i cant get 5 mins into the game without getting "graphics runtime crash" and error code broccolli and shuts down. does anyone have any experience with this issue? right before the error comes up and the game crashes, the images on the screen start to bug out and certain things like rocks appear green and then CRASH! i havent done anything like overclock or anything. all the drivers and everything are up to date. but this is my main game and not being able to play it on my new computer and monitor sucks. also other games ive played and had no issues at all. most recently hellblade ive played with no issue. then i jumped into destiny and cant even play 5 mins. hope someone will be able to help

Im not having any problems with my drivers, but i saw that my adrenalin software recommended me to apply higher settings on destiny 2, even tho it states my average fps is 30 (which it isnt, probably just cuz of a lot of cutscenes which is capped at 30fps. i usually have around 40-90 fps). How would increasing grapichal options give me better fps/gaming experience? only thing i could think of it is that its letting my slow ryzen 3 2200g rest a bit while my gpu is pinged at 100%. but that wouldnt improve anything, would it? If it matters, my specs: Ryzen 3 2200g (stock) a320m-hdv r3.0 2x8 3000mhz ram xfx rs rx 480 4gb

So I bought a used Gigabyte Auorus RX 580 8gb that was used for mining. It didn't even work when I got it but I eventually got drivers on it and now it works fine until I was playing Destiny 2 last night and the game randomly froze, I saw some artifacts, then the screen turned Purple/Pink and there was a loud buzz coming through my headphones. I looked at GPU-Z thinking it had a mining BIOS or something odd on it, and what I found is it doesn't have the correct BIOS a Gigabyte Auorus should have. It instead has Bios Version 015.050.000.001.000000 which doesn't line up with the Tech Power up VBIOS database for the model I have. https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/?architecture=&manufacturer=Gigabyte&model=RX+580&version=&interface=&memType=&memSize=8192&since= When I tried to use AMD Winflash, I got a Subsystem ID Mismatch error. I really don't know what to do.

Anyone else get on Destiny 2 yet? It took forever to unpack the game and now I'm stuck waiting for capacity. I had to uninstall the Blizzard version to free up some disk space and am worried now that my settings are going to have to be re-entered. I don't use WASD for controls so having to remember what I had everything at before (hadn't played in a while) might be a struggle. Though I guess it doesn't really matter if I can't even remember what the actions were.

This is possibly the most map-specific build I've ever done. Be that as it may, it's still super fun. The main components of this build are the Last Word hand cannon and the Orewing's Maul grenade launcher. Let's start by talking about The Last Word: It is a 225 RPM hand cannon featuring the Fan Fire perk: this weapon can be fired quickly and continuously. Faster reload and increased accuracy on successive hip-fire damage. This hand cannon will 4-tap a typical Guardian, and has a very good TTK because of it. The range on this hand cannon is lower than most, but is still plenty to work with. Next, we have the Orewing's Maul grenade launcher. Lightweight frame, 90 RPM tube(or single shot) grenade launcher. Mine features spike grenades for the ability to one-shot Guardians on a direct hit. Excellent for bouncing projectiles around corners, in the same fashion as Fighting Lion. The difference between Fighting Lion and Orewing's Maul though, is that Fighting Lion is an exotic and will not kill in one shot(hmm, maybe that's something to play around with some more?). As you may notice, these two weapons compliment each other very nicely in terms of their ability and use cases. Get some damage in with Last Word, cleanup with Orewing's Maul if necessary. In the reverse order: get some damage with Orewing's Maul but not enough for the kill? Cleanup with Last Word. You'll get the same functionality either way, regardless of which weapon you lead or follow up with. Now, you may be wondering why I say this is a very map-specific build. This is because of the grenade launcher, mostly. Part of it is also due to the Last Word: it really don't have as much range as something like Rose, Thorn, or even Better Devils. As such, this build works the best on very enclosed maps. Maps like Retribution, where this build was developed. Why do I like this build on Retribution so much specifically? It has corners. Lots and lots of corners. Even with the open rooms on this map, nothing is out of the range of The Last Word, and basically everything can be cleaned up with by Orewing's Maul if necessary. Some visual aide in case you don't know this map: Take note of how many corners there are. Especially the doorways and curves. A build with limited range such as this one works incredibly well at killing people around the corners. The other benefit is that since just about nothing is out of range of The Last Word, you'll just about always hit for maximum damage per bullet. The main caveat of this build is that it really only works on Retribution. I've tried it on Burnout, but it just doesn't hold up outside or in the long lanes. Don't let the map limitation effect your thoughts of the build though, I assure you, it is very fun to use. Just not outside of Retribution. BONUS CONTENT: How I plan to post to and use this blog! I won't be posting on Saturdays or Sundays. During the week, I'll try to maintain daily posts as much as I can. On the weekends, I'll probably be streaming on Twitch for a few hours each day. This should have the benefits of being able to get some cool clips to share with these blogs, as well as experimenting with different builds. If all goes according to plan, I can hopefully also interact and discuss various things with you guys as well! I'm not 100% sure on the advertising rules over here in blogs, so I won't risk linking my Twitch channel directly. However, I do have it on my Discord profile(if you're friends with/in a server with me there) as well as listed here on my forum profile.

