    I cannot make up my mind on what to buy: Windows 8.1 (My current Windows isn't Genuine...) Second monitor (Acer H236HL BID) Or just put it away for a rainy day. HALP! Suggestions in this price range (100-150) are cool too.

    That is pretty much the use for an SSD in your case. You probably would not be able to see an "significant" change from upgrading your processor and motherboard. If you want superior gaming performance, just get another or more powerful graphics card.

    I have a HTC One, if you can deal with the battery life being under par, i would go with the One.

    Ok, I can't find a laptop for around $400-$600 USD. Of course there are some, but I want one with a small display, preferably 13.3 inches, 4th Gen Intel Core i5 processor, large storage HDD, and a sustained battery life of about 5-6 hours. I know this is asking a lot for a GOOD-QUALITY laptop but I need to stay within this budget as tuition is stupid. Please help. Thanks in advance.
