Hi, I don't know which graphics card to choose. I live in Czech Republic and the 1080ti is for 550USD and new 2070 SUPER is for 590USD. I'm going to play in 1080p. Which should I choose.

Just finished my new Ryzen 5 3600 + 1080Ti build (upgraded from FX-9590 & R9 390X). In the process however, I forgot to uninstall my AMD GPU drivers and such and now my 1080Ti is not being detected by windows. It's working fine as a display out at the moment, but neither MSI Afterburner nor Windows are recognizing it and the 1080Ti's fans aren't spinning... like at all. What should I do? Should I swap my R9 390X in to uninstall the drivers and such? Should I be worried that the 1080Ti's fans aren't on

Hi guys, I want to upgrade my CPU because I think is bottlenecking my GPU. My current CPU is: i7-4790 and my GPU is: Geforce GTX 1080ti. I was considering changing to AMD Ryzen. I liked Ryzen 3700x or Ryzen 2700x. Which one would you recommend to avoid bottlenecking? I was also looking for a motherboard to match those specs. Thank you!

As the Vega rumors are beginning to warm up and I'm closer to building my work station the question remains. Wait a little longer for Vega to come out or pull the trigger and get the 1080 "now". I'm looking to pick one up here in about a month and a half. So late April mid-May or just scrap that thought and go full blown 1080 Ti all the way?

I'm working on converting to a much more aesthetically pleasing build over the course of this year. So far I've gotten new cables and some quality of life parts. I've listed my current motherboard for sale on Amazon because it won't fit into the new case I plan on getting and after querying some of you heathens and watching Linus's videos I've decided that painting the motherboard is just too much of a hassle. So I think my build is about as good as its going to get until I can grab a 1080Ti. Goals for April: Buying: 1080Ti FTW3 EVGA (Care to suggest something better?) Buying: NZXT H440 Buying: MSI Motherboard Installing ^ Turn 27, Jesus I'm getting so old =( Goals for July: Buying: EKWB parts for custom loop. Installing ^ Goals before End of 2017: Buying the new GSYNC HDR Predator monitor Here are a few pics of my current build after the cable management update, and the installation of the HUE+. Here is the part list for the entire build including things I already have. I am going to get the GTX 1080ti but nvidia is sold out. I found one on newegg, but it is from ASUS not Nvidia. I just wanted to make sure that it is still the founders edition stock nvidia card or is it an ASUS variation? https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814126185&ignorebbr=1&nm_mc=KNC-GoogleAdwords-PC&cm_mmc=KNC-GoogleAdwords-PC-_-pla-_-Video+Card+-+Nvidia-_-N82E16814126185&gclid=Cj0KEQiAgJTGBRDLr5_az_Ouk44BEiQAIxaA4rz7G9eMqWp6KnoyrOznpbK-UQS0pKeiGpbHJ6otu2UaAjLA8P8HAQ&gclsrc=aw.ds

I currently have two brand new GTX 1070 Strix cards in SLI, and I am considering switching to the GTX 1080Ti when it arrives. My question is, is it worth it? Will I see an appreciable enough performance gain to justify selling 2 cards to get one? Advice, Wisdom and Thoughts appreciated.

Hey guys, just a little doubt i have... I see that the GTX 1080ti have a 6pin+8pin slot for the power supply... What i dont know is: It need both plugged to work ? Or just just one of those two ? Cause if it needs both, ill need to buy a new PSU. Thanks !