[D2 PvP] Shotgun/Recluse Warlock - Zippy Boi v1
Crunchy Dragon posted a blog entry in Crunchy's Gaming Blog
So I've decided to main Warlock for a few weeks as I attempt to hone my skill on and improve with that class. I discovered Transversive Steps last night. In case you don't know what those are, T-Steps are a very fun Warlock exotic boot that makes you sprint faster and reloads your equipped weapon as you do it. Some of you may have gone to the same place I did. Immediately, out came the Parcel of Stardust and the Recluse. Why that specific combination, you ask? I'm glad you asked! Parcel of Stardust is a lightweight frame shotgun. It clocks in at 80 RPM, and you move faster with it equipped. My roll has Corkscrew Rifling, Accurized Rounds, Snapshot Sights, Pulse Monitor, and a Range masterwork. The Recluse is a lightweight frame submachine gun. It clocks in at 900 RPM, and you move faster with it equipped. It also features a unique perk called Master of Arms, which procs on any weapon kill and increases Recluse damage by a hefty amount for ~5 seconds. I combined all that with top tree Daybreak, Attunement of Sky. This gives me the Icarus Dash ability, which works very similarly to a Hunter dodge, the catch being that I have to be airborne for it to work. Unlike a Hunter dodge however, Icarus Dash can be used every 6 seconds or so. Combined with T-Steps, Burst Glide, and lightweight frame weapons, it all makes for a very mobile build and playstyle. I had a really good time zipping around the map shotgunning and melting my opponents. I've found it shines the most on semi-enclosed maps such as The Dead Cliffs, Javelin-4, and Solitude. Overall, I think it could be a very strong build if I was better with the Warlock class. I look forward to using it more. Perhaps, I'll throw Stompees on my Hunter and run the same loadout... -
[D2 PvP] Double Quickdraw and Auto Rifles in PvP
Crunchy Dragon posted a blog entry in Crunchy's Gaming Blog
I am a very firm believer in the Quickdraw perk. I believe that I can say, without a doubt, that it's my favorite perk in the game. Some background... I like to play anti-meta outside the competitive playlist. For the purpose of this post, that means running an auto rifle. One that isn't Suros Regime. It means running an auto rifle with low recoil direction and stability stats. It means running a Halfdan-D in the Crucible. What does running a Halfdan-D in the Crucible entail? For me, it meant taking my main PvE rifle with 4,000+ PvE kills to go kill Guardians. And it was beautiful. You can view my Halfdan-D roll here. I'd like to bring your attention specifically to the range stat and the first perk, Quickdraw. What did I run in my secondary slot? Recluse seemed like an obvious choice but I gave it some more thought than that. I'm playing anti-meta, might as well act the part and come dressed for it. After some deliberation while staring at my vault, I came to rest on Gunnora's Axe for my energy weapon. Pay some more attention to the range stat and the first perk. Overall thoughts on the build These two weapons complimented each other like bread and butter, like peanut butter and jelly, like NFL quarterbacks and insurance ads. Having Quickdraw on both of my weapons made a big difference, especially when the handling stat was less-than-ideal for a PvP loadout(for some). The swaps between the two were blindingly fast. Everything was crisp and snappy. The Halfdan-D was an extension of my hand at this point(see again: PvE kill tracker), and I put it to some very good work in the Crucible. I hadn't used Gunnora's Axe before, but got the hang of it pretty quickly. My roll is almost a Chaperone in the energy slot. Moar details Being able to swap weapons as quickly as I did made a huge difference in my gameplay. I could whip a shotgun out to follow up a melee before my opponent had time to counter-melee. The Halfdan did plenty of work in both the medium and the long range. Being a high-impact, max-range auto rifle, I could challenge the upper tier of pulse rifles and even dip into scout rifle territory with the long zoom scope. The Dan consumed everything closer than midrange pulse rifles in the same fashion as Cerberus+1 eating everything in SMG/shotgun range. Stacking rampage made the blood flow faster, adding to the carnage. If enemies got too close for the Dan, the Axe came right behind it. I've used the Halfdan enough that it doesn't matter for me that the stability stat is low for an auto rifle. Between the amount of time I've spent with this rifle and the fact that I play on PC, I had no problems whatsoever keeping recoil controlled. I was able to out-flinch and out-shoot a Duke in the long range as well. Closing thoughts Moving Target on a slug shotty is amazing. I'd almost prefer it over Snapshot Sights or, to a lesser extent, Opening Shot. Rampage is probably the best perk available on an auto rifle. I caught myself thinking fantasizing about Cerberus+1 with Rampage earlier today. Give double Quickdraw a try. What do I think of auto rifles in PvP? It's a shame that there aren't that many good auto rifles for PvP. Gnawing Hunter with a good roll is a solid choice, but that requires farming Reckoning. Rapid-fire ARs like Misfit and Valakadyn are also good, but again: with a solid roll. And at that point, you're better off using Recluse anyway for the most part. Some rapid-fire ARs could probably out-range Recluse, but that'd be the main perk. Auto rifles can't fully compete against hand cannons that hit between 65-70 to the head, are much more consistent, and require less recoil control. Overall, I think auto rifles fill a really niche spot in the meta that fits in somewhere between the lower end of scout rifles and the higher end of pulse rifles. Because of that, there's no real point in taking an auto rifle when Vigilance Wing and Blast Furnace will be better choices anyway. The only real thing my Halfdan has on V-Wing is a couple more meters of range, but V-Wing would most likely out-shoot it every single time. Auto rifles are fun, but they're in a tough spot that makes it hard to enjoy them for most people. -
Hi Everyone! I'm currently tweaking my settings for best stream results while playing Destiny 2. But i'm having some problems on the said game. I noticed that whenever i tried the windowmode boarderless option for Slobs (since the game is not allowed to be stream on full screen mode), I am certainly seeing that the game is having some screen tearing whenever i turn on left and right while looking on a rock in Dreaming City. Base on my specs below, i can easily run this game on 144hz with custom settings, and my monitor is 144hz, meaning there should be no screen tearing at all. The difference between full screen and boarderless is day and night, and i can easily notice it whenever i play crucible or when i'm farming. I really want to play and stream Destiny 2, especially that this September since it will go on free. Most of my friends in Division 2 will most likely be trying to play the game and i want to stream that and share to my viewers and friends. Please let me know if there is a fix that i can apply, without buying an Elgato.

