Hey Guys,
I am runninga windows home server (2011) and have been running a storage config of two raid 1 arrays, one that is 1TB and another that is 2TB. The 1TB array has OS and some data stored on it, however one of the drives in it has just failed, meaning I can't boot into the OS. I have read elsewhere that you need to buy a new identical drive and swap that in in order to rebuild the array, however thinking about it, I realised it would make more sense to buy a SSD and put the OS from the failed array on that, and back the remaining data from that array to my 2TB array. I am not sure exactly how I can do this without loosing any data or having to reinstall the WHS2011, so was wondering if anyone would be able to help me out.
Thanks
