Thermally, it doesn't matter if the fans are pushing air through or pulling it. Just go with whatever you think looks best aesthetically, other than that it's the standard fan mounting rules: in through bottom/front of the case, out through back/top. Go for neutral or positive pressure, negative sucks dust in through all of the case cracks.

I assume you mean push vs pull, in which case it's irrelevant for temperatures. However, it's easier to blow out dust with a pull setup.

I have 4 Arctic p12 PWM fans on a 240mm rad and it cools both my gpu and cpu, gpu at 40 degrees running unigine heaven and the cpu at 70 degrees running p95 small fft stress test after 10 minutes.

The Corsair ML120s also work pretty damn good for rads, I have a few for intake fans on some of my systems, but also for pushing through rads for exhaust at top of case.

depends on the overall layout and the case's location. I tend to put the exhaust side near a wall and leave the intake open to free room, unless I need a heater.

Use static pressure fans, not airflow ones. Get the Corsair sp120 series fans. They are a bit whooshy at full speed but good