So while playing destiny 2 I get 98 to 99 percent usage at 140-180 FPS. This in itself isn't bad and if I set a frame rate cap of 60 even at 1440p highest settings I see GPU usage at 45-70% or so. (via task manager) Again no big deal. The problem comes in the form of my screen goes black for a few seconds and basically making it impossible to play. It seems to happen more in graphically intensive part in the game ( go figure), but it does happen in less intensive areas outside of fights. This never happens in a cut scene as those are much more prerendered ( I would assume) and don't see over 20% GPU usage. I have tried freesync on and off with no change. I have a brand new LG monitor 1440p 144hz and comes with some nice freesync software and is built around gaming. I have not done any special software to change the freesync range and I have not done any monitor overclocking. I haven't found my issue in particular anywhere yet. If any of you could help that would be great I seem to only have this issue in destiny and to a much lesser extent the division 2. ASUS prime X470 Pro R7 2700 32 GB 3200 Mhz C16 RX 580 8GB Corsair 510 M.2 960GB boot drive Corsair 510 M.2 960GB game drive Corsair RM850x in white Corsair 140mm fans galore fractal define S LG 32GK650F-B Any advice will be greatly appreciated. I may try some screen recordings and see what comes out of that. It might show me that it's a monitor problem instead. But for now, I'm just very confused.

