  1. Hallo. Im getting hopeless... my pc is giveing me many bsod.. Pc is to fast te get the fault code.. but once i had it.. Yesterday i upgraded to win11 mayby it was that but no now it happends every hour 2 or 3 times... Its not only under load. Also when its at idle... I have no idea what i did before this started Only thing what i ever did what i just rememberd that i down graded nvidia drivers. ( idk why anymore) rn everything is up to date Pc specs Aorus Z390 gaming wifi I7 9700k @5.1 16 gb 3600mhz aorus Rtx 3060TI ( @ 2100mhz) 2x samsung evo pro 2tb & 1tb m.2 Samsung evo 1tb ssd Hyberx 250gb ssd(backup only) Coolermaster 750w psu Gold Its not a overheating problem my ncxt kraken x64 cools my cpu goos. ( max I ever seen 55/60° Gpu not going over 60° Playing on a 34 inch ultra wide 1440p 165hz monitor with a second 27inch 1080p also 165 hz
  2. SOLUTION: I ended up replacing the RAM and it works fine now. I just build a new PC and randomly get a bsod with MEMORY_MANAGEMENT. I have a MSI Pro Z790S with an i7-13700K and Corsair Vengeance 2 * 32GB DDR5 5600 ram. I have tried tweaking some settings in the bios (like turning off XMP, using MSI's Memory Try it!, changing voltages, speeds...) with no luck Here is the Minidump: Minidump.zip
  3. Hey! For a few years now I've been having random BSODs on my PC, and recently I've decided to change some parts of the PC to check what could be the issue. The usuals BSODs I have are: -IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL (ntoskrnel.exe) -HYPERVISOR ERROR -PAGE FAULT IN NONPAGED AREA Clean reinstalled W10 few times and still having issues. Updated to W11 and still having those. Recently, apart from the BSODs, every game I play crashes without an error code, usually when playing around 10 minutes or so. I bought new RAM yesterday to see if that was the issue (even tho I ran a memtest on the old RAM and passed the tests). If it helps, my CPU (Ryzen 5 3600) had a few pins bent when my dad was trying to install it, but he straightened them all and I've been working with that CPU since then. What could be the issue for all of this? I'm really fed up with this problem. EDIT1: https://www.mediafire.com/file/738k8eaq81zaj63/Minidump.zip/file Minidump (just reinstalled W10 one hour ago, only had 1 BSOD since then)
  4. (Sorry for the bad english it’s not my first language) I recently upgraded my system massively to this: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Yodaking8549/saved/#view=WghTmG and I reinstalled Windows (10). I got a Bluescreen saying MEMORY_MANAGEMENT during the install. The PC started again and went on to finish installing windows. After that I had no issues for about a week. Then (only sometimes not all the time) the PC bluescreened with the same error code (After a restart everything worked fine tho). Another week passes and I get the bluescreen while starting. Then windows automatic repair pops up and says windows couldn’t repair your PC. I went through all the troubleshooting options but nothing worked. So I decided to reinstall once again, this time windows 11. The same issues occur in the same time frame. After I got to windows automatic repair once again I ran command line and tried sfc /scannow and was met with „windows found corrupt files but could not fix them“. I thought it may be the new 980 pro that is broken so I reinstalled once again and ran the extended test in Samsung magician. No bad cells. I’m so confused in what my problem could be and how to fix it. If anyone has any ideas PLEASE let me know. Thanks in advance
  5. Basically my computer was running fine for awhile and now I get Clock Watchdog Timeout / BSOD errors more and more fequently. From playing games my computer would close the game almost like ALT-F4 and go directly to desktop. Or more intense games it would lock up the computer and then crash to Clock Watchdog Timeout / BSOD, where it trys to run the percentage but stops at 43% then I have to force a restart. It got so bad to the point when downloading games on Steam could cause a crash. I have reinstalled Windows 10 Version 22H2, reinstalled latest drivers, did a Chkdsk on CDRIVE /Windows, run a memtest86 which all ram sticks have passed, Running anything like prime95, passmark, 3dmark, cinebench, will run for a few seconds then I get a Clock Watchdog Timeout Here are my specs: Power Supply: Corsair RMx 1000W Motherboard: Asus ROG STRIX Z690-E GAMING WIFI ATX LGA1700 Ram: Corsair Dominator Platinum RGB 64 GB (4 x 16 GB) DDR5-6200 CL36 Memory Graphics Card: EVGA - GeForce RTX 3090 Ti 24GB FTW 3 Cpu: Intel Core i9-12900KS 3.4 GHz 16-Core Processor Cpu Cooler: Noctua NH-U9S 46.4 CFM Everything on my motherboard is at Auto, I never changed anything to OC GPU or CPU, I have updated to the latest bios and now I have removed the CMOS battery and running the test again but still crashes.. XMP is disabled aswell. Bios Version: 2.21.1278 Does anyone have any ideas?
