So Im looking at getting a 280mm AIO. I was intending on getting the EK Supremacy AIO but its expensive and is now at the end of product life (believe there are releasing a updated one soon ). So the question is what is the best AIO out there, Im going to be aiming to make my new build as silent as Possible so noise is quite a important factor but If I have to have a little extra noise for more performance I can sacrifice a little bit of noise bit not too much, https://pcpartpicker.com/list/6Pz7nn link to planned build here just there in case you are curios. any help would be appreciated, Adam

So I have a gtx 1080 FE that is converted in to a gtx 1080 hybrid for my sister's rig. I've been noticing that the gpu runs relatively hot compare to almost every benchmark that I have read. I've done all the basic troubleshooting such as replacing the thermal paste and making sure the pump is working. I've also tried running the fans (noctua NF -f12s) at 100% and it lower the temps by about 2-5C but the noise is pretty bad. So just for note the card is overclocked with a offset of 202 mhz on the core 500mhz on the mem. The gpu is hitting 60C with an ambient of 22.5C which is pretty hot when I see other reviews getting delta Ts of 20C or lower (I'm getting about 37.5C here). The case is a Phantek Enthoo Evolv matx and the rad is mounted to the front as an intake. Tried mounting it to the back and top as an exhaust it made it worse (Hitting 70C). I know performance wise as long as the gpu is not hitting the thermal limit its okay. But when your gpu is getting 10C+ more then everyone else out there you start to wonder what the problem is.

im sure this has been answered but i cant find it the answers im looking for so if you could either point me to a post or answer id be very happy ^-^ ok so my question is typical for watercooling newbies. how often can they leak. im really asking a diy vs aio kinda question. what is the chance that an aio to leak vs a diy kit. i know that if all is done right the chances are slim for the diy but for a newbie i feel it would be more so. and after reading some reviews on lets say the corsiar h100i the fittings on the rad or pump can leak easy so for a guy that just built his first computer, i have an i5 6500 that isnt overclockable but i still like the look of watercooling and i know there some amazing looking air coolers, should i try an aio since its just plug and go or do a diy and make sure to secure all the fittings and tighten (but not to tight) them. im very afraid that it will leak and distroy my hard earned money. it seems to me that diy kits are less pron to leak than aio so i was hoping some people here could enlighten me on how often they received a faulty aio or diy kit. thanks in advance. also maybe throw some some suggestions as to which of both choices you guys/gals like.

I have an Asetek 550LC, which is the OEM Corsair H60. There's tons of topics/videos about how these Corsair Hydro pumps buzz and there's no definitive solution. Some have RMA'd multiple times with the same issue. Some were able to undervolt the pump with success. My current setup is: MSI Z170I Mini-iTX motherboard Pump in CPU_FAN header (0.2A) Radiator + Case fans in SYS_FAN header via 3-pin splitter (0.6A) I've tried controlling the CPU_FAN header with the BIOS, but it seems it only controls with 4 pins, because it stays at 100% regardless of what I put the curve at. I've tried switching fan headers, then my fans go full blast in CPU_FAN, so I can't hear the pump to check anyway. One thing to note is that it seems the buzzing loudness comes and goes. There's always a light hum, which is fine. This isn't air bubbles, it's definitely an electrical sound. Any insight is appreciated.

So I've pretty much decided to build in the node 804 (I like cubes), and by pretty much I mean I'm just waiting for it to be delivered. I do have a few loose ends to deal with; I'm definitely going with an AIO watercooler and I like the look of NZXT's Kraken x52 BUT I've only just realised that if you take out both drive cages on the right side of the case (which I probably won't populate anyway), you can fit a 280mm AKA the Kraken x62. The only problem with this is that the pump would have to reach around into the main compartment to mount of the CPU, meaning it would have to fit through the cable management hole at the front of the case. So, long story short, could anyone with experience of either (hopefully both) of these items - the Kraken and the node - help me out? Will the Kraken pump 1) fit through the hole into the main compartment? And 2) reach the CPU and be mountable WITHOUT stretching the tubes? Cheers for any/all answers