Hello everyone, Currently I have the Zotac GTX 750 Zone Edition, which I must say has done its job pretty well, but clearly it is not powerful enough for recent games in 4K (or 1080p even). I liked my old games such as HλLF-LIFE2 and the Mass Effect series in 4K, though. Now, I’d like to play MGSV, DCS World, Rise of the Tomb Raider, etc. I am from the Netherlands, and see the following prices: Asus GTX 1080 Ti Founders Edition: €657 (€794.50 including tax) Asus GTX 1080 Ti ROG Strix non-OC: €679 (€821.59 including tax) Asus GTX 1080 Ti ROG Strix OC: €743 (€899 including tax) The Strix non-OC is just €20 more expensive than the FE, so the FE is out of the question—besides I prefer a silent card (hence the Zotac Zone Edition 0dB card I currently own). The standard pricing for the FE is around €679 (€829 incl. tax), anyway. But then, what about the €60–70 price difference from the non-OC / OC version? My MOBO as far as I am aware has no overclock capabilities (or I am a noob and do not know what I am talking about). And I prefer stability over performance. My PC specs are: CASE: NZXT H440 MOBO: Asus H97-PRO Intel Xeon E3-1231v3 + Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo 16 GB RAM Zotac GTX 750 Zone Edition MONITOR: Eizo FlexScan EV3237 (Ultra HD monitor, by the way recommended, Linus should review it) SPEAKERS: Presonus Eris E4.5. HEADPHONES: Denon AH-D5000 AUDIO INTERFACE: PreSonus FireStudio Mobile KEYBOARD + MOUSE: Microsoft Sculpt Ergonomic Desktop Thanks in advance. Manolito Mystiq

Hi everyone! My friend asked me for a build, so there It is! ( pc project.pdf ) I know that isnt the best way to share with you the componentes so Ill throw some pics... Before that I have to say that this is Spain and we dont have all the components and retailers (and the pricing is different... well, more expensive) you guys have in the US, for example, but on the other hand here there are other manufacturers like NOX, which I love (I havent seen It in amazon.com [meanwhile I do on amazon.es, the Spanish site] while I did some searches to show you some NOX components in other topics...) The 1080ti is bugged, It costs 829€ and Its from Asus (which doesnt really matter). The Asus ROG "Frontal" comes with the mobo as a special pack (with no extra charges, just like that, for free). The total is: 2.719,60 € Ive choosen that monitor because I want It to last as much as possible and enjoy It as much as Its possible, so thats why It is IPS + 144Hz + 1440p + G-Sync (The whole pack :D). There isnt much more to say... I chose some RGB components Aura compatible since the mobo supports It so It can look better and the case choice is that one because my firend doesnt really care about tempered glass as long as It has a window and there were also the problem of needing 2x 5.25" expansion slots so we can install the Asus ROG "Front pannel" and Its white because of the black/white contrast. Eventhough I think this is the final system, Id love to read your thoughts! Thank you guys!

I recently bought a new mobo to get onto SLI (MSI Z170A Gaming M5 because my current mobo couldn't support SLI, only crossfire) but wanted to make sure I bought a sufficient PSU. I've been reading around 850+w should be minimum for 1080ti SLI? Would the corsair RMi1000w be ideal for dual MSI 1080ti's? I went ahead and preordered 2 MSI 1080ti's because people are saying they may be out in the next few weeks but wanted to make sure that PSU will be perfect before ordering it?

I've been wondering if my asus z170 pro gaming would be enough for the 6700k and a gtx 1080. Also i've been thinking of getting the new 1080ti but the thing is that i am not certainly sure if my motherboard is good enough for that. Since the new graphics card is a killer. Mind helping me out ? Thanks.

I'm going to put a 1080 Ti in my system and I'll be watercooling it. I was wondering if it'd be worth it waiting for the aftermarket cards to arrive. On air I know it would make sense to wait for those, but will I get a tangible improvement in performace by going with an aftermarket one over a reference card if I watercool them?

As the title says, should i buy a reference 1080ti and asus prime x370 or a strix 1080 and rog crosshair hero x370? (If 1080 and crosshair phanteks enthoo evolv tg edition. If 1080ti nzxt s340 elite

