LG PF1000U Ultra Short Throw Projector Giveaway
PrinceOfLove replied to CPotter's topic in LTT Releases
looks cool. don't have to have a huge room to use it due to short throw. -
The system has a 5960x and a Titan X. Even without any overclocking, it was locking up or bluescreening. I tested it with a normal size 750watt pus and the issue went away. I think it has something to do with the fact that the 3.3v power rail only has 20 amps on it but who knows. I did notice that the molex connectors added with the bend radius of the cables coming off the Sx600-G come close to touching the video card so I'm thinking an sfx-l may have some clearance issues.

Will it fit in the NCase M1 with a full length video card? My old SX600-G just wasn't powerful enough.

I am not an Owen Wilson fan, but I must disagree with your statement. The Royal Tenenbaums and The Life Aquatic were brilliant. Also, I am anxiously awaiting that Macbook review. I have owned several Airs and I currently have a 15" Retina, but I am really having trouble seeing how the new Macbook is a practical machine.

Vessel Username: Princeoflove Hardline Water Cooled PC Build Log - I was looking forward to this one. LG 34UM67 Curved Monitor Review

This series was brilliant! Please do more content like this. Also, I had no idea that a q6600 was that much faster than an e8400.

Well Met!

Power efficency seems like the most appealing thing about the new 9 series. The 970 is also at a great price point - essentially 780ti performance for half the price.

1 Million Subscribers - Thank you all! And a giveaway!

A classmate told me about the Linus Tech Tips Youtube Channel last year. The first video that came up on the search was the overkill build with the SLI Titans from last August. Ever since then, I have been checking the channel daily for new content. Congratulations on 1 million subscribers and I look forward to what you will produce in the future.- 22,217 replies

Can you do an overclocking guide to the 5960x (or x99 in general)? I have mine at 4.3ghz but it is just with the Asus "overclocking for idiots" button.
-
I have the x5650 with Server 2012r2 and it works great. I already had an x58 board with an i7 920 and I purchased the x5650 off ebay for $75. I have a very slight overclock on it (around 3.2 GHz) and it encodes videos in handbrake faster than my 4770k. I also have a LAMP stack running on it in Hyper-V and it has no problem keeping everything running quickly. I'm sure it's not all that great for gaming or single-threaded applications, but depending on your use case, it could be a great value (especially if you have an old x58 platform lying around).

LG G3 Review and.... TWENTY-FIVE Phone Giveaway?!
PrinceOfLove replied to LinusTech's topic in LTT Releases
The customizable onscreen buttons and the volume rocker on the back seem interesting. I hate how some apps on my phone (like the camera app) hide the onscreen button labels and turn them into dots. -
ASUS RoG G550JK Gaming Notebook & GIVEAWAY

Seems like a nice balance between size and performance.