So I'm looking to watercool my 2500k to get a higher clock. No, I'm not switching the CPU out right now, that's later down the road. Anyways, I'm looking at a whole bunch of AIOs to get the job done, and most of them (especially the H80i, which was the one I liked) were rather expensive for their size. Then I stumbled on this cooler: https://www.amazon.com/DEEPCOOL-CAPTAIN120-Visible-Cooling-Radiator/dp/B01J4ZGIUW/ref=sr_1_1?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1485270724&sr=1-1-spons&keywords=red+led&psc=1 However, It has minimal reviews, and I haven't seen much on any youtuber's channel from this company. Could anyone give me any insight on how this thing performs and or if it is reliable? Any insight at all would be great, user experiences and such. The only reason i'm not pulling the trigger is the lack of reviews in general. Thanks guys.

What is the best 1080 with an AIO watercooling one can buy right now. And will an 860W power supply be enough?

I bought the S340 case and am planning a 7600k build in it soon. I have most of the parts picked and want to go AIO on the cpu cooler. Im just not sure which to look at, I was going to go kraken to match the case, but corsair is a little cheaper in canada. Also some youtube videos say the swifttech h220 x2 is good. Just looking for suggestions. Thanks for the help

Hi guys I recently built a new system with a aio corsair h100i v2 cpu cooler and I was wondering if I set it up correctly. I've installed it in a pull configuration whith the fans pulling air out of the case. Currently I have connected the pump to the CPU_FAN header on the motherboard and set it's fan curve to 100% in the UEFI. The pump itself is connected via USB to the motherboard to be controlled by Corsair Link. The stock fans are connected to the Y-cable of the pump. The pump operates at about 1900 rpm and the fan at 1600 rpm on idle (according to CL). My question now is if these rpm speeds are correct and whether I should set the CPU_FAN header to a temperature controlled fan curve or not. (The fans seem to get pretty loud and I would also like to know if this is normal.)

Hey LTT! So, I had a Raijintek Triton AIO CPU cooler. It worked great for over a year, ran my CPU at 27 degrees. It started to crack and leak, and I had to immediately remove it because it spilled a VERY alarming amount of water onto my motherboard. Luckily my motherboard survived thanks to the fact that it's an UltraDurable motherboard. Anyway, Raijintek sent me a replacement. I'm not stupid, so I am not going to put another raijintek cooler in my PC. What cooler should I get? I want an AIO cooler so I don't have to mess with it or refill it. Yes, I know the corsair ones are great and all, but they're just black and boring. The Raijintek Triton matched my green build, at least. I am interested in the NZXT Kraken because they're LED. Are those any good? Which other coolers are good options? Thanks for reading, I hope you have some recommendations

Hi all, I have installed X52 and two AER 120mm fans with NZXT Hue. I don't really understand how I connected them but here's what I remember: The fan headers from the radiator fans and two AER fans are all connected to the cable from X52; The AER fans are also connected to the Hue somehow, I remember there are cables that connect the fans to each other and to the hue eventually; The X52 is connected to the motherboard; The problem now is that I don't detect the X52 in my CAM software, only shows the Hue. The X52 works though, the fans spin, the light works I just can't control them, the cpu temps look fine. Love to get some help from you all! Many thanks

Sup folks, I was looking through some AIO liquid coolers and found the CRYORIG A40 Ultimate, and was intruiged by its looks. As you can see on the image, it's a 2×120mm radiator with a-whaaaaa?! A fan on top of the CPU block?! I doubt it'll actually help cooling the CPU, but it looks interesting and I love it. Does anyone have this AIO? Thoughts, opinions? I would also like to know what reliability to expect, I've personally never heard of the brand CRYORIG, what about you? What do you think? Thanks in advance! Regards, TJ

