This is satire, obviously, but sadly not far off from the truth. I don't understand why Intel does stuff like this. Yes, they're behind at the moment, but they've been making moves to right the ship, and there's things they could say at least about their plans for the future. Just giving a bunch of marketing speak, and trying to claim with a straight face that they have the best CPUs in the world, is so tone deaf, it worries me that they may not actually realize just how much they need to change, after all. Compared with Lisa Su's AMD presentation, Intel's was frankly sad. Do better Intel. We need real competition. -

Computex 2019 will be held during May28-June1.But the General Public is only allowed to visit the exhibition on the last day (June 1). I haven't attended it as a Media, so does anyone know how to register to prove that I'm kind of media(such as media company name?Or YouTube channel, etc? In order to visit cool exhibitors earlier)

MSI Gaming Premium Stack is part of a bundle package, which includes a headset, Qi Wireless phone charger, The Lucky Box, and Holographic projector. MSI is planning to release some skus, with different set of items. So I was lucky enough to get a badge to go to Computex in Taiwan, which isn't open to the general public, this year. Even luckier to meet Linus and team. Watching them work I noticed a few things. 1. They are super pro. Other youtubers are using old cameras or even just smartphones to record their content, then Dennis walks out with a RED camera. 2. Linus usually only needs one take for everything. 3. Linus is a GOD in the tech world. Whenever he walks in a booth, you can see all the exhibitors huddle up and start whispering. "That guy has 6M subscribers!" "That dude decides what is good and what is $hit!" "Follow him around answer any questions he has, do NOT anger him." I also thank Linus and Dennis so much for taking a selfie with them. I know they are super busy during tech shows. After my photo with Linus, I told I was a bigger fan of Dennis, hold that won't get Dennis fired. Just kidding. I also got to proudly tell Colton that I am a Floatplane subscriber. I hope Linus Tech Tips comes to the Computex every year.

https://videocardz.com/76372/amd-promises-never-before-seen-hardware-demonstration-for-computex-press-conference So, this is somewhat expected as computex is where many companies show off the latest and greatest, and it was known that AMD is hosting a press conference. However, we now seem to have confirmation that new products of some sort will be shown. Honestly, the timing seems right for AMD on all fronts. They could realistically show off Vega "totally not nano" Nano, Vega 7nm, Threadripper 2, and the new APUs that were leaked. Of course there could be something out of left field too. I am personally hoping to see vega 7nm the most, because it's laying the ground work for Navi, and shows what kinds of gains we can expect to see at the node level. Nvidia does not yet have a 7nm gpu.

In June I will be completely replacing my old desktop which uses 2012 / 2013 era computer hardware (Intel i5 3570 / Radeon R9 270X / G Skill DDR3-1600mhz / Windows 10 / Samsung 840 Evo 120GB / Seagate Barracuda 2TB 7200RPM). Just wanted to ask the community about the Bitfenix Enso Case that was announced at Computex 2017. I really look forward to hear the opinion of the tech community, I personally really like it. There is still not much information about it, but thats what i found on the internet: Price: about 80$ Adressable RGB (Asus Aura compatible) Tempered Glass Side Panel 3 magnetic dust filters (up and front and bottom) Cover for PSU (cable management) Space for a dual radiator at the front It will release in Q3 or Q4 of this year. Hey guys, I bet y'all've been watching the Computex coverage, right? Well, after thinking about how this whole threadripper design looks, i propose a theory: Threadripper is 2 standard ryzen CPUs in some form of Crossfire-ish tandem thingy. Just look at the socket. Also, it has 2 8-pin EPS connectors. And finally, it has a TDP of like 380 watts or something. No CPU draws that much. Unless, it's not one CPU. However, we will have to wait until someone actually obtains and delids one, but I thought this would be a fun thing to bring up. Thanks for reading y'all, Ivan

