Darkrunner got a reaction from Hunlight in 21:9 vs 31:10 vs 16:9 New monitor
The Dp cable that comes with the Asus monitor will do 1440p 100Hz

The Hdmi cable you mentioned will also work, if you dont need Earc or 8k you dont need Hdmi 2.1

Still no regrets about my 43″ inch monitor 32:10 is a lot nicer than 21:9

These are the widescreen monitors I have had in recent weeks, (Love 30 Days Money Back Guarantee )

    -Acer ED347CKR
    -BenQ EX3501R
    -Asus ROG Strix XG35VQ
    -Samsung LC43J890DKU
    -Samsung C49HG90 Zwart

The Acer quickly fell off due to bleeding, read alot that the Predator also have this problem alot.

    Benq vs Asus.
Asus have better black, Benq its colors are not as similar as the Asus across the entire width of the screen,
the Asus was actually very good and decided to keep it.

Then a friend of mine showed his 49 ″ and was curious about it

So I ordered the Samsung 49 ″, it was way too wide for me and the 1080p was meh.

Then i saw a 43 ″  and ordered that one

WOW what an image, it is much more fun to play on a 32:10 compared to a 21: 9 the extra width is nicer and not too wide compared to a 49inch,
it is slightly lower than 34/35 ″ 21 : 9 but it gives a lot more widescreen feeling, colors and black are also great on the 43″  Samsung, but no Freesync i gonne keep this one for a few weeks, send it back and gonne buy the Lenovo Legion Y44w-10, only 2 shops have it here so the price is high atm.

The 43″  is 3840 x 1200 vs 3440x1440 only 300.000 less pixels on the 43″ :good for your Gpu, i see no diffrence in dpi in my 35″  34400x1440p Asus and my 43″  3840x1200 Samsung, can recommend everyone to give 32:10 3840x1200 a try.

    Just ordered a new Sapphire NITRO+ Radeon RX Vega 64 for ( €366) ($408)

No good exp with the Asus strix coolers/termal pads and €366 is a great price for a Vega64
