  1. My school is running pirated versions of Windows 7 Ultimate on old P4's..
  2. I average at 60-69 for random paragraphs, and 77-85 for normal writing.
  3. Mark this post Solved, if you're done Or people will keep coming in..
  4. That does not make any difference whatsoever. The ACX cooler is what matters. Even if you get the card from EVGA(reference) that will have the same cooler.. And not the ACX one. Ultimately you'll just sacrifice performance. The only reason you should buy a Reference card is when you plan to watercool it, take it apart and put a waterblock on it. If you don't want to, then just get the ACX version and rock on
  5. EVGA's ACX one, or if you just don't care for the performance and noise levels, then just get the Reference one.. But you will ultimately be better with EVGA's one.
  6. I don't think he knows how to. @Ironhero, open your start menu, right click on "Computer" and select Properties. And it should be listed there.
  7. I'm a guy.. AAAAA! Not a "Newborn Sister". But still.. ty
  8. Go the Intel route on this one, it's much more upgradable..
  9. Boot times in my opinion do not matter all that much... Well, at least who does really shut down their computer? Everyone just use sleep, and it resumes in like 3-4 seconds easily..
  10. Well, I'm the newborn baby then..
  11. If you can wait till the mid of September then I'd say get the 860k. Or if you just want to get something now, then get the 760k. EDIT: Btw, don't buy Windows 8.1 from there, get it from G2a for really cheap. Or from Reddit for even cheaper! And throw the left-over money on a better GPU. Preferably the 270 in this case. 12. I used this once about 2 years ago and never used it again and ultimately forgot about it later on, because I'm the kind of person who just hits the Windows key and types in what he wants and gets there faster than having to search for that specific thing in that gigantic list.
  13. I think he's right IMHO, very fair points regardless..
  14. Um, the methods are shown on Arctic Silver's website for Intel CPUs. Link: http://www.arcticsilver.com/intel_application_method.html# You're Welcome
  15. Awarding yourself "Best Answer". xDD
  16. No, he's right. This forum isn't made to explain things related to science. Just search Folding@Home and you'll get so much results... Really bro, try it for once There's already a sticky thread dedicated to answer that question and you've got more posts than me. You should be the one who's sensible.
  17. I'd go with Gigabyte, it's just a superior cooler. If you want looks and aesthetics, then go for the MSI one. Both are good it's just that I find Gigabyte's better
