It's more of an aspect ratio thing. I consider it a 8:5 (16:10) 1080p panel. It's not meant to be higher res, it's meant to be 1080p while being 16:10.

A lot of content creators have traditionally preferred that ratio becuase that's what macs used to use pretty much exclusively. Also, it allows more vertical room for tools while looking at 16:9 content, and a little more text on screen from a document at once.
It's not really much of difference work-space wise for 1920*xxxx panel, and there are some problems with it.
First, not all games do 16:10 well, but nowadays that's less of an issue since 1440x900 panels were common for a while, but it's still there. Personally, in most games, I vastly prefer 16:9, as typically you get less horizontally with games at 16:10 instead of getting more vertically.
Plus, not all 1920x1200 panels handle scaling 1920x1080 correctly (depending on the controller in it) with black bars instead of stretching, and some panels require special tricks to get that letterbox in order not to streatch content you have to run at a 16:9 resolution. Also, a lot of old flash video players stretch on it as well, typically on anime streaming websites I had this issue back in the day.

    They are the same
The first link just has the option to switch between the 3 models (the different sizes) to see each price
The second link is only for the 65" model

Eh, I wouldn't list the TN-panels as top monitors.

Dell UP3214Q has IGZO panel and a size (32") that does the resolution more justice - but it is more than three times expensive than the budget models. Regardless, if I wanted any color accuracy at all, it would be an easy choice, and the size is a great bonus. When you want to edit that 1080p video at 4K, and just in general, the size can be justified at higher resolutions.

It costs too much to justify buying one now. But there are great higher-end 4K panels, though one might think about even going 5K at that point.

The new TNs are better - but not enough to better the other panel types when it comes to anything but motion clarity.

I'm using the Samsung U28D590D. Really like it. Linus has a video of it - I recommend checking it out. Only thing with mine is some backlight bleed along the bottom edge in dark scenes. Colours are good once you play with them a little.

ACM is Adaptive Contrast Management which is the virtual contrast ratio. The spec is irrelevant, bull, just used for marketing, and should be ignored.