  6. Specs: CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 GPU: Palit GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER Dual NE6206S018P2-1160A 8GB GDDR6 256-bit PCI-E 3.0 Desktop Graphics Card Mobo: Gigabyte B550 AORUS ELITE AMD B550 Ryzen Socket AM4 ATX Desktop Motherboard PSU: Super Flower SF-650F14HG(BK) Leadex III Gold 650W 80 Plus Gold Fully Modular Black Desktop Power Supply RAM: G.Skill F4-3200C16D-16GVKB Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4-3200MHz CL16 1.35V Black Desktop Memory OS: Windows 10 Pro I got this all new about three years ago. Problem: For the last two or three graphics driver updates (via GeForce Experience), the screen goes black (as usual) but then I can hear something changes with the fans and then after waiting a while I get a BSOD (see attached image). I have no idea what causes it. It is only when I update my drivers that it does this. The only other weird behaviour that I see with my PC is sometimes after I close Path of Exile my computer often lags a lot and is super slow. That may resolve itself eventually but usually I shut the computer down then. Any idea what could be the issue? Should I be worrying about my hardware? Should I reinstall windows?
  7. I was recently gifted a Ryzen 5 3600 by my cousin when he was upgrading. It worked fine in his pc with a 1660 super but when I swapped it with the 1600 in my computer it randomly gives me a BSOD with event viewer saying "The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly." I've tried disabling XMP, resizable bar, and reinstalling Windows. I have a 6700xt which works fine with my 1600 but apparently not this proccesor. I should add that I had to reset the TPM when installing the 3600 and the BSODs happen more commonly when running intense games but also weirdly when only watching YouTube. I have attached photos of my system and of the BSOD.
  8. Recently I've started getting random bluescreens and sometimes my screen freezes and I cant do anything unless I restart my pc. I've had problems like this in the past and it somehow solved itself because I have no idea why they stop happening. Last time I reinstalled my windows from a USB drive and it worked but this time it doesn't seem to help. I've tried reinstalling windows, reinstalling drivers, reseating my RAM and GPU, running memtest 86 free version because I can't pay for 4 passes and no errors found. Also reset bios settings to default and I can't remember if I did anything else other than that. BSoD's I get are: IRQL not less or equal System service exception Attempted write to read only memory System thread exception System thread exception not handled Exception on invalid stack. So from these u can see that there are many different BSOD's that I get and I don't know what causes them. Specs: Amd ryzen 3 2200g AMD rx 460 8gb ram GEIL one stick These are my minidump files https://files.catbox.moe/9vdl9m.zip Thanks for help!
  9. Hello people, It seems I've stumbled into some unknown issue with my graphics card that is very difficult to diagnose. I've had an EVGA RTX 2080 Ti SC since March 2020, and it has worked flawlessly up until now. Two days ago i got a sudden crash playing Apex Legends, which has since then continued to crash my PC in multiple scenarios. What I've experienced 1. PC does not crash in windows, or in any non-game applications. 2. PC crashes during gameplay or while starting a game, i have tested many different games and the same goes for all of them. 3. Game crashes during gameplay, but PC does not crash. For example Apex Legends has given 2 similar errors: DXGI_DEVICE_ERROR_RESET and DXGI_DEVICE_ERROR_HUNG. 4. PC will crash during regular use, however, ONLY after i have experienced a BSOD crash from any game. It's like there are issues that reverberate after a BSOD crash that affects everything, even regular use. (only happens irregularly) What I've tested 1. different displayport cable 2. different displayport port 3. different pci-e slot 4. different pci-e cable 5. DDU driver uninstall and reinstall 6. Nvidia debug mode 7. Plug in gpu into entirely different PC (same crash happens) 8. Use my old GTX 980 (this works, no crashes at all) There are no thermal issues at all with the card as far as i can tell. The latest driver 537.42 was released 2023-09-21, which is more than 10 days before the crash. I can't wrap my head around why this would happen all of a sudden, I'd love to get some insight or feedback on how to further diagnose this. Unfortunately the card is 7 months past it's 3 year warranty period. I have spoken to EVGA and they can't provide me an RMA case for this.
