Hi, Recently i have started to use my Nexus 9 again and i seem to have problems with its charging. For some reason i can only charge when the tablet is turned off. When its on it has recognised that it is connected to a charger but it does not charge. I can see the battery life slowly going down when it says its connected. I currently haven't used it for about two years but wanted to switch back to android. Hoping any of you can help me out Many thanks

I brought this headset not that long ago and worked fine up until recently. When I put it on charge the red light will come on but it doesn't go green and i left it on charge all night, but when i turned it on it flashed then turned back off. It just keeps on doing this and i don't know how to fix this.

I have a strange problem with the battery in the HP Pavilion dv6500 laptop. Some days ago I got dv6700 with a damaged BGA so that I could descrew for fun. I noticed that there is a battery in it. So I put it into my DV6500. And here the problems began. Under linux, I normally charged it to around 70%. The next day, when I turned on the laptop, I had only 12%, where after a while there was an alert about low battery status. Now, when I started to test the battery under Windows, it loads very long and very strange. The program for monitoring the battery status says that the battery "disconnects" from charging every minute and starts charging again. Currently, about 7% charged for an hour and I do not know what may be the reason for such a slow charging. In addition, the same program claims that the battery has not been charged (battery cycle). I am adding 2 information screens, maybe it will give something. (battery is original)

Hey, so to start I have had my blade for a while and I love it, the biggest problem I have had is it's terrible battery life. I can pull 4 hours if I only have like one tab of edge open. Its ridiculous. So I wanted a portable battery bank to charge it. But the razer power bank is only 12,000 mah and its $140. So I have been looking for other options, I found the imuto power bank: (I chose this one because it was light, I know I could find a heavier more powerful one.) https://www.amazon.com/20100mah-Portable-Delivery-External-Type-C/dp/B075NXR2T4 it has power delivery 2.0 at 20v 2.25 amps (45 watts) which is what the blade runs at. I have also bought a compatible usb type c cable with power delivery: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0756QGTVQ/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 but when I plug it in I hear the usb sound like when you plug in a flash drive. How do I solve this? I have checked and the battery bank charges my phone over usb type a and a Nintendo switch over type C. Does razer have a proprietary control over what power bank you can use? Is there a fix so that I can use this power bank? I have not seen a lot of threads about the stealth and power banks, so I feel like I'm treading in new territory.

Is there a way to decrease charger effectiveness? My charger gets really hot, and my computer charges very quickly. I don't want the charger to break though, is there any way to manually make it less effective and in the process less hot?

Alright, I'll have to admit that maybe I was a bit cheap and purchased third party batteries for my camera body. I now have several questions about the batteries and my minor concerns. Firstly, is it detrimental to the health to the battery if I charge it even though it is 75% full? Thats because that battery is my only LP-E6N battery I have with the other two being LP-E6 variants. Since I have quite the event to photograph tomorrow, I don't really want to rely on a 3/4 full primary battery as the other two are jokes. Also, are LP-E6 batteries really compatible with the newer generation EOS 80Ds? I've read many forums where people have said that they are but personally the batteries dont even last close to half as long as the N variants. I managed to get 350 images with a (third party) LP-E6, however I am up to 600 with the (genuine) LP-E6N and as mentioned earlier, I've managed to carve through only 25% leaving 75% battery capacity. It seems that other prople have had quite positive experiences with thrid party LP-E6 batteries so I'm trying to determine if the battery or body is at fault. (I used an optically stabilised lens with the LP-E6N, but I used a non IS lens with the third party to try to get them to last)

Hi, I have ASUS X550C Laptop and I plugged wrong powersupply to it. There was a strange noise but the laptop was working fine untill the battery was empty. Now my laptop is dead. I can't charge the battery and it doesn't work when connected without it. Do you know what components I need to replace if the laptop was working fine but it doesn't charge. There wasn't any burning smell or colour change on the cable or on the laptop. Thanks

My phone charged really slowly. I changed the cabel and that fixed the problem. Can the cabel be demage even if it doesn't look like it on the outside? If so, what may have caused this? Is the wall-adapter demageing the cabel?

So I need a new USB-C charging cabel to use with my LG G6. Shulde I buy one that is 20awg or 22awg? What is the difference between different cabels?

Hi everyone, just wondering if anyone knows where I could buy a USB charging hub with four USB Type-C ports? I don't need it for data, just charging. 3A ports would be great. The best thing I have found at the moment are ones with 3 or 4 USB type-A and 1 USB type-C. Will be used for mobile phones primarily. Cheers.