Hi all, Was wondering if anyone has received the BIOS update yet that fixes Destiny 2 not launching on Ryzen 3000 platforms, and if so what motherboard you have from which manufacturer? Or if anyone is running Ryzen 3000 but doens't have issues running Destiny 2? And if so how they did that? Thanks in advance

Hi, so I decided to play destiny 2 again because why not, it's been two or three months since last time. I have a GTX 1070, 12GB of 3000MHz ram (getting another 4GB tomorrow, don't worry) and a Ryzen 5 1600. Nothing is underclocked, undervolted, overheating, and I even tried some overclocking, temps were cool and all, but it didn't help. Anyways, I was playing, and I was getting below 60fps, no matter the settings, in fact, I got higher framerates at max settings than low settings. Does anyone have an idea of what could be the issue? The system is 100% stable too.

I have a MSI Infinite X pc, I7 8700, msi gtx 1070 armor oc. It had the stick fan cooler on the cpu and just switched it to a MSI Forozl XL. After installing it and starting it up, my FPS on all games has lowered drastically. From 80-90 down to 10 to 20, what could have happened.

Hey there! I recently upgraded my system to the following : https://imgur.com/emrIh3b With a TX750 Power Supply (Corsair) Using a 144hz 27" 1440p monitor with G-sync. All components are fairly new, but still, I am getting worse fps than some of my friends using 1070's or regular 1080's Most people that use 1080ti's get around 150-170fps, while I am getting an mere average of ~80-90 fps (even at medium settings). There are no hitches or flickering, everthing feels pretty smooth, just the fps-counter that is anoying me... Nothing (component-wise) seems to be running at >70%. Temperatures are not exceeding 60C either. I'm pretty new to pc-gaming so I don't really know where to go from now... Just upgraded my MOBO BIOS, which fixed the RGB of my RAM (POGGERS). I've looked into the Nvidia config. screen and used the optimal perfomance settings. GeForce Experience is also Up-2-date. Am I missing something? Thanks in advance!! So i added Destiny 2 to my account as it was free and i am having a problem downloading it because of its huge 81gb file size. My monthly data cap is 35gb and i was wondering if its possible to download the files in a compressed form from another place, extract it to a folder, locate from blizzard client and play.

My PC is frequently crashing (all 3 monitors go black, system is unresponsive, but I can still hear and be heard over Discord) while playing Destiny 2 (twice in 3 hours just today). The only way to get the Pc to respond is to power off/power on with the power button on the case. I don't have any issues any other time or while playing any other game. I built this PC back in late June and have had these problems on and off but they have become more frequent in the last month or so. It's driving me insane. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. So as the title suggests, I'm searching for some people to play the Destiny 2 Nightfalls/Raids with on PC (though perhaps it would be easier and save us some threads if everything is accumulated in here). Currently got a Hunter on 335 Light but have trouble progressing much further without doing the aforementioned missions. I'm also currently Leveling up a Titan and a Warlock from the ground up Also have a Warlock and a Titan on the sameish Lightlevel so I'm theoretically flexible about the class (if it even matters that much). Another thing to mention is that I'm in the CET timewise. Anyone interested feel free to DM me, or post requests in here yourselves. Thanks!

I have a fantastic computer see my profile for details but for some reason, I cant get destiny 2 to launch anymore. it worked yesterday and now it doesn't I have changed nothing. I've already tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it multiple times I even got rid of the bettle.net app and I still have the same issue. this link is the video of it.https://photos.app.goo.gl/cvZ4FampRst0kNPV2