  10. Hey, I've posted in the Troubleshooting forum but i realized this might be a more fitting sub-forum. For two days I've been trying to troubleshoot sudden BSOD crashes on my PC. This has never happened on the system before, with exceptions for some corrupt drivers that have been fixed occasionally. What I've experienced 1. PC crashes under high GPU load, anything from 10 seconds to 10 minutes. 2. Application crashes under high GPU load (games, benchmarks etc.) 3. PC does not crash at all during regular use (low GPU load) What I've tested 1. Different PCI-e slot 2. Different Displayport output 3. Different Displayport port on GPU 4. Different Displayport cable 5. Complete driver wipe with DDU 6. Nvidia debug mode 7. Entirely different PC with same GPU 8. Use my old GTX 980 (this works) This is what the crashes look like See attached GPU-Z Log Perflog Dxdiag System File Collection https://drive.google.com/file/d/1k4AVHoDlp7WiEk8x2yuIEI7ixLrG4Xi0/view?usp=sharing System specs Intel Core i7-4790K EVGA RTX 2080 Ti SC ASUS Z97 Maximus VII Ranger Corsair Dominator Platinum DDR3 16GB (4x4) Corsair HX850i 80+ Platinum Corsair LX256GB SSD Seagate Barracuda 2TB (Corsair H105i CPU Cooler) Original OS: Windows 7 64-bit Current OS: Windows 11 64-bit Build date: 2015, upgraded GPU March 2020 The latest Nvidia driver 537.42 was released 2023-09-21, which is more than 10 days before the crash. The GPU is 7 months past its warranty period and unfortunately EVGA is not willing to create an RMA case for me. Any help is appreciated as it would cost me a small fortune to replace the card. EDIT 1 Disassembled the card to see if there is any visible damage to the PCB components. I don't see anything out of the ordinary, however, I'm far from an expert. Maybe these images will help. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1pmfAqHoLagHkshYf-FMS4iS4ZpjiWFJq?usp=sharing DxDiag.txt GPUZ Sensor Log.xlsx GPU-Z Sensor Log.txt report.html
  11. Hi all, Just installed the 2.01 update for Cybperunk 2077 on Steam, and when I go to run it, it gives me a BSOD. The PC then restarts and shows me the American Megatrends screen and tells me that the CPU overheated. I've tried starting the game multiple times and even tried turning up my fan speed. I've also checked my CPU temp as I'm loading into Cyberpunk, and it's ~90C. 12. Computer worked fine from june, when i built it, until the beginning of this month when my computer had a WATCHDOG_CLOCK_TIMEOUT blue screen. I looked it up and thought whatever, it's just a random blue screen. Until it happened again and again. I tried updating my drivers and windows, i tried to boot directly into WBM instead of grub and then WBM and then it was fine up untill 2 days ago when it blue screened again and then last night. Last night I restarted my computer and opened a game, then it blue screened, i turned my computer off and back on, instant blue screen didn't even get to the lock screen, turn it back on and it starts hanging on the windows loading, i switch to my linux drive and that crashes in the same way (keep in mind that's on a separate drive not just partition). As of right now it won't even get close to booting, I turn it on and the power indicator light just flashes, no post and no bios access, I've tried almost everything in the no POST guide that's stickied. I've also tried reseating the CPU and replacing the thermal paste before putting the cooler back on, still no luck. 15. I have a 2020 Nitro 5 that black screens in a few hours of use or gets the driver_power_state_failure. I checked the two dmp files that I have and found ntoskrnl.exe failing using BlueScreenViewer after that I ran SFC scan on command prompt after that it said it found the problem and said it was repaired. The next day it still did the same thing same errors. I couldn't find out what I needed to look for in the dmp files to find which error to fix so I'm now here asking for the community's's help since Im not good with BSODs and such . https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1ZMJqPWSkKw29evHrWbtDZEokhJY0ruMs?usp=drive_link Event Viewer.txt
  16. The laptop came with win 7 but then my friend upgraded it to 8.1 pro and it worked fine for 5+ years yesterday I was trying to make ms store work again and it leads to turning on the windows update. After the shutdown and now I opened it and it won't work .BUT THE WEIRD thing is this only affects the windows fast mode (in os selection which was my default os) I can still use 8.1 os normally but it blue screens frequently while playing games (an old issue which the fast mode didnt have ) .Can anyone help me fix this (CHECK THE PICTURE BELOW)
  17. For the past few months I have had multiple issues with my computer crashing and having BSODs. I have gone in depth about it if anyone cares to check the WinDbg analysis of the dump files. While playing Black Mesa, my computer crashed again, and when I turned it on, it went straight to the BIOS, as it failed to detect the primary NVME SSD where Windows was installed. On my previous post about my BSOD issues, many users pointed to the fact that the crashes were pointing to an issue related to the NVME drive (though they said it could have been caused by the motherboard too). Now my computer stopped detecting my SSD, and I have no way of accessing my data. I wanted to test if it was an issue with the NVME slot or the drive itself, but I don't have a spare motherboard to test my NVME drive, and my current motherboard only has one slot. The drive is being detected on this current install of windows under Local Disk (E:), however, I can only access it by formatting it. Is there any possibility for me to test whether or not my SSD still works and if my data is retrievable?