So! I need help if what he's saying is true or not the laptop is an old Lenovo here are the specs Model : Lenovo G4070 59439341 Processor : Intel Core i3-4005U Processor (3M Cache, 1.70 GHz) Operating System : Windows 8.1 Graphics : Intel HD Graphics 4400 Memory : 2GB Webcam : 720p / 0.3M Storage : 500GB Optical Drive : DVD Recordable Audio : Dolby® Advanced Audio™ v2 Battery : 4Cell Display : 14-inch HD (1366 x 768) Display Dimensions (W x D x H) : 15.11" x 10.4" x 0.98" Weight : 4.6 lbs. Bluetooth : Bluetooth® 4.0, 802.11 b/g/n Connectors : 1 x USB 3.0 2 x USB 2.0 Audio Combo Jack (headphone and mic) HDMI-out 2-in-1 (SD / MMC) card reader So what is troubling me is that I'm going to buy this second hand because I don't have money for a new one and it's going to cost me 120$ in my country, the issue is the laptop can turn on only if the charge is connected it isn't a battery issue / charger issue he said it is a driver issue when he updated his OS it won't charge anymore so thoughts? prayers? suggestions? I really need a laptop to code in school so Yeah.

Hello guys, So a while back I got this generic power bank when I got gifted clothes. I know it to get hot while charging and it hasn't been worrying me but I just now noticed something else. When my power bank is about to die and my phone is below 90% (trickle charging point I believe), it get really really hot. Usually it gets fairly warm but right when it's about to go flat it gets a lot hotter, is this normal? If it's a red flag to stop using that thing let me know please I'll be grateful Thanks

Hi, First post in this forum. I thought I'd share my experience with the VOLTA Cross-device Magnetic Cable after watching the Handy tech under $100 video, unfortunately, it's not super positive. I purchased 1x 2m Gold Charing cable with two Lightning tips $26USD and an extra 1x 2m Gold Charging cable as an extra $17USD. Totalling $43USD with $6.99USD shipping to Australia. A grand total of $49.99 or $66.95AUD. Shipping was somewhat slow, 4 business days to dispatch, then 6 more business day to arrive. Ordered on the 9th October received on the 23rd October to Australia. I was expecting pretty high-quality cables, but haven't had an amazing experience. One cables magnet pulled out within the first 6 hours of receiving it (photo's below), which I was really disappointed by. I emailed volta, that took a while to get back and offered me a new cable and 2x extra tips if I paid to ship (Coupon came to a difference of $10.99USD instead of $6.99USD, but I accepted it as they were quite slow to respond). Days before I've received the new cable I've noticed a splitting end on my second cable (Photo's below), I've today emailed them telling them about the issue, and might send them to the link of this post. Overall the cable quality isn't there I would say, they've been really run off their feet and are having issues with packaging and customer service lead times (The updated customers in an email this week). I like the design of the cable and find it quite handy, but I wouldn't recommend myself at this stage. -------------------------------------------------- Update on the 1st December******* Victor from Volta contacted me on the 24th November and replaced my two cables IN PERSON! It turns out he lives in my local city within a 10-minute drive (Southport, Queensland). He apologised that the glue wasn't sufficient and said they are working hard to rectify the issues.

I purchased a MSI GS63VR during Amazon Prime day this summer and it's been great until about two weeks ago. Long story short, I have noticed that the laptop randomly "disconnects" from the adapter when the adapter is still completely plugged in. This started as rather infrequent in occurrence, but that quickly changed. Fast forward to the last 3 days, the computer has been a nightmare to deal with. I now have to situate the cord in such a way so that the laptop recognizes it and charges. Any bump at all and that connection is lost. I have tried to find different methods for a temp fix, such as propping the cord or having some simple tape hold it in place. However, even that no longer works. I few things I have noticed are:* The port seems loose. When I plug it in, I can move it up and down - when I lift the adapter up the connection is recognized and when I lower it down the connection is lost* The adapter and the charging port get VERY hot - which makes me believe that there is a bad connection some how between the two, which is causing an increase in the resistance in the connection and that creates more heat. * No visible damage is present on either the port or the cord throughout - again, it's only a semester old and I take good care of my devices. This leads me to believe that the problem does not lie in the cord but in the motherboard D/C female port. This has somehow become loose and no longer charges properly. The port looks something like the following: http://www.dcincable.com/msi-ms1757-ge702oc20c-ge702od20d-ge702oe20e-series-power-jack-connector-charging-plug-port-dc-in-cable-input-harness-wire-p-6389.html I am asking if this hypothesis is correct and what I can have done about it. It is still under warranty, so I will very likely have them do it, but they say that it will take upwards of a month before I get my computer back. As a college student, this is worrisome with classes resuming in 3-ish weeks. Also, would it be possible to request them fix multiple other minor issues when I send it in (the plastic clips holding the laptop back exhaust plate are nearly completely broken off and it can fall off with a simple lift with the finger.) Thanks,

