Hey guys, I'm trying to decide which route I want to go down as in terms of CPU cooling for the Ryzen 9 3950X. Here are the options I'm considering: - Noctua NH-D15 - NZXT Kraken X63 280mm - NZXT Kraken Z63 280mm In my current build I'm using the Noctua NH-D15 and I've been super pleased with the low noise levels. But from a pure aesthetic point of view, an AIO looks better in my opinion. I would really like your input on this, which route you'd choose to go and why. I'm also open for other suggestions as in terms of cooling.

Hello i am fairly new to building computers but i have been doing research for the entirety of quarantine for building a new desktop! Seeing for how everything is its looking dandy but i recently found out the Ryzen 3800x could use a Nh-D15 instead of the D12 and i was asking if i should consider doing so with the comparability of the cooler with the Rog Hero Viii, I already have the Mother board and i actually replaced my friends cooler with the D12 i already had i'm curious weather i should buy another D12 or D15 for it specifically and i cant find any answers debating the D15 with the Rog hero Viii

I just assembled my brand new pc and got everything up and running. But I'm having 2 seperate problems with air cooling. the first problem is : both my 200mm front fans of the cooler master h500m are not spinning at all, I cheked BIOS and I found them detected as "system fan 2" and "system fan 3" (with "system fan 1" beeing my rear fan and "CPU fan" is obviously my cpu fan) both of the system fan 2 and 3 are put at DC mode, 7.2 V and with smart mode turned off. And the RPM of each of the front fans is 0 while the rpm of the rear fan is around 980 and the CPU fan around 1370. so I'm really lost and freaked out as I don't understand why both front fans are not working. the second problem is : when I'm putting minimal stress on cpu, (for example a simple download) the cpu fan ( arctic freezer 34 esports duo ) starts doing some abnormal loud and pingy sound ( I'm not talking about how loud the sound is, I'm talking about how abnormal and strange it is, it sounds like it's gonna break at any moment) this is saddening me, any help or suggestion would be so so appreciated ... I'm using the msi b450 mortar max MB, the CM h500m case and as for cpu, cpu cooler, gpu : ryzen 5 3600, arctic freezer 34 esports duo, amd rx 5700 xt

I have been looking online but all i can find are triple fans with rgb. But I am looking for a triple 120mm fan with only one cable, either 3 or 4 pin. Basically this but without rgb: https://www.megekko.nl/product/0/256699/Cooler-Master-MasterFan-SF360R-ARGB?r=scoupz.nl&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIo5vqtpGR6wIVluJ3Ch020A7wEAQYASABEgJrc_D_BwE

Im interested to see what the best airflow case might be as of right now? Im interested due to the very high temperatures this summer around here, om practically melting... No specific build in mind, it's all just a thought, a concept you might call it - hit me with your best bet

I know this might sound dumb to some, but Im planning to get the MasterAir MA610P air cooler and the td500 case from coolermaster. The problem is that the cooler is 1.5cm taller than what cooler master says that the case supports so do i have to find another cooler or case or will it still fit even though the cooler is 1.5cm taller than spec?

Hello Everyone, I'am building my first (from the ground) PC. Looking at the possibility for overclocking, and with some help from a friend, I would like to hobby whit this too. On some websites I've seen (self-confident) comments that you don't need annything to overclock, and on the other hand I get the advise to use cooling paste (Arctic silver 5?). Whatching a youtube movie makes it even more difficult by noticing that if you wanna reach some noticable result, this is a must have. From out a design perspective (window case) it wouldnt be wrong to do so, as long as it is white like the rest of most of it, and whit a little extra mony it can valuable, or maybe its like an insurance of not demolishing the cpu and probably the motherboard ?? Its not a high end computer , there isnt even a graphics card, so if it isnt nassasay... I'dd like too keep the mony where it belongs ;). What I do want, is a silent Pc. In order to so I will replace 1 stock fan from the case, and also chose the lowest db on the power unit. By placing this, I wouldnt like to undo my effords of reducing sound. Info: MOB Asus prime Z370-a whit negative air preasure, 1 or 2 stock fans on the azxt h500 (front I think) and 1 fan on the back/ top noiceblocker eloop b12-1. What so you guys/girls think; should I buy an aircooler, or is it totaly save to take a leap of faith and just trust the air fans mounted in the case?

Hello guys, I'd like to know if Noctua NH-U14S is good for intel's i7-7700k and if i could get it in a different color or recommend me another fan which is quiet and good as Noctua's. My motherboard is MSI Z270 Gaming M5 and got a lot of clearence in this beefy robust cooler master case. Been doing testing on my cpu and well it thermal throttles which well didnt show me any sign in gaming only seen it after running benchmark tests so I need it ASAP. Thanks guys.

