    Razer hate

They make a pretty good laptop. Otherwise, for peripherals, you're just better off with companies like Filco or Corsair or Logitech, who make better peripherals for around the same price.
  2. But the video is misleading, and pushing 400k views with nearly no downvotes. You can sustain your fundamental argument, but a single line of plain text with a link in the description doesn't make it look like any less like Apple hate for the sake of Apple hate, considering the factual oversight. Do what you do. I'm sure this video is driving driving revenue for y'all.
  3. Filco Majestouch 2 Convertible with Cherry MX Brown switches and an Olivette abs keycap set.
  4. I'm currently using a Logitech G502, Filco Majestouch 2 Convertible with Cherry MX Brown switches, an Overwatch Razer Goliathus Speed mousepad, a Blue Yeti Mic, Beoplay H6 headphones, Schiit Magni 2 Uber/Modi 2 Uber, and 2x Yamaha HS5's.
  5. Every K70 I can find looks like this, which uses the layout shown in the second line of the image I shared.
  6. Here are the most common 'bottom rows' featured on mechanical keyboards. The top one is what is usually considered to be 'standard' because most aftermarket keycap sets are made to fit it.
  7. The snowball doesn't have a battery. It's still getting power after shutdown. So the USB port is still feeding power.
  8. The Cooler Master Storm TK has a non-standard bottom row, which can be annoying if you ever want to change out the keycaps.
  9. The Filco Majestouch 2 TKL The Keyed Up Labs (KUL) ES-87 The WASD Keyboards V2 TKL The Ducky One TKL These are the mostly solidly built, no BS ten-key-less keyboards you can buy.
  10. When you're looking for your next keyboard, look for one with a standard bottom row. Ducky, Filco, KUL, MK, CoolerMaster, WASD Keyboards.
  11. Anker makes a USB hub with an integrated Ethernet port. I'm also generally a fan of Anker. If you buy a USB 3.0 based hub and connect it via a USB 3.0 port on your computer, you probably won't notice any degraded connections. There's so much headroom over a USB 3.0 connection, you'll be fine in most real world circumstances.
  12. Original article via the Wall Street Journal: http://www.wsj.com/articles/if-your-teacher-sounds-like-a-robot-you-might-be-on-to-something-1462546621 Article on the topic by The Verge: http://www.theverge.com/2016/5/6/11612520/ta-powered-by-ibm-watson Quotes from The Verge article. So basically, as I see it, this could drastically change how some forums work where there is a lot of question-answer conversations going on. A bot that observes any community enough could scan for questions and *accurately* respond to them if they're common enough. I think this is pretty great. And pretty crazy. And pretty scary. We may be talking with bots right now and not fully realize it.
  13. The last Razer keyboard I bought ended up getting RMA's twice before I got a suitable product. I haven't bought Razer since.
  14. I'd probably recommend a usb keyboard to use apart from the laptop. A Poker II or Poker 3 would be a compact mechanical option. Otherwise, something like the Apple wireless keyboard. I believe Logitech has some nice light wired and wireless keyboards, also.
  15. Gaming on a Model M probably won't go too well. The max rollover of a Model M is something like 2-4 simultaneous key presses. For example, if you're jumping (spacebar), crouching (ctrl), moving diagonally (w, a) and trying to reload (e), something's going to give. More than likely something will give before that, because you won't stop completely depressing a key before you start pressing another one. Won't be a problem for all games, but it'll stop ya more often than you think.
