I had a friend who wanted to switch from his AMD processor (which one it was escapes my mind) to 1155 because he wanted an i5 (what is it with people and thinking "i5" is a specific processor model anyway?). His solution? Why, buy a new socket for his motherboard of course.

It's a shame Half Life has stories to resolve. We don't need another Half Life game - what we need is innovation only Valve can bring (think original Half Life, L4D and Portal). The gaming industry is today over saturated with linear shooters, and even though the Half Life formula is pretty solid and has a fan base, I'd very much prefer to see a new, mind-blowing innovation from Valve. Half Life can never satisfy all these years of hype anyway. Less sequel, moar new stuff!

The Matrix films are the result of somebody skimming through batshit crazy philosophy books without actually understanding it. Hence a good first film and reeking of plotholes the further the trilogy goes. The films are are action-packed awesomeness with some philosophy stuff packed in to contextualize. Think of the story aspects of sandbox games. It's pretty pretentious in a lot of ways. Doesn't mean that the idea of the Matrix isn't interesting - but a lot of the interesting parts have been filled in by fans later. Great film though, Matrix, one of my favorite movies ever.

Witcher 2, definitely. Just walk into the woods in chapter one. Just do it. Seriously. Then shit your pants when the crabspiders eat you.
