  1. No as it's way too tall for half-height.
  2. It all depends on exactly how they're going about it this time. There are many different methods to block internet access but there are also many ways around such blocks.
  3. No. Short of physical barriers, nothing in computing, especially security is guaranteed.
  4. I had no idea that was a thing. Thanks a whole bunch mate. I'll look into that. Thanks.
  5. Yeah I mean crop, sorry. I'll explain it a another way. Original image is say 2500x2500 I'd like to crop the image so I've got a 2x3 version, and a 16x9 version, etc. So the sizes would be 3x2 2500x1667, 16x9 2500x1406, 21x9 2500x1047, and 32x9 2500x703. At the moment I'm using https://andrew.hedges.name/experiments/aspect_ratio/ and doing it all manually.
  6. Every now and then I get anywhere up to a few hundred pictures that need to be cropped. Usually it's 2x3, 3x2, 16x9, 9x16, 21x9, and 32x9. This wouldn't be a problem if all the pictures were all the same size but they often aren't. Is there a Gimp addon or separate utility where I can input the resolution of picture, and get back resolutions at the above ratios that also fit within the original resolution?
  7. It's locked at the bios level. It might be possible to get a modded bios though I'm not sure about the 2080. Quadro cards allow up to six. AMD card I believe still allow up to six on consumer cards. Though a DP splitter will be needed. I'm not aware of any current gen non-proprietary cards that can run 7 displays.
  8. So more like 900ish watts then. Still got plenty of room.
  9. Some napkin math shows it'll be about 850ish peak watts. Your 1300w PSU is enough.
  10. I think it's from an anime though not sure.
  11. No, those 4 pins with the key in the middle are what mainly carry the analog signal.
  12. Had these for the last 4 or so years. Real good imho.
  13. That sounds weird. You did get it from http://www.winamp.com/ right?
  14. I honestly can't remember. Yeah Winamp is still a thing.
  15. RTX is not ray tracing. RTX is NVida's implementation of it. They didn't invent it. Can we please not confuse the two.
  16. The important things are brand/model, speed, timings. It's recommended to get as many attributes as close as possible. In this case the CL16 is mostly due to it being 3200mhz. In theory it should work just fine.
  17. I see. Let me get this straight. The 'main router', is it a modem/gateway or just a WiFi AP? You tell by looking at the ports. Are there multiple ethernet ports with one labelled WAN? If it is a WAN port then you've got a separated NTD and gateway setup. You can add a simple switch and WiFi APs where ever you need them. However each WiFi AP will act as separate WiFi network. To have a single WiFi network using multiple APs, you'll need to get Mesh compatible APs. Since I don't know how you ISP has things setup so for security, it's important that your devices connect via the gateway and not directly to the NTD.
  18. Digital out is TOSLINK. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TOSLINK Most good audio gear still has it though it is very slowly disappearing.
  19. You need to provide more info mate. Is this for redundancy? Or speed? Is the same ISP or different ones? If you want speed and these fibre lines are from the same ISP, then you just ask them to bond the connections. They'll send you their modem that can do it. However if they're different ISP's or your ISP refuses. There are third party services that can set it up for redundancy. You can merge them yourself but it requires somewhat expensive hardware and some networking knowledge OR a bunch of networking knowledge with less expensive hardware.
  20. I believe it's just an .ini setting if it doesn't work out of the box, especially for the special edition. It's been a long time since I last played so can't remember. There are a couple ultra-wide mods on the Nexusmods you might want to check out. Though I don't know if any properly support 24:9.
  21. They are practically the same apart from the numpad.
