  1. You will also need a cheap graphics card because the Ryzen 5 3600 doesn't have integrated graphics.
  2. That motherboard looks like a Z490 Maximus Formula instead of a Z490 Maximus Hero in the picture. The VRMs on the Formula are meant to be watercooled, while the VRMs on the Hero have heatsinks on them, so they can be cooled by the case fans. So, make sure that you are not getting the Formula.
  3. Try posting here: Edit: Oops someone posted it at the same time as me.
  4. I usually sell my PC to one of my relatives and build a new one once something worth upgrading to comes out, which typically happens every 2-3 years for me.
  5. I have the swacket and the black & gold ltt water bottle. Still trying to convince my parents that the underwear is worth it.
  6. I'm pretty sure that Mrwhosetheboss made the video, but I cannot find it for some reason.
  7. Is the power supply on? Is the front panel power button plugged in? Are all of your cables fully plugged in?
  8. One includes a capture card, but that still isn't worth over $300 ...
  9. I can confirm that my 2080 Super cannot hit 4K 120. It can hit 1440p 165 in most AAA games on high settings, so I would go with the 1440p 165 Hz option like boggy77 said.
  10. I would wait until the AMD Ryzen 5 3100X and B550 motherboards are available to purchase, and then add them to this build. The Ryzen 3 3100X is going to retail for $100, and then you can try to find a good $70 motherboard for it. 11. I would try to get some 3600 speed memory if it doesn't cost too much extra, since 3rd gen Ryzen performs better with fast ram. I would also go with a MSI B450 Tomahawk MAX if looks are important to you. Note: If you choose to get a MSI B450 Tomahawk, you would want to go with the MAX variant because it ships with a bios that is compatible with 3rd gen Ryzen. The MSI B450 A-Pro Max motherboard is not compatible with 3600 speed memory. https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/jcYQzy/msi-b450-tomahawk-max-atx-am4-motherboard-b450-tomahawk-max https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/RLqhP6/corsair-vengeance-lpx-16gb-2-x-8gb-ddr4-3600-memory-cmk16gx4m2z3600c18
  12. If he decides to go with that motherboard, he wouldn't need to update the bios. The ASUS website says that it is 3rd Gen Ryzen ready. https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/ROG-STRIX-B450-F-GAMING/
  13. The explosion would be three times as big if it was running Crysis.
  14. What is your budget? What country do you live in? I would try replacing the CPU with a Ryzen 5 1600 AF. It is $85 in the US. https://www.amazon.com/AMD-Processor-Wraith-Stealth-Cooler/dp/B07XTQZJ28
  15. Granted, but you have to drink it straight out of the carton and all in one sitting. I wish that the squirrel at my window stopped staring at me.
