  1. Please use metric system when dealing with computers. You really had us all worried here. 30° on idle is fine.
  2. Start with the first one on the list and move from there.
  3. If you make an iso file and mount it as a virtual DVD it's going to be exactly the same as if you had a physical DVD. Windows 8 can mount iso files out of the box, for windows 7 you can use something like daemon tools
  4. You can find a computer that can read DVDs, make an iso image and mount the image on your computer.
  5. Ummm... Why is the title 'new CPU' if you are going to buy a prebuilt system?
  6. http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/2140-linus-tech-tips-forum-code-of-conduct/ Look at the 4.3
  7. 80 is to much on idle. Is the fan pulling air from the cpu heatsink or pushing it through?
  8. Wait until you have a bit more money and get a new cpu/ram/mobo. It's a prettty outdated platform (cpu compatibility, ddr2...), so it might be a good time to switch to something newer.
  9. The smell is usually a very bad sign.
  10. If it also happened on integrated gpu, then your GPU isn't the problem. Try another monitor(or TV or something) and see if it happens again.
  11. You should post all your specs. You'll probably be fine though.
  12. I have a crappy onbard sound so i bought a 30€ xonar dgx. It sounds better and also gets loud enough (i had to have it on 100% volume before all the time). I'm sure an external dac and amp would sound better, but i didn't really want to sped too much money at the time. And you can't get an external amp/dac for 30€.
