  3. A friend is putting together a new rig for video editing only (doesn't play games). So far this is the component list (see attached). This list was put together by someone else. I recommend a slightly higher wattage PSU for potential upgrades down the line and it needs a GPU. What would you guys recommend?

    BenQ XL2430T monitor

The amount of times this happens its almost as if people do it because they know there is a lot of traffic here. If it's an honest mistake then fair enough as we should be welcoming to new members no matter how inexperienced they are with forums. Nevertheless I'd certainly hope people weren't doing it on purpose then being like "whoops..."

The Pronto - Super Fast Charge Battery Bank

About the wear on the battery I was also thinking the same thing. I wonder how long it will last. The battery bank itself can draw 5A for charging but only outputs 2.4A (Max) to the given device. As stated above it outputs 2.4A (max) so you can plug in any USB device but its up to the given device to draw the current it wants/needs.
  11. Ever wanted a portable battery bank that can charge and store a full phone charge in just 5 minutes? Enter The Pronto. So in a Nutshell this is a new battery bank that has comes in two flavors. -The Pronto 5 which can store up to 3 phone charges in just one hour (4500mAh) -The Pronto 12 which can store up to 9 phone charges in just one hour (13,500mAh) The Pronto has an input of 5V and 12V respectively both drawing 5A from the wall or both can be charged via micro-usb albeit only at 2.4A thus will take quite a bit longer than the claimed hour full charge. The Pronto 5 has a single 2.4A (Fast charge) USB port where as the Pronto 12 has Dual 2.4A USB ports that allow both to draw 2.4A at the same time as well as a single 12V output. Both products come with the required AC Wall Charger for the fast charge but the Pronto 5 has a micro usb cable included and the Pronto 12 has 12v adapter included in the box. In my opinion battery banks are one of those things that you don't think about until the last second before going somewhere, and this particular device would have saved me on many occasions. L.M.G who we all know also use a lot of battery banks on trips could probably also benefit from such a device. 12. It's things like this that help society. No longer will deaf people need to learn sign language. If it gets to the point where the google glasses microphone picks up speech and puts it right on screen then it will be a massive win.
  13. Didn't anyone else notice the chrome cat haha

What to look for in a music production pc?

If you're using FL studio / logic etc honestly these are the things that I rate as musts. 1. A high resolution display, having more "space" to do your work is incredibly important. If you're getting a laptop I wouldn't recommend getting anything under 1080p, if you can afford anything higher then that's great. 2. Quality soundcard / Audio interface such as the Focusrite scarlett 2i2. 3. A decent amount of ram 6GB - 8GB's as these programs can get ram hungry. 4. The addition of an SSD always helps to give things smooth and responsive. Those are my thoughts anyway

Car Audio - Line output converter question

Yeah that's exactly what I mean man. I was just thinking that a Line output converter would be better because then at least the RCA's would be shielded / more protected than running standard wires through to the back of the car. Its very 50/50 all over the web everyone seems to disagree haha
