  1. System Intel i7 4790k Hyper 212+ Asus ranger mobo 2 X 4g ram Rm 860x V2 (purchased 2 months ago) 980ti EVGA classified So I was gaming on the weekend, then went to do some other stuff and came back to it frozen. Restarted it powered on but didn't post. Now it won't boot up at all. I tired my old PSU but still nothing Tried all kinds of ram Configs Tired just mobo n CPU still nothing The motherboard lights do light up just won't boot up, tryed the power jumper nothing. Any ideas?
  2. Mmm Looks like might be be able to get a 360 in the roof? There's mounting for 3 x 120s it looks like. The gpu in take worries me a little, but I guess Phanteks cases are leaning towards water cooling anyway.
  3. Go the swiftech H240-X, fully customisable, powerful enough pump to support extra blocks/rads. 280mm just watch the case compatibility (pretty much only mountable in the roof) with the under slung rez/pump.
  4. Can anyone confirm if you can get the free 168 hrs of b4 and buy premium. So for them 168 hrs you have full access and if they expire you can then just buy normal bf4? Essentially trying to be the biggest cheap skate.
  5. First step would be to look at build logs including your case. Then you'll be able to see what rads you can fit and where to fit your rez and pump. Read the newbie thread, to get an idea of what you need.
  6. As Linus has said multiple times in the past ssd's have become pretty much on par in terms of speed, so the only way to differentiate is features and price. With 0.43 and 0.44 cents per gig on the 256/512 models from Amazon and crucial on site, these are very competitive prices. It would have been nice to see a, 1 TB model but as stated in the pcper article they won't to keep some segregation between models. The writes do drop off in the smaller capacities, 330mb/s on the 256g and 150mb/s on the 128g, This is due to the smaller manufacturing process and being less able to stack dies due to being more complicated. Really excited to see below 0.50 cents a gig launch prices. 512 model seems the most compelling, by the end of this year I can see sales being below $200!!!. 7. 760t can house 1 thick 280 and 1 45mm 360 as well as a drive cage. Been looking at it for myself.
  8. So much mess Linus, Dem hard drives, Dat sever
  9. I'd difenitly go with adding a additional 240 rad, although 120/140 would suffice. General rule thumb for watercooling is 240 for first block then 120 for each block after.
  10. Awesome review once again Linus, love the comparisons made to a comparable desktop and the inclusion of benchmarks. Also 4k woooo
  11. ON YA HTC FOR THE GIVE AWAY!!!!!LOVIN DAT BOOM SOUND
  12. Tryed it, in the menu now thx a bunch. +1
  13. I don't really wanna do this as this would mean installing my games again?
  14. So yeah I got an invite, downloaded and now I'm getting this error just before the menu loads on the game. "Failed to initialize Origin: The Origin installation couldn't be found [a0020008]". I've verified my game install, and had a quick look around but can't find anyone with a similar problem. Any ideas?
  15. I have a d5 in a XSPC square pump/rez combo. Have it on 2 and it's dead quite. I think there might be some air left in your loop? How long have you had it running for? Try turning the pump up to 5, then back to 1 and repeat a few times.
  16. A basic water cooling set-up consist of a block, pump, reservoir, tubing, fittings. 3/8" inner diameter 5/8" outer diameter and 1/2" ID 3/4" OD are the most common tubing sizes, your going to need 2 fittings per block/res/pump or in the case of a res/pump combo they are connected internally. G 1/4 is pretty much standard thread size. Make sure you plan your loop out, do a drawing, Loop order doesn't matter as the water will be moving so fast it become irrelevant just do which ever order make the smallest runs. Water cooling can be a lot of effort, time and potentially dangerous, its not for that faint heart. Nvidia have planned maxwell their next GPU gen for late Q1, although probably more like Q2 IMO should be in time for july. Hate to be the one the says "wait and buy later" , but yeah if I where you i'd wait and buy a new graphics card.
  17. Price seems fair for ROG and g sync, keen to reviews.
  18. I think 1 week guest the week after no guest works well, also I like the Wan show backdrop.
  19. You should consider the Phanteks Enthoo Primo Ultimate Chassis for a case good review up on hardware Canucks. Native water cooling support for rez 's and pumps, loads of rad options and rear mounted psu. Front asthestic I didn't like at first but it's slow growing on me. First case from Phanteks, can't wait for there next.
