  1. Save $$$ now. Spend later when Zen 3 come out. Chair and desk you can buy them later or steal them.
  2. If it is running fine then you don't need to reinstall Windows every 1 - 2 years. Ain't nobody have time for that.
  3. DDR4 to DDR5 is a huge change but yet my wallet is still the same. Butterfly coming out of my wallet when I open.
  4. The system reserve partition on os drive should not have any drive letter assign to. After you fix this, disconnect all internal drives beside the os drive then boot to see if the computer boot into windows. if it does, then you can go ahead delete the old system reserve partition.
  5. Yes. I follow the guide in the link.
  6. I did not have to reinstall Windows or lose data using the method in the link, but just prepare for the worst consequence if things did not go the way you really want.
  7. I would also upgrade the mobo to b450, x470, or b550 so you don't get to left out with outdated mobo.
  8. I would wait till Zen 3 come out so you can snack 3700x or 3900x at a good steal deal.
  9. I remember I am using this guide https://www.diskpart.com/articles/move-system-reserved-partition-4348.html But be prepare for the worst consequence that he might lose all his data and have to reinstall Windows.
  10. Yes, he can move system storage partition from the other drive to the main os drive using 3rd party tools like EaseUs or Minitool.
  11. Overkill is better than underkill since you spend that $$$ on a cpu. Intel is still king in clockspeed.
  12. 90c on cinebench r20 with d15? The D15 is massive, and it performs identical to 240/280mm aio. Something is wrong with the mounting.
  13. Used rx 580 is great for budgey 1080P. Gtx 970 too. GTX 980 would be nice because you don't have the gtx 970 3.5gb vram syndrome.
  14. 3900x if money is no problem. Otherwise 3700x is fine too.
