  1. Ok, have discovered something, when you do a clean install (via amd graphics driver), it seems to uninstall the AMD chipset drivers? I can't be sure if it was DDU that did it or the 19.7.3 driver. Reinstalled chipset driver and testing.
  2. I'm having issues with a new Ryzen 3700x (ASUS x570 motherboard) build and the 5700 XT, PC shutting off, hard locks requiring reset button.. I almost forgot how fun AMD stuff is on release, I don't know if this is drivier/bios issues or a bad card and I'm past my 2 week store return policy. I run all the torture test stuff and nothing crashes. Sorry, not much help to you.
  3. I thought Vessel went free? Even at free, I don't see a need for another platform until YouTube gets worse with ads.
  4. I wish there was more of a used scene for PC users, we spend just as much money as a console user, but they can trade/sell all their games. I enter a battlefield code, and regardless if I like it or not, it's mine forever. I never thought that was fair. Not counting the return policy, I'm talking about games you may like, but in 30 days you'd just move on.
  5. Got curious so ran the benchmark on my hand me down systems (wife and kid): Rig Name: Old Shiny Cpu: 3570K Gpu: 780ti Ram: 8GB Score: 5 and Rig Name: Why Bother Cpu: Phenom II 965 X4 Gpu: 660ti Ram: 4GB Score: 0.1
  6. Rig name: Pizza > VRCpu: 5930kGpu: Titan XRam: 16GB DDR4Score: 11 All stock speeds
  7. Yes, considering the game hasn't been out a year yet, it has improved a ton but my point was the bigger the base the harder it is on your system. Out flying around I can be 60fps on High settings. I've not played in 1-2 months so not sure of improvements, I know the DX12 stuff was coming eventually.
  8. I was getting 8-10FPS standing inside a large base with a lot of dinos, maybe single player if it loads at all for that system.
  9. I love mine, only a few millimeter clearance between the clip springs and the back of my graphics card with this motherboard. But the peace of mind that the cooler isn't going to leak over my components is worth it. I bought it mainly because every tech youtuber was using them, but I seem to buy into the hype train. Too many points of failure with liquid, and with comparable price and performance, I'd rather invest in a chunk of metal that will last until they no longer support socket mounts.
  10. That is my only gripe, your telling me they sent you a $130+ keyboard replacement on your say so that a button is faulty. But I have to send my G930 back because the picture of the crack must not be impressive enough. In the end, its most likely who handles the claim on the other side.
  11. I've never dropped mine and that is the same sort of failure mine are about to have. It's worth a shot, avoid blaming yourself tho. If they can say its abuse, they will deny the warranty.
  12. Must throw wrench in machine, I contacted them Nov 10th about my G930 developing a crack where the band pivot point is (sent picture), the last email was the 'yes there is a problem, we will replace it for you'. So I sent them all my information and heard nothing. I contacted them on Dec 1st and got a reply from UPS (not Logitech) on the 3rd, that I have a shipping label. So I suppose the want me to return them before they ship a replacement. It is a known issue, on their forums there are plenty of stories/pics of them breaking here. I suppose because mine aren't totally destroyed yet they can't clearly see the issue. In the past they replaced a desktop grade mouse a couple times without issue because the buttons would start messing up (releasing while held down) and sent me a new G600 when they fixed the bugs from the release version. So I suppose I'll be without my G930 for at least 2 weeks while all this round trip shipping occurs.
  13. Sometimes smaller is better, but seems their passion is high quality production. Expensive production equipment needs revenue, but hearing about dollar shave club in every tech video gets annoying. Asking for donations, subscriptions, etc every video is a bit much as well. At what point does a youtube reviewer over expand? The tour of the studio showed 4 guys you never see on camera working in the 'office', plus slick and linus. Just seems a bit much to me, it causes this constant need to raise more money to survive.
  14. Release graphics seem better than beta. I bought it (on sale) because I was in MMO withdraw. I wasn't going to buy ESO, but watched some streams and even if it fails at end game content, it seems worth a playthrough. I've yet to find the class I want to level to max, its got a higher than usual learning curve skill system, and combat system. Maybe it gets easier, but being a lowbie I'm getting beat up often. Died more in ESO as a sub-level 10 player than I did getting to 50 in FFXIV.
