  1. The battery is software locked on the newer cars, the 75kWh and the 60kWh version of the car use the same battery packs. You can pay Tesla and they will unlock it with an over the air update. Source: https://www.bloomberg.com/graphics/2016-tesla-model-s/
  2. Sup guys, been reading this thread for a while but never posted. So i figured it's finally time for me to make my introduction. This is my daily an 04 Colorado z71. It works perfectly fine as a daily and hauling light loads, but i haven't got a chance to try it off-road yet. And this is my weekend/project car. A 75 camaro with plenty of rust, not enough power, absurd amounts of body roll, and i couldn't love it more.
  3. Guess i'll go ahead and take a crack at this. I chose to go small form factor with a mini itx board sporting the i5 6600, a water cooled fury x, and a 240 gig ssd, all enclosed in the Enthoo Evolv. This build also has a 2TB hard drive for media storage and 16GBs of 2400mhz ram. To round out the build i added a 1440p 144hz free sync monitor, a (mostly) full sized mechanical keyboard and a corsair m65 mouse. As of creation the price, without mail in rebates and without in store pick up, sits just under $1,690 PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant CPU: Intel Core i5-6600 3.3GHz Quad-Core Processor ($215.99 @ SuperBiiz) CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler ($24.89 @ OutletPC) Motherboard: MSI H110I PRO AC Mini ITX LGA1151 Motherboard ($86.99 @ SuperBiiz) Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-2400 Memory ($58.99 @ Newegg) Storage: A-Data Premier SP550 240GB 2.5" Solid State Drive ($54.99 @ NCIX US) Storage: Seagate Barracuda 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($60.00 @ Amazon) Video Card: XFX Radeon R9 Fury X 4GB Video Card ($434.98 @ Newegg) Case: Phanteks Enthoo EVOLV ITX Mini ITX Tower Case ($72.98 @ Newegg) Power Supply: SeaSonic G 550W 80+ Gold Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply ($79.99 @ SuperBiiz) Monitor: Acer XG270HU 27.0" 144Hz Monitor ($461.65 @ B&H) Keyboard: Cooler Master CM Storm Quick Fire TK Wired Gaming Keyboard ($80.99 @ Newegg) Mouse: Corsair M65 Wired Laser Mouse ($46.49 @ Newegg) Total: $1678.93 Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available Generated by PCPartPicker 2016-07-25 21:01 EDT-0400

  5. I'd put Durarara x2 at the top of currently airing anime it's first two seasons are great and the third is no different. As for currently airing shows in their first season, Gate and Overlord seem to be the stand outs of the season. Charlotte has great potential but i'm a bit worried the ending will be rushed. Shimoneta is awesome, but definitely not for everyone.
  6. If you want more anime about being trapped in a game try log horizon or overlord, If you want more action try Attack on Titan or Akame ga Kill, and a few that aren't realy in the same vein as sword art online but i highly recommend are Black Lagoon and Jormungand.
  7. Ah, I understand don't want to put the buggy before the horse so to speak. Best of luck with both your pc and chair.
  8. For mine I'm going to use where the chair is supposed to bolt to a car to mount it on the base, you might be able to do something similar. A few people have done youtube videos with similar projects, if you're looking for ideas those might be of some use. Are you thinking of doing a guide for the guide subsection of the forum? I was thinking about doing one but yours will probably look a bit less Jerry-rigged. Best of luck with your project and make sure to post pics when it's done.
  9. I'm actually working on a project pretty similar to this one. I went to a local scrapyard and ripped the chairs out of an older car. Then i went to Lowe's and picked up a piece of steel to make a base plate. All i have to do now is find an old office chair to rip the wheels off of and i should be good to go. In total it only set me back about fifty bucks so far.
  10. "Death is nothing to us, since when we exist, death does not exist, and when there is death, we no longer exist" - Epicurus In other words worrying about things that you can't change is pointless, especially when it comes to what happens after death which no one will consciously experience. In all reality she is probably better off talking to someone like a therapist if it's that serious.
  11. I can't belive no one has posted this magnificent fight scene from Nichijou yet. Joking aside Fate/zero and Fate/stay night probaly have the best looking fight scenes in any anime i've seen.
  12. Putting them in a list was not the easiest task but this is what i came up with: 1. Bakemonogatari 2. Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica 3. The disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya 4. Hyouka 5. Fate/Zero 6. Black Lagoon 7. Is this a Zombie? 8. No Game No Life 9. Kokoro Connect 10. Another Honorable mentions: FLCL, Jormungand, Mirai Nikki, Plastic Nee-san, Death Note
  13. Based on what you've watched so far id recommend Panty and Stocking with Garter belt, Black Lagoon, Jormunagand, Mirai Nikki, No Game No Life, Code Geass and Soul Eater. I'd also highly suggest you watch Fate/Zero it's by far one of the best action anime of all time. As for SAO it never gets worse then the Alfheim online ark, so if you've watched that and didn't hate it give the second season a shot.
  14. The 980ti, if it exists and the rumors are even half true, will be the better card. If it will be worth the extra depends on the types of games you play. If you play a ton of older and less demanding games go for the 980. If you like the new AAA eye candy games like the Witcher and Project Cars go for the 980ti. Of course this is all speculation their may never be a 980ti, and if their is it could be months out. I'd say wait till computex at the very least, we should have more details then, and the upcoming 300 series may shift the 980s pricing around.
  15. I payed about 130 for mine about a year ago.
