    So a couple of days ago I upgraded from the following config: AMD FX 8350 16GB of HyperX Fury DDR3 1666MHZ Asus 990fx sabertooth mobo 850 evo 250GB (boot) 1 x 1tb Caviar blue Western digital 1 x 2tb Green Western digital CX750W Corsair PSU H60 Hydro cooler R9 390 8GB XFX Black ed now baring in mind that I only changed the heart of the config which included memory, cpu and mobo to this Intel 5820k OC to 3.7GHz 16GB of Corsair LPX DDR4 2133MHZ Gigabyte X99 SLI board 850 evo 250GB (boot) 1 x 1tb Caviar blue Western digital 1 x 2tb Green Western digital CX750W Corsair PSU H60 Hydro cooler R9 390 8GB XFX Black ed Tell me what you think ? I will post some pics when I get around to sorting the cable management out (would of sorted it out when I was upgrading but it was like 2 in the morning haha)

    Currently only have 1 r9 390 But planning on cross firing them, although I will need to get a higher wattage PSU

    its pointless you getting this freesync monitor, you would want to go for a panel that has G-sync enabled with you having a nvidia graphics card

    if you are getting it off dream spark it should come with a product key for the upgrade, all you have to do is present the key when asked for then boom windows 8.1 will be installed on you're machine

    I think what he means is that he has 4 cards then instead of having 8x/8x/8x/8x you have two batches so batch 1: 8x/8x and batch 2: 8x/8x

    I have a XFX R9 390 black edition and it performs excellent while maintaining cool temps when running more demanding games.

    sounds like the power supply has died I would send it back to the manufacturer and get a replacement, if it is under warranty they should provide a replacement.

    its a decent set up, maybe you could try and sort out cable management but other than that very nice