  18. So I try to install windows on this PC Asus x570 tuf plus Ryzen 9 3900X 32GB (4*8) Gskill trident Z RGB 3200 cl14 RX 5700 XT nitro+ Sabrent rocket 1TB nvme I do this over USB 3.2 using a 32GB kingstone flash drive that works perfectly fine and I used the official microsoft media creation tool Motherboard sees the nvm drive just fine (before that on the same computer I had a windows installation already running on an SSD and I could browse the nvme and transfere files to it without issue) passes all the test... I trid setting compatibility mode from auto to gen3 I trid disabling the AMI nvme support. MoBo is up to date. I tried stripping off everything (only 1 8gb ram stick no other devices or SSD/HDDs connected only the graphics card) What happens is that on "where do you want to install windows" window I can see the nvme I delete all the partitions (from previous failed install attempts) I create a new disk (and windows makes its own small partitions) then I format the main bulk of the disk then I click next.. On the first installation window (image not from my computer just for reference) The "copying windows files" procedure happens instantly ok the flash drive is fast the usb 3.2 connection is fast the nvme is fast but I mean really it takes 0 to 2 seconds max I doubt it could have really copy that from the flash drive that fast.. the the "getting files ready for installation " part takes reasonable time.. then everything seems to finish fine and a pop up window tells me that the pc is going to restart in 10 seconds or so... pc restarts windows logo .. "preparing things for you or what not" 10% --> 40%---> 80% boom BSOD with error code bugcode_ndis_driver !! its like the 7th time I try stuff and nothing works.. the worst part is that the computer parts are brand new and that a couple of hours ago windows (on the other ssd I initially had as main one) worked fine with no issues what so ever!!!! Please tell me that you have a hinch on whats going on here because I am tired worked all day and now I have to face this P.S I also tried to install windows by clicking "I dont have a product key" incase it conflicts somehow because the mobo used to have a windows license ssd installed
  19. For the past few months I've had an issue where my PC just refuses to go to sleep. I've been troubleshooting this issue since it started, I've exhausted all the fixes and troubleshooting I could find and It's still not fixed. The last thing I tried was a clean boot, and while it seemed to work initially and I could put the PC to sleep, it failed to sleep the second time I tried and since then Sleep has worked, so it's spotty at best. I've also had a few instances where when I try to just shutdown the PC it does the same thing as putting to sleep. Other than the issues sleeping and occasional shutdown, my PC runs perfectly. I can work, game, watch videos etc. with no issues, BSODs or stutters. I'm near the point of just reinstalling Windows, but as the Repair install and clean boot didn't fix the issue, I'm beginning to worry it's Hardware related, not Software. I'm really hoping someone can shed some light or maybe guide me in the right direction. An Update: I just switched all my startup programs back on and tried to restart my PC to apply the changes and it actually froze restarting and since it was restarting the monitors stayed on and I DID get a BSOD. The Stop Code was Driver Power State Failure. My PC Specs: Optiplex 9020 BIOS Version A25 4x4 RAM i7 4790 Non-K Zotac 1070 ti Mini EVGA 750w 80 Plus Gold The Symptoms: When trying to put PC to sleep the monitors will stop receiving signal properly, the secondary HDD spins down, the screens turn off completely, but the fans for the CPU/case/GPU remain spinning and the SSD/HDD activity light continues to flicker as if it's trying to process something. Eventually after about 5 minutes the fans will start to kick up a bit faster, the HDD will audibly spin back up and then after a few seconds the PC just turns off instead of sleeping. It has actually done this a few times when simply trying to do a regular shutdown as well. No blue screen or anything. Each time this happens I get an Event viewer Kernel-Power ID 41 as well as an Error 6008. Most recently I've been receiving an event error 2545 and today several nvlddmkm ID 0. Though the later seems unrelated as the issue has been around longer than that event. I've also just today had an issue where when trying to enter Safe Mode, the PC shuts itself down right before I can select a Safe Mode option. 20. I could really use some advice here. I recently installed new RAM into my PC and started having issues. After multiple BSODs, I removed the new RAM, completely cleaned my PC, and reseated my old RAM. Everything seemed to be fine until I encountered another, very quick, BSOD stop code: WHEA UNCORRECTABLE ERROR. Then, my PC shut down completely and since then I haven't been able to boot it past the BIOS access screen. I cannot access my dump files, I cannot get the PC to boot in safe mode. I have checked all my wired connections, reseated my RAM, reset my BIOS to default, and even tried completely different and compatible sticks of RAM. Do I need to boot it using a Windows 10 boot usb just to get into WinRE? I'm at a loss, any and all advice would be helpful. 