    Can't download any updates since canary build 25393.1 I've tried every tweak and fix from the internet. Not going to make a clean install. Just wondering what is going on. The 25393.1 was zn build. All the sequel are rs or some other builds.

    One of the strangest perhaps is "What Remains of Edith Finch". Almost brought me, a grown man, to tears. Spiritfarer is in similar in build up. Mindustry is a good factory building game, also Dyson Sphere Program. For the game mods - Archolos, Enderal - both brilliant, for Gothic 2 and Skyrim respectively. In more general sense - The Witcher series and Fallout series. But of course there are many-many small indie titles too...

    Very few games require 8+ GB of VRAM. Most of them won't really run above 20 fps when 8GB+ is required anyway.

    Oh, yeah. I was thinking about the 1994 game. Did not realize there were at least 3 games called "Road Rash"

    11 is not superior to 10 in any conceivable manner for any regular user. I'm interested to hear if anyone feels other way and give any reasons why.

    Road Rash was one of the best racing games that ran well on a lower end hardware in the past. Speaking about the 1991 game.

    Yeah, same - the more info and the closer the launch the more I'm getting excited. Only 2 weeks left for most. Some can play it already next week.

    Now that every corner of the internet is reporting on Starfield I seem actually being excited. YT is filled with Starfield pre-content. I hope Starfield is as good as Witcher 3.

    In real life conditions the difference is quite small, but 980Pro is the better one.

    Still not building a new rig, but it seems that I've found the perfect case - Lian Li LANCOOL III Supports 420mm AIO in front and on top. Does not cost ludicrous amount also (160€).

    After manually installing latest 11 Canary Insider. ( Windows 11 Insider Preview 25931.1000 (rs_prerelease) amd64 ) After sliding up and down on the main context menu, the submenus might show a slightly transparent effect or completely transparent background. Like a lottery. I'd like it to be mildly transparent. Only option at this time is to use StartAllBack and use customized menus (classic context menu).

    Lexar NM790 4TB is the best(price)/optimal PCIe 4.0 NVMe for ~215€? Or what are the thoughts on NM790?

    When the PC is switched off then any USB device should be safe to remove.

    Too much drama these days. I see that being a "naive" opinion, yet it (the drama) seems like "cancel culture" at works.

    With 3090 at 1080p only game I'd doubt reaching high enough fps would be MS Flight Simulator, but fair point.

    I see, somehow missed it from the first post. 3090 is a good 1440p card, and at 1080p almost all games would run near 180 limit. Cheaper cards like RTX 3070 would do fine without ray tracing in games.

    Is the monitor (desired fps) 60Hz or 144Hz+?

    Pre-ordered it a month ago. Waiting for the release, but not really hyped. Hoping it's going to be as good as it's been indicated.
