  1. I think firewire is used for cameras and such so you can transfer files to the pc
  2. I'm pretty sure It doesn't, I'm not sure but the top red connector is maybe firewire?? and if it is it might carry video I'm not sure
  3. Coil whining is a common thing but can be reduced. Try this video from Jayztwocents
  4. white is fine but it really depends on who the manufacturer is some psu have 80+ ratings but they're absolute trash and can go boom boom if not careful

if it's the audio jack that's screwed you could possibly go though usb or pcie soundcard but if it's the audio chip I don't really know. I'm fairly new to PC's and Audio so I'm not that big brain. Just trying to help out

Sounds like a broken connection to me. Maybe the wire or connector got broken or worn down?
  7. If they're programs that you can download off the inter-webs then I wouldn't worry about transferring them, it would cause more problems than it would solve. I meant transfer important documents and such because you can always download and sign into stuff later on
  8. I had the same issue, the best solution for me is just to reinstall windows on a drive that works. Make sure to backup any files that are important
  9. Simson970 had the a similar problem, I think it might be the ram because he also had Patriot Viper 3200 Memory. I'm guessing your not dumb but have you tried updating the bios?
  10. Have you installed or updated drivers?