Hey Guys So i'm looking at a cheap air cooler for my new W3680 (2nd hand) which will be arriving in a few days. Currently the rig its going in runs an I7 920 which runs into the 70's C range under load with its stock cooler. Now the W3680 will run cooler than the I7 920 mainly due to the W3680 being built on 32nm instead of 45nm like the I7 920 so theoretically it will only be as hot if not less HOWEVER i will be taking the W3680 to 4ghz (atleast) with Throttlestop (OEM mobo dont question it) and this crappy OEM heatsink is not gonna cut it. So ive been looking at some cheap coolers and i plan on not spending more than around $55 (AUD) due to saving for a 980ti on the side. Anyway enough rambling i came across the Deepcool Gammaxx 400 which i initially looked at and went oh yeah well thats gonna be pretty meh but i checked out reviews and this thing is a beast for the price, with it managing to keep an i7-5930k at 4.2ghz @ 58c which has a very similar TDP along with the cooler being very highly regarded by TomsHardware. Am i reading these reviews incorrectly or is this heatsink just awesome for the money?

So, It's been awhile since I last built my last pc build and as you will see from the pics below I have sold most of my hardware. The question which I would like help with is whether it would be better to opt for a liquid cooler over an air cooler or vice versa in the situation I'm in. As you will see this is where I will place my future pc and what I have currently. The second to last photo Is how I will place it, but the last one is when I push it to the very corner of the cabinet (so you kind of get an idea of the space I'm working with). What configuration should I go with to maximize airflow, lower heating and make sure that it doesn't collect any dust or do any damage to hardware? The cabinet door has slits to allow some air into the cabinet. I feel that I should opt for a liquid because I feel an air cooler will starve the system from the air and cause overheating. It's been awhile and I won't be placing it out in the open like I did the last time I built a pc. Any help or input is appreciated, thank you for your time.

Hi, I need help, I have a Cougar Panzer case. I currently have a crappy Hyper T2 cooler on my ryzen 5 build. I would like to do some mild overclocking, and my case supports up to a 160mm aircooler. Is there anything you guys would recommend? I would like to shy away from the hyper 212, as that bores me. A plus would be RGB too. Also, if you suggest I should wait for something new to come out, please say so.

I was wondering if you could put bladeless fans into a computer if their werer any small enough to fit in a case and if their would be problems or benifits to this? Such problems with hardware and air follow and temps? Example Like a Dyson Pure Cool Link 2-in-1 Air Purifier & Tower Fan w/ Extra Filter or something just smaller

Here’s the deal, I’ve just bought a New case for my pc. The case is great, lots of room, it came populated with three intake fans in the front. I plan on putting 4 more 120mm fans along the top and one in the back, but i’m new to high airflow. What would be the best configuration for a 7 fan cooling system? The cpu cooler is currently blowing air out of the case.

so, I went to upgrade my PC with a Cooler master masterliquid lite AIO, instead of using a Hyper 212 evo. so when took out the hyper 212 evo. the AIO and the deepcool tesseract arent compatible, we went and used the AIO fans as case fans. so when i booted my PC again. one fan was at 1166 RPM and i complained to my dad the noise. but everything was fine windows started and my internet wifi card worked. but it only posted to my DVI monitor. then when my dad came i shut down my PC (hard shutdown) and it didnt post. my dad said REEBOOT IT a ton of times realizing it was broken. I need help my Pc is one year old and ive tried everything. my PC's spec sheet is below. CPU:intel core i7 6700K (No oc) GPU:Gigayte geforce gtx 1060 6gb RAM:GeIL potenza 16Gb kit 2133 Mhz wd black 1TB HDD kingston 250GB Sata 6 ssd LG MDISC dvd reader. EVGA 500W 80+ reccomend 500W PSU. Hey everyone, i just installed my new I7 7700k. I played a conquest map in bf1 and i was getting super high temps averaging in 75c-85c with some peaks into the 90c area. im running a cooler master hyper 212 evo. currently my idle temps are high 30c to low 40c, coming from a i5 6500 this seems very high to me, i was just curious as to the safety of these temps for the hardware, or whether or not i should get a new cooler for it. (NOTE: i will need t owait a week to afford a new cooler is runnign the system for that long safe?) Thank you in advance!!

So I was wondering what the tdp of the cooler master t2 blizzard was as my dad was thinking of using it instead of the AMD stock cooler that came with his 6200. We just had one lying around from an older build of his. Thanks, Callum.
