  1. The AG620 is out of the box compatible with the AM5 socket, so you shouldn't have any issues there. It's an excellent cooler with similar performance with the AK620.
  2. The mounting holes are the same, but there are a couple of differences: mainly the LGA1718 SAM is screwed into the AM5 backplate (meaning any cooler that does not use the stock motherboard backplate will not be compatible right from the start). This is the situation with the Assassin III and is the reason that an AM5 specific upgrade kit is necessary.
  3. Please place a support ticket in regards to getting an upgrade kit for your Assassin III cooler. The support team can send out the required kit, you just have to provide the information they need. Be sure to pick your actual location from the dropdown menu so your inquiry goes to the team that supports your region. https://www.deepcool.com/support/Base/index.shtml?id=Supports This is correct. Our support teams send out upgrade kits constantly.
  4. Thank you both for your feedback. I will definitely take that into consideration. It is much appreciated.
  5. What do you think about other AsRock motherboards like the X570 Tachi? I usually go with ROG motherboards, and haven't had much hands on experience with AsRock motherboards. If you have any experience with AsRock's higher end board, I would be all ears. +2 for your comment on the AK620.
  6. I totally get it. If blacked out is your thing; the AK400 Zero Dark is also coming out in the coming months. Just a suggestion that you might like. https://global.deepcool.com/products/Cooling/cpuaircoolers/AK400-ZERO-DARK-Performance-CPU-Cooler/2022/16140.shtml
  7. Great advice! The AK620 is an excellent choice.
  8. I would have to agree here, as that cooler is capable of handling that CPU. If you are in the US and near a Microcenter, you can get the newer AK400 for $34.99 right now.
  9. I would have to agree with this statement. You get similar performance in a a more compact package, and it is more visually appealing IMO.
  10. Good Idea. I was going to build another 5950X system, but will wait it out for the 7950X, since certain components will need to be upgraded to support the new gen.
  11. I would have to say that all of these choices should do the trick for you, but our AK620 is currently the best bang for your buck cooler that actually looks good. (my opinion might be bias here. hahah)
  12. Nice white build. I must admit, like others have mentioned, I was expecting a Coca Cola themed build, haha
  13. Yes, the LS720 will out perform the AS500 Plus, but as others have mentioned, ambient temperatures will have a large effect on the temperatures you will see.
