The command to display password prompt for sudo is kdesudo or kdesu

if you want to display a custom dialog you can use kdedialog

Good question and tbh you dont need to look at bg programs for this, maybe just look at the src code, hey, everything is open source remember

GUI package managers are exceptional in that they are frontends for CLI programs and do start some CLI processes in the background; this is not true of all GUI programs. If you want to learn how to use the CLI package manager you'll be much better served reading a guide or wiki, or at worst a man page. Stuff like the password prompt can be launched from the command line as mentioned by @C2dan88, but don't be mislead into thinking most programs work by executing bash commands.

Ok I didn't think/research properly before posting.  I didn't know what a nas was before but after searching through linus tech tip videos I found that a nas was what I was kinda picturing
Also the external hard drives are the backups so yea I'll look into a nas.
    thanks

I don´t think so. You should probably go with the 1333 and save some money to buy a new one in a few moths/years depending on your budget. I mean for watching videos its ok, emulators should mostly run fine too. But have in mind that it won´t last forever.

The Decleration Errors indicate a incompatibility with the linux-headers, probably from the changes around 5.10

Also the path indicates it was for Kernel 5.8.1 Sept 2020
    herorareheart@Kitchen-PC:~/wifi/rtl8821CU_rtl8731AU_WiFi_linux_v5.8.1.7_37266.20200929_COEX20200616-4141$
    And your current Kernel is
    make[1]: Entering directory '/usr/src/linux-headers-5.11.0-18-generic'

Suggestion to make an update video on using large sd storage as game drive.

The video 2018 video was using a microsdxc with U1, V10, C10 on a phone that on a phone that support only microsd which may not have been able utilize the card's to its fullest potential.
Here is a link to a micro with U3, A1, V30, C10 which should be fast enough to use as a game drive if the phone supports microsdxc.
Its on sale at the time this post  was posted and it is 512gb in size.

Also, the battery charge times aren't always accurate. It may charge quicker than that.

you can actually issue a ntfs command and it takes care of windows unmounting in order to use the disk as you want. Used it multiple times when a customers laptop wouldnt boot but wanted some files off of it, but windows held it hostage.

But to answer your question, yes you can use fast startup but in my experience if you have an ssd, its a negligible difference.

Filesystems were a bigger issue years ago, but you should still avoid mounting Windows' NTFS volumes from Linux r/w while they are not cleanly unmounted by Windows.
Some devices may stop working or disappear in pci enumeration, after switching from fastboot Windows to Linux. Some Intel/Realtek onboard sound cards are a current example.

    But it won't explode immediately

It's by design, or rather, design flaw - Asus do this apparently because they can't be bothered to engineer a proper cooler.
