ImpulsiveTech reacted to Alex Atkin UK in Help, choppy graphic despite high FPS
What speed RAM are you using? As I found my frame time improved dramatically going from 2400Mhz to 3200Mhz.

ImpulsiveTech got a reaction from RollinLower in 2x 240mm RAD in Meshify C Ultra compact - High End AIO Temp

9900k on NZXT x52 kraken and Aorus 2080ti Waterforce 240mm AIO
Both tightly fitted in my Meshify C Case. Top and front are both intake SP fans.
Take a look at my temps.
After hours of gaming my cpu and gpu temp never exceeds 60. Sick as hell

ImpulsiveTech reacted to Mr.Stork in Low Fps & GPU usage, No throttling/bottleneck
In other games like Tomb Raider, Sniper GW 3, etc... the GPU usage is 99% with 70+ fps Ultra. But in Team Fortress 2 (TF2), the usage is like 40-50% 100+fps, also comes lower or higher depending on the scenes. There's no throttling as other games prove that. My friend suggested maybe the CPU is 100% in other cores, but it doesn't seem that's the case, here's a screenshot of MSI AB overlay while in-game: https://imgur.com/y3NFJYr. It's 500 fps in that image as the map is low quality and there's no players/fights going on. Even in fights/ton of people, there's no CPU core usage above 90%, tf2 handles multithread very well. (No fps limit too)
Specs:
i5-8400
1660ti
16gbx1 (it's shouldn't be ram, cuz the other games use 99% of GPU while 70+fps)
Z370M-D3H (Mboard)
What's going on? Please help.
Thanks in advance.

ImpulsiveTech reacted to ThePD in Regret with 2080ti SLI!
SLI has always been a mixed bag for people. I had a Lenovo Y500 that had a 750M in it, I then got the second 750M for the other side of the laptop and ran it in SLI no problems. I saw fantastic performance with SLI on the laptop. Granted, getting SLI at that time in that lapop was 125 dollars, not 1500 dollars for a 2080ti. SLI has always been like a massive gamble, especially at the pricepoint of the RTX lineup.
