I know deep inside OP want this card.

Me personally i want the THICC2, but only if it got great cooling performance.

If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
Looking at the seller "Telecom Online" they have a lot of items that are far below MSRP. There's RTX2080Tis for 500 pounds (normally more than 1000 pounds), RTX 2080's for 300 pounds, Threadripper CPUs for under 200 pounds, etc. The GTX 1080 series cards have been out of production for over a year, very unlikely stores still have new stock. The business address listed for the seller is a residential house in the Netherlands. Very high likelihood it's a scam account. Regardless of any buyer protections Amazon offers I would suggest you don't take the risk.

If you do NOT have room to fit a large dual tower heatsink air cooler, like the NH-D15 and DRP4, then yes a 280mm+ AIO is a good choice.
If however ur using a normal average tower case which does have room for one, there is no reason not to use a top end Air Cooler unless you really hate the aesthetics of them. At which point if aesthetics mean that much one shouldnt be asking about if its 'worth it' or not.

In terms of cooling performance the route for upgrades should be.

    Stock
    120,140mm AIOs for SFF builds.
Mid Range Air (240mm AIO for SSF/height restricted builds)
Top end Air (280mm, 360mm AIO for SSF / height restricted builds)
    Beginner custom loop (Aluminium)
    Veteran custom loop (Copper)
Enthusiast custom loop (overkill & aesthetics)

Do not get a Ryzen 5 2400G if you're buying a dedicated graphics card. An Ryzen 5 1600 costs about the same but offers two more cores and utilizes the RX 570 way better.

I put my components in an aquarium and run the I/O through a piece of car exhaust to make it easier to keep sealed. I used thermal epoxy to affix some copper foam boilers to the CPU lid and GPU die. I let it boil like usual.

Instead of condensing the hot vapor back into liquid, I can just store it into an expanding tower of food packaging bags being pulled up by a pulley tied to a D.va Nerf toy as a counterweight. The bags being pulled up also reduces the pressure inside the aquarium to help lower the boiling point of the fluid.

Because the vapor is being passively stored, the system makes almost no sound. It only produces a super stealthy burbling noise that I don't hear unless I put my ear next to the case and listen carefully.

Once I am taking a break or done for the day, I use a powerful industrial chiller to quickly condense the vapor back down into liquid. All the noise to extract the heat can happen at once at whatever time is convenient. You can see this happening in the video, although there is also a standing fan in the background making noise.