Built-in 10 GBit LAN on the back, all the PCIe 3.0 X16 slots, 3 M.2 slots all of which are full PCIe 3.0 4x slots, and of course all the RGB. Others are also on their merry way, including the X299 Taichi. Next, the very impressive and super puny but oh my god powerful X299E-ITX/AC. ITX X299 board, 4 SO-DIMM DDR4 slots, wireless AC WiFi, 2 gigabit Intel LAN ports, 3 (yes, 3) M.2 PCIe 3.0 x4 slots, the lot. Oh, and the socket itself is about 1/4th the size of the entire flippin' board. On to something else that's ridiculous: the H110 Pro BTC+. An H110 board solely for mining bitcoin with PCIe 3.0 1x cards. This has 12 of them (alongside a full sized X16 slot). Finally here's the first of 2 AM4 ITX boards. This one is the Fatal1ty X370 Gaming-ITX/ac. AC WiFi, (what seems like) a 6-phase power setup, Dual HDMI ports, Intel Gigabit LAN, the lot, an M.2 slot on the back. The other one is pretty much the same (as far as I can tell from the press release), but with the B350 chipset (and logically a lesser VRM setup as we've seen with all other B350 boards, big or small). So yeah. Maybe there's more to come, but at least I'm exited about AM4 on ITX. But have to say, that X299 ITX board is impressive as fuck. No word so far on AMD's X399 platform. Maybe later, or maybe it'll be an entirely separate event later in June/July. -
Both AMD and Nvidia are doing a livestream at Computex. Nvidia is on May 29, 2017 at 8:30PM PST. AMD is on May 30, 2017 at 9PM CT. Note that Taiwan is 1 day ahead.

Rumor has been going around that Intel's next gen enthusiast platform, has been moved up a few months and would be making its debut in June, instead of August. The new platform runs on socket 2066 with support for both enthusiast grade skylake x and kabylake x processors, with Kabylake x at 4 cores with 16 gen 3 lanes and skylake x at 6 cores and up, but no info on the amount of gen 3 lanes they will have. Computex starts on May 31 and end on June 3, so we might see some X299 boards during these times. One possible reason, Intel has pushed the launch, could be the possibility of AMD Ryzen's enthusiast platform based on their X390 chipset, but some have said that leaked AMD X390 image, is a mock up done by some random person. Since I'm owner of FW900 I'm pretty excited by this picture, but I'm not sure if it's really a feature of this model or just a mistake on their prototype. Can someone at computex/with contacts ask Inno3D few questions regarding this matter?

New Acer Predator X34P spotted at Computex. Specs indicate a 34 Inch 21:9 (3440 x 1440) IPS display with a curvature of 1900R, has NVIDIA G-Sync and runs at 100 Hz native refresh rate. AMD gives some details on their Polaris architecture. They announced that they are trying to support VR markets by releasing GPUs between the $100-300 dollar market. They are following up on trying to make VR for everyone. They are trying to reach VR to 100 million people in the next few years. For this, they announced the Polaris architecture. This was the Radeon RX 480. It seems to use the old referance design with the new Radeon logo. They confirmed it will cost $199 USD. They also say it is built like a $500 card. There is over 5 Teraflops, 36 CUs, 256gb memory bandwidth, 4/8 GB GDDR5, 256 but rate, 150w, HDMI 2.0 and DP 1.4 1.7x performance/watt with 14nm, and 2.8 with AMD technologies. Radeon software will use DX12, Vulkan, GPUOpen, and Crimson. It will have FreeSync, DX12 Async, and Multi-GPU support. It was said to run DOOM "Buttery smooth" and the video suggest it being able to run Ultra at 60fps. They also said in the video they said Polaris will have exclusive features. They said Ashes of singularity DX12 would run 58.7fps on a GTX 1080 and 2 480's would run at 62.5 fps at below $500 with the 1080 at $700 and the 480's are running at 51% and the 1080 at 98.7. They said it would be a huge performance boost for PC gaming and VR. So Polaris is much more then we expected. What do you guys think? Thanks! I think this is an amazing boost and I am extremely excited for AMD. They have a huge boost over Nvidia this gen and it's going to be amazing for them. #TeamRed. This is super important as this could effect everything Nvidia and AMD comes out with for a while! Edit: They are also feature Zen now so here are details on it. It is said to have high efficiency and has been worked on for ages. The CPU will be called Summit Ridge. Zen will have 40% IPC improvement with 8c/16 and AM4. This will be their mainstream desktop processor. Zen will also be scaled across multiple markets including Server, Notebook, and Embedded. Zen will be sampled in the next few weeks. Zen will be combined with Zen and forward GPU architectures. They say they are very confident in it and if the mainstream desktop is 8c/16t what is their high end? So in total, they have show RX GPU's, 7th gen APUs and ZEN. They have said Zen is going confidently hopefully meaning that with what they have said, it should be meeting or beating our expectations.