Hi, my x550jx has recently stopped accepting a charge. When I plug in the power it works for around 15 seconds and then stops. Windows says "Plugged and charging" but it doesn't.I also check in HWmontitor and I can see that the mWh has stopped going up. First, I thought it was some kind of wired thing then I play demanding games that it stopped charging. So I tested to plug in the power and ran a benchmark and it stopped charging after a while, I stopped the benchmark and plugged it in again then this problem occurred. Saw this yesterday and I started digging for some answers to the only thing I got was, Try another outlet, another charger, try leaving it charging for a while. I shut down the laptop and got to bed. woke up and the led that indicating if the laptop is charging is blinking orange and before it was solid orange. And throw the Asus manual it says that its blinking orange when the battery is under 10% which doesn't make any sense. When I booted the laptop it had 91% charge after 4 hours I started the charge with 91%.My English isn't the greatest so please contact me if anything is unreadable Thanks.

Several days ago i was outside and my S8 got rained on.. for the next hour anytime i plugged it in it just said "water in charging port, please unplug." Blowing it out and leaving it unplugged for a night seemed to work until now. about 30 minutes ago i plugged it in at 1% and stayed that way for 15 minutes before dieing. now if i plug it in it just does this: I leave to houston tomorrow and don't own a wireless charger:

so here is how to things sit. I have a dedicated power plan (image) and every time when the fans stop on my laptop this weird hum that transforms into a scratchy noise comes out of the exhaust (it only has one which is on the side, it's one of those Asus radiators and channels laptop). The noise kinda resembles the electric noise you hear in old cartoons when a character gets electrocuted. What could it be? The aging battery (900+ cycles) or the GPU or CPU that s announcing it's death? I can provide any additional information if needed P.S when in "Sleep Mode" or charging but closed/"Shut Down" it actually makes a wine like noise

http://www.mi.com/in/pb10000/ I recently bought this power bank. Will charging it with a phone charger (in this case xiaomi redmi note 4g charger 5V 2.1A) lower its life expectancy. I see it has input overvoltage protection but i am still skeptic, because the last non quality powerbank died because i charged it over the wall socket. 1.bmp

So I was looking for laptops that could survive more than 6 hours on battery. I didnt find one with good enough specs under 1000€. I saw those Laptop power banks, but those cost around 100€ for a power bank of a 20000 mAh to 30000 mAh charge. Do you guys think it is worth it? If you have one, how much charge can it deliver for your laptop? And yes I could haul my power brick with me all the time, but thats not elegant and I would need to deal with the damn cables every time I pack it up. You guys have other suggestions? Thank you to everyone who replies!

Lately when I charge my *edit- Nexus 5* phone overnight (daydream turned off) my screen burns in and looks horrible in the morning (practically unusable). The screen is off and it still burns in Anyone know why this might be happening?

Hello everybody, I have some weird issue with my 10,000mAh power bank's 2.1A output. My tiny 2,000mAh power bank can charge my tablet with 1A (it's quite fast and the bat gets considerably hot), but the larger bank's 2.1A port charges it slower or the tablet is discharging while I use it. The little one is some rebranded one, which I got as promotional gift and the large one is Adata PV150. I have tried different cables, but with the same result. I think the Adata has its battery in good state, because it's new and I didn't notice capacity issues. Only the slowness is killing me If it matters, the tablet is a really basic Windows tablet, which came with a 2A charger, that works OK and I don't think it has some special wiring.

Hi everyone, I'm new to the LTT forums but I'm not new to their videos. I'm also relatively new to posting on forums so if I've made a mistake somewhere or if you'd like to tell me the norms of a forum (specifically this one) please tell me! So I have a Toshiba Satellite laptop, it's about two years old, and yesterday when I unplugged the computer, from "100% available", and web browsed for about 5 minutes the laptop shut off immediately without warning and the battery/charging light was blinking orange. I plugged the laptop back in and turned it on. It booted up and everything was fine (the battery indicated "6% available (plugged in, charging)") and I left it plugged in and I finished my work. However, after about a couple of hours the battery still indicated "6% available (plugged in, charging)". The issue is that Windows 10 tells me it's charging when it really isn't. I looked up solutions online and here is what I've tried so far: 1. Leave it plugged in overnight (still "6% available (plugged in, charging)") Early afternoon the battery indicated "3% available (plugged in, charging)" and later in the night it indicated "0% available (plugged in, charging)" 2. Disconnected the battery, cleaned the contacts, tried again 3. Disconnected the battery, unplugged all chords, pressed and held power button for 30 seconds (I guess to discharge the capacitors?) 4. Deleted the battery charging driver (that thing) in device manager, reinstalled it At this point I'm thinking the battery is faulty but I just want to make sure since I've never really had this problem before and I don't want to drop about $75 on a new battery. Also it may be important to note that I've had this laptop plugged in for about 3/4 or 2/3 of a year now. I don't move it around a lot but I'd still like the option to do so. If you have any suggestions or explanations as to why this happened it would be greatly appreciated!