21. Hello all, might be a bit of a long one here since there are a lot of details. I have included a link to a google drive that has all pictures relevant to this. I have been experiencing a blue screening issue over the past 6 or so months with my gaming pc. While playing some games, most recently the new Madden Football 24 the pc crashes and the BSOD pops up with Whea_Uncorrectable error. It says it is collecting some info to develop a report and then I can restart my pc. The thing is the progress of the info collection does not go above 0%, I have left it for multiple hours numerous times and the progress does not go above 0% because of this I have no crash reports from it because it never actually collects the info. If need be I can let it sit longer and see if the progress goes above 0% if need be. I have attached all of the minidumps I have in the google drive though just incase there is something in there that can be used to help me. All the research I've done says it is a hardware issue and might have to replace a part but I want to know what part it is which I cant seem to figure that out, or if it has something to do with a digitally fix instead of physically replacing a part, Another interesting little "quirk" of my issue is that the crash results in the regular BSOD but sometimes the game will just freeze and the game will still show but a tiny blue rectangle appears in the bottom right corner of the screen. The weird thing is that it doesn't BSOD in all games. The new Madden 24 BSODs pretty much every time I play, same with FIFA 23 and PUBG, but I am able to play Rocket League, Valorant, CIV 6 and even Assassins' Creed Odyssey on max graphics settings with no issue or BSOD. Update I tried to follow the steps to post a thread about BSOD however when I tried to run the perfmon /report in CMD it does not let me save a file after 60 seconds so I cant do that. Hi All, I have used DDU and manually removed all AMD and Realtek Drivers and reinstalled them I've used both SFC and DISM scans (no faults or corruptions found) I've also run a Memory Diag and found nothing. 23. Hi everyone, I bought my component a bit more than a year ago and it's been quite a while since i have an issue. As mentioned in the tittle, I get random BSOD on windows with error code HYPERVISOR_ERROR. It happens randomly sometimes on idle, sometimes when watching videos or playing games. I have tried many things in an attempts to fix it, from Microsoft support, to reinstalling Windows, to driver update tools but nothing yet … I cannot figure out the reason for this issue and it is becoming extremely annoying. I have Hyper-V enabled because I use WSL as a dev platform and need to keep it that way. I'll join to this post a copy of my system info. 24. Was recommended I post here by a friend after i could not find a satisfying answer after a few hours of googling as a layman. I've started getting around 1 blue screen a week, with the same error each time (Memory_management), i ran Memtest86 overnight and came across multiple error on test 10 and 13, but I simply do not have the knowledge and experience to analyse or understand the data, if someone with more expertise could help me help myself I would be eternally thankful. From what i can see; most issue are related to the exact same address and all 4 sticks failed the test, so to me that screams cpu or motherboard but i truly do not have the knowledge to make the call, all advice are welcome. I also followed the BSOD posting instruction and have provided both the SysnativeBSODCollectionApp report and the Perfmon report on top of the Memtest86 results. Here is my part list also; https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/bqDTPV I apologize for any grammatical mistake or unorthodox phrasing, english is not my first language. Thank you for any time you spend helping me untangle this mess, I would be eternally grateful. https://drive.google.com/drive/u/0/folders/1ENGUUeeTe1pjWPm7Xmfx-Gy5ogBrZaxF Drive link to the results if the attachment failed, as a backup, or for people that end up here from google in 5 years. 25. As mentioned in the title, when running a game or updating I just get bluescreened. I have tried with different games from different launchers and a few games worked and then crashed when I tried again. can open apps like chrome, all windows stuff like event viewer etc. fine. its always either Kernel Mode Heap Corruption or Bad Pool Caller. I tried updating the drivers which didn't work and I have even reset my PC and it's still doing the same. I have pretty much tried to do anything that would come up with a google search too.