Hey everyone! I've thought this was obvious when others were asking, but now it's happening to me and I'm not too sure. I currently have 2 Zotac Reference Style 980Ti's that I have had for a little while. With the 1080Ti coming out very recently with astounding performance for such a good price, I was wondering if I should sell my Ti's for the new Ti. This seems kinda obvious to go for the 1080Ti but there are a couple more factors. First, I am going to build a custom loop, which would require water blocks for the graphics cards. This might seem like it's in the 1080Ti's favor, but keep reading. The other thing is how much I can currently get for my 980Ti's. The best offer I have gotten for it is $515 for both, which is not that much. If I did sell them then I would have to buy the 1080Ti, then the water block. If I kept my 980Ti's then I could just buy the water blocks, which would only be around $230 or so. If I sold my 980Ti's and went for the 1080Ti, I would be spending and extra $200 for the 1080Ti itself, and then I would have to buy the water block over top of that. What do I do? I'm sorry if this was confusing, I can't think of any other way of putting it. If you were wondering, I am going to be playing on a 1440p 144hz monitor.

I need some help choosing between two diff configs, mainly for gaming (GTA V, B1 and Cities Skylines) First is this one with a gtx1080ti for 4k 60hz Or this other for 1440p 144hz thx

I have a 980ti and a 144hz 1440p display. Most titles run sub 100 fps on my setup with my 6700k, 16gb ram, and 980ti. I have monitor or games like CSGO and lol which I can get 144fps. But on titles like bf1 I want to get my monitors money worth. is it worth it to buy a 1080ti or wait for volt? Thanks

Now that specs have been released for the 1080TI, would it be better (for 3D rendering, slicing, and architectural applications) than the Zotac Geforce GTX 1080 AMP! Extreme? what's the main difference? And if the 1080TI has a Pascal architecture, how does it compare to the Quadro P6000 for the same purpose? Not looking for assholes, just a discussion of my options
-
This probably wont happen because I dont see much more they can do with this to bring it to the next level, but with the new 1080ti leaving out DVI and finally being able to be single slot, would this be an interesting video?
-
Just went to go look at their site and came across there home page title screen. Another countdown timer lol. http://www.nvidia.com/page/home.html not sure if everyone sees it. I thought they were going to wait it out until Vega

Hello Peeps, (First off, am I on the right forum?) What would be the best Laptop to buy to couple with an External GPU for the purpose of College work and High FPS (60+ at least) Gaming on Ultra settings @ 4K? What would the External GPU Unit (Razer Core, Alienware Graphics Amplifier, etc) be? For example, the DELL Inspiron 15 @$950 with the i7-7700HQ and the 1050Ti looked like a good option, as does the Alienware series with the GTX 1070. Would you recommend either of these, or are there other better options at the same price range? If I'm going with the Alienware 15, is the Alienware Graphics Amplifier, a recommended buy, to the Razer Core? Do the current External GPU units support the 1080Ti and cards, after? (Optional) Could you elaborate on the reasons behind your choice? Some relevant videos/content on this subject, would be excellent! (Apart from Linus' and Dave Lee's videos) What are some excellent Laptop+External GPU combinations? Some more questions What other overheads/circumstances would you advise taking into account? It appeared from some sites that CPU bottleneck could be an issue, with that in mind, will the current processors (i7-6700HQ being among the most popular) or the processor on the laptop you mention, bottleneck the GTX 1080/1080Ti? Also, what are the pros and cons of linking a Laptop of one Manufacturer with the External GPU unit of another for optimal performance? (Example Alienware with Razer Core) Thanks in advance!

Hi All Recently I setup a new rig (7700k with Asus Strix z270e, 16GB Ram and NZXT x62 AIO) however I didnt purchase a new GPU at the time (January) as I thought the 1080Ti was going to be showcased/released at CES I was prepared to wait until March (PAX East) but now I'm seeing some articles saying the TI may not come out until June/July! Should I wait until the 1080Ti is released or go for a 1080 now? My goal is to be playing some games at either 4k or Ultra Hide definitely at least in HDR (just waiting for the right monitor to be released).

Aloha, I currently have an EVGA 1080 Hybrid in my PC and after EVGA comes out with the Hybrid version of the 1080 TI I was wondering if it will be possible to do an SLI between the two cards? I'm hoping that the two of them will be able to do high refresh rate 4k. (with a droooooollll Acer Predator XB272-HDR...) Mahalo
