I use a wired controller and this is what I do and it works on every game except Everspace 2. Since the devs said this works for them I'm trying to understand why it doesn't for me.

    Looked into it a bit:
    -Connect your controller with USB.
    -Then run DS4
    -Turn on hide controller

Some games will still not work with wireless cause they won't recognise the controller as an input device, but with cable it should see it as a Windows rawinput - wich is supported by Unreal Engine, so DS4 should work too. DS4 basically translates the PS4 signal to a Windows rawinput or a Xinput signal  if I understand it correctrly.

Do you use it in wireless or cabled mode?

Anything specific you want to see?
Here's the desktop with Computer open (OS is in Bulgarian). I need to free up some space on my HDDs.

I'm also using ClassicShell, 7+ Taskbar Tweaker, Stardock Fences, ObjectDock and Icon Packager to achieve the complete look. Just looked trough some old picures of my desktop and it seems that I've used this theme for 10 years (I've been using this PC for 11 years now, plenty of hardware upgrades have been done). Actually this is the picture I'm talking about (back when it had Celeron G530, 4GB RAM and HD7470 2GB). You can see the date and time in the corner.

There's also the XP Luna theme that I first started to use, because I missed using XP. This picture is from 3.IV.2013, so a coupe of months older than the one above. And yes I did have both Office 2003 and Office 2010 installed at the same time, don't ask why, I actually don't remember. And the icons for the VMs you see in both of these picures are now on a dock on the right of my screen that auto-hides, that's why they aren't seen on the newest picture.

There's also the Luna Metallic (Silver?) and Royale/Royale Noir themes, but I don't have pictures of them. Honestly don't remember where I found them.
Here's also the start menu, almost forgot about it, using XP Zune theme for ClassicShell as well. It's not perfect, but it's good enough, Programs (Програми) opens the programs list like on XP and Shutdown (Изключване) opens the classic shutdown dialog.

What else I remember, but haven't taken a picure of - the replace file dialog (or whatever it's called) is the same as in XP also I've set it that when you right-click on a program in the taskbar it opens the XP menu, thumbnails and grouping/hiding labels are disabled for the programs in the taskbar. I've also "installed" the Windows Picture and Fax Viewer from XP, I did it years ago for two reasons - I had a 1366x768 screen and the smaller buttons on the XP Picture viewer took less space of the screen so I could see a bigger picure and the other reason is that animated gifs work in it, but don't work in the default Windows 7 Picture Viewer (which I now activate and use on Windows 10). The start buttons I found on the internet, but they were in English and I wanted them in Bulgarian like the rest of the OS, so I took screenshoots of a XP VM with these themes and made the buttons for ClassicShell myself.
If you want more information - just ask, and I'll answer to the best of my abilities.

And I've got an issue with the Model M2 - when I turn on my PC it works, but when it gets to Windows the keyboard just locks up and it's unresponsive, but if I restart it works perfectly fine. I'd have guessed that the caps have started going bad, but I've tried it on 3 different PCs and it only does this on the one I want to use it on, on the others it works no problem and I'm confused. So any ideas are welcome.

Do you have the setting in DS4 “hide controller” on? If not turn it on, and it should work.

Not sure if this is old enough, but it's 20 years old I guess, IBM really did know how to make a good membrane keyboard in the early 2000's it's still pleasant to type on it

Are you using the original repository or a fork? The original one is INSANELY OUTDATED and yet they dont wanna admit that.

the good old days when 7 different manufacturers ( Intel, AMD, IBM, Cyrix, IDT, Rise, ST ) used the same socket, so you only needed to swap CPU, and not the whole platform to upgrade.
