    1. Run benchmarks on your system! That way you can compare scores. Fraps to record fps, Frafs to analyze the results, Google Spreadsheet to compile the results is my go to. And 3Dmark and Cinebench of course
    2. A GPU swap can be done without reisntalling, but I would recommend for a mobo+cpu swap to reinstall windows.
    3. Be sure to link your Microsoft account to your current PC, that way you can login after the reinstall to transfer the license
    4. This way you also avoid the whole GPU driver thing
    5. Run benchmarks again to compare performance and bask in the glory of your new PC!

    Check the mobo tier list and get a decent one. You will be working it pretty hard pushing over 5ghz.
