  1. It usually tells you what button to push on startup lol
  2. Nope. I would do the single card all day everyday.
  3. I never use the filters that the case comes with. They are like condoms, and just get in the way. Bareback all the way buddy. Got the kids to prove it..
  4. It just goes to show that even in the face of adversity those X3D chips run cool.
  5. Your cooler is pointed the wrong way. It should be front to back, not breathing off the GPU backplate. If you are using low noise adaptors, that is not helping either.
  6. Pull straight up, rip the CPU from its socket. Sounds worse than it is though. It is a ZIF socket, you wont hurt anything.
  7. I figured it was around 18 or so. Well.. 19-20.
  8. No AC. X3D is easy to cool.. If he had a 30c ambient his core temps would be as low as they were at idle. I don’t know what his ambient is, but it isn’t high
  9. I will let you see a little into my world. I have been folding with my GPU, so I need some airflow through my chassis.. don't worry, it isn't loud, I could sleep on the couch no problem But I loaded my CPU up too. Granted, he does have 500MHz on me, but in the grand scheme of things, it really isn't that much. Also, I made sure that my CPU would achieve maximum load, while he was just running a game.
  10. I have done these experiments before. I never exhaust out of the top because I do not want the fans to pull all of the warm system and GPU air through it, warming all my other stuff up in the process. If you just use your system at stock and play games, then who cares. But if you are chasing every C you can for whatever benchmark you are running, there are better ways to setup a system. You can tell by his core temps that he is not looking at a high ambient. His cooling just is not very good.
  11. If he is exhausting out of his AIO, then yes, it would be less than ideal.
  12. Always changing stuff.. forgot to put the back glass on.. these pics are a total setup. I normally run with the glass on both sides. My packing tape partition to keep the airflow out of the PSU chamber and in the main chamber: And I sealed in the bottom around the fans for good measure..
  13. You're power is fine, what I meant was that you cannot add more PPT/TDC/EDC, which is what you need more of to gain higher clocks in that type of heavy load.
  14. You cant. Best you can do is play with your curve a little, but you cannot change your power limits, one of the only drawbacks to running an X3D part. Edit: Yes you can change power limits.. but you can only go down, not up. You need more power.
  15. Its a good drive, I have one. I have a few SN770 too, they are ok.