I own a Phanteks Enthoo Pro M Tempered Glass edition case and I'm about to buy the Kraken x62 cooler (280mm AIO). So the question is whether I would be able to mount it to the front of the case in a Push/Pull config without removing the HDD cage. The spec sheet certainly says you can mount a 280mm rad without removing the cage, but after searching online there are some folks who claim that you can't and others who say you absolutely can mount it. So I'm going a little crazy, does anyone here own this case and had to mount a 280mm rad in the front of this case to share his/her experience regarding issues or complications during installation? And last but not least: If there is no way of mounting the 280mm version and leaving the HDD cage intact at the same time I'll definitely buy the x52 variant instead, which is 240mm. So my question this time would be if you could mount 4x 120mm fans for intake (2 from each side and attached to the radiator) without any problems. I know it's a lot of questions but I've never installed an AIO or a radiator before in my life and it's a little scary... Thanks in advance!

Hello guys, I've heard that the higher your coolant is, the faster it evaporates through your tubes. Now I know it's gonna dry out in like 3 years and it's not urgent but how hot would you say I should allow my fluid to be? I have a corsair H100i V2 and I live in a hot place but winter is coming and should bring liquid temps down but about 4 C, however there can be hot days at any time of the year and the fluid will get to those temps if I don't run the fans at 2000 rpm which is too loud for my liking. The max I ever saw was 40 C and some change. Would you consider this too hot? I will ofc sacrifice my ears for some more AIO lifetime. Thanks for answers

I've been asked to recommend a desktop to someone. They specifically want a Dell. They're looking for something under $1,000, and given that they don't do much beyond basic computing is more than enough money. However, they also replace their computers about once every decade, so even though they don't do heavy computing stuff, might it be a good idea to recommend them with an i5-i7 processor? To give reference, their current system runs on a core 2 duo from '06, and even basic web browsing is sluggish for them, so I'd want to recommend them with a processor that'll last them another decade. I'd also want something for them that has an SSD, because that's an upgrade that they'll instantly notice. I don't think they need anything with a discreet GPU in the near future. However, it seems that most models with a decently sized SSD are higher end with a discreet GPU, something they won't need for now. Should I get them an AIO due to its space profile, or typical tower due to the fact that it's more up gradable if they were to need more RAM or a new GPU in about 5 years? TL:DR - Need a Dell desktop under $1,000, low computing needs but it needs to run smoothly for at least a decade, =>256gb SSD preferred, AIO or Tower?

Hi im looking for good but not too expensive AIO for CPU. Curently Im thinking about - Corsair H100i V2 ENERMAX Liqmax II 240 And thats pretty much all. I was thinking about Kraken X41/x61 but they are 140/280 and thats not fit to Fractal Define C at top position (CPU want to TOP), In future I thinking about NZXT G10 + some AIO but thats gonna go for front so its can be 140/280 that will doesnt matter. But now I need to find something to fit in 120/240 at top for CPU. Thanks.,

Hey all, So basically, I'm looking to do some upgrades on my budget AMD system that I'm having some fun with and basically I want to upgrade the CPU cooler to something that performs a bit better and is A LOT quieter (as in, doesn't run at 2000RPM with no load like the stock cooler). But I'm kind of torn between a few options, I've been looking at the Cooler Master Hyper 212EVO, the Noctua NH-U9B SE2 and some AIO stuff like the Cooler Master Seidon 240V, they're all within budget (and I'm open to suggestions, especially noctua stuff as I've never tried them) and I am planning on doing some overclocking on this system (my first OC too!) because of the FX processor. In case this matters for clearance and stuff I have the system in a Phanteks Eclipse P400S case that has front mounts for radiators, I have an ASUS 970 Pro Gaming Aura (ATX) motherboard and the RAM I use is standard sized AData DDR3 1600MHz. It really helps if you give prices in Euros or give links to stores in Europe, the UK or Ireland (Even stuff like Komplett.ie or Amazon.co.uk) Thanks in advance! Dylan.
