I'll check it. I might've done it a bit too sloppy, I'll do what you said and let's hope it improves a bit. I'll mark it as solved for the time being. But it shouldn't be this bad right? I see much lowe temps with simple air coolers from other people.

No, I'm using some Gelid GC Extreme, which should be pretty good.

I used the "Small FTTs" option, the first one. That could probably be the reason, but why would they also get up to 75/80 when playing BF1 though? Adjusting the fan curve doesn't really help, since the water is a good temp anyways. I tried setting the pump and fans to 100% speed and that decreased it only by about 2/3 degrees.

Hello, I'm having some trouble figuring out why my CPU temps are so high. I recently got a Kraken X52, and when I'm running Prime95 on my 7700K@stock the temps get to 88C (I stopped the test after 5 minutes). The water temp is just fine though, so I don't see why it's getting this hot. It also gets up to 78/80 C when I'm playing BF1 for a while. Anyone know if I can do anything about this? That was a way to imply Beats are quite shite, and you should buy other brands But seriously, you can't really fix a broken pair of headphones. If you still want to use them you could try bending the cable close to the connection points (both on the plug end and on the headphones end) to see where the cable might be causing problems.

I believe 178% is the same as 3440x1440. I personally put it on 130%, since I stopped seeing much of a difference after that.

What worked for a load of people with the same problem (including me), was to disable microphone access in Windows>Settings>Privacy>Microphone, there disable the Forza Horizon 3 option.

Ik weet niet of ik jou al op Steam heb (SebStatic) maar je mag mij altijd een invite sturen als ik online ben. Heb al een maand of 2 niet meer comp gespeeld maar was DMG de laatste keer dus dat balanceert de rank weer een beetje

Jep, waarschijnlijk komt dit door de encryptie (DRM). Gebruikt 100% van mijn eerste core, en de andere 7 worden rond de 30/40% gebruikt... Ik heb problemen met GPU usage in GTA 5 (dropt op heel veel plekken naar 60%) en op die momenten word 1 van mijn CPU cores 85% gebruikt volgens taakbeheer. Heb dit hier op het forum gepost en de conclusie was dus een CPU bottleneck.

Mja ik heb een donker glazen sidepanel dus het valt niet heel erg op, maar wil het wel doen ja. 250+GTX 970, dus die 970 is al weg Moest er ook nog een GTX 970 bij geven, en hij is legit. Ben er wel achter gekomen dat een i7-4790 al een bottleneck vormt bij veel spellen (GTA 5, Forza Horizon).

Ik heb echt net een belachelijk deal met iemand gemaakt en dit aan de haak geslagen: Gewoon een GTX 1080 voor een paar honderd euro
