Foxis reacted to AzogBiceps in What is nahimic companion and why is it suddenly on my custom pc?
This thing is a nightmare, impossible to uninstall it normally, you have to do a lot of manual manipulations:
Block nhnotifsys.exe with your antivirus (It's the software that appears in your system tray you can also see it running in the task manager as A-Volute so right click and open file location to find the executable)
Open Task Scheduler (run as admin) -> disable/delete NahimicSvc32Run, NahimicSvc64Run, NahimicTask32, NahimicTask64
Device Manager (run as admin) -> Sound, video and game controllers -> disable "nahimic mirroring device" (uninstalling it just makes it reappear on next boot, disabling leaves it disabled)
Device Manager (run as admin) -> Software components -> disable "A-Volute Nh3 Audio Effects Component" (uninstalling it just makes it reappear on next boot, disabling leaves it disabled)
Open Services.msc (run as admin), right click Nahimic, open properties stop the service and then disable it then in the Recovery tab ensure that Take No Action is selected for First, Second and Subsequent failures.
This works for some people, not for others...

I mean it is a step below my alc1220 sound chip in my motherboard but it will sound fine with 80ohm. Also if you get the 80 ohm you can always get an amp/dac in the future. Like the FX dac x6. It is a pretty good starter dac.
https://www.amazon.com/FX-Audio-Optical-Coaxial-Amplifier/dp/B01HERNVQQ
Also it is a dac with an amp. So no need to get another amp.

The ohm is not always really important, the nominal SPL (sensitivity in dB) is important too.
My Amiron Wireless (32ohm) with SPL of 100dB and Amiron Home (250ohm) with SPL 102dB have almost the same sound volume using with my phone. The Amiron Home is loud enough too when connected to my motherboard. But when using my DT880 250ohm, which has lower SPL of 96, not really loud. To fix that, I have the Fiio E10K.
100$ extra is a scam, I'd be looking else where or go with the 32ohm.

Different in some places. Depends entirely where you live and imo it's not worth the extra $100 depending on the actual pricing of the 80 ohm as the pricing could be inflated due to supply chain issues

If BSOD is only when you're using second drive, then check/replace SATA cable.

The Hyper 212 RGB BE would be plenty for cooling as well. It's not a bad option if you're into the look.
If it's a bit cheaper, the PR Slim is also a good option: https://www.komplett.se/product/918597/datorutrustning/datorkomponenter/kylningvattenkylning/cpu-luftkylning/be-quiet-pure-rock-slim-cpu-kylare#

Or when he realizes OP has internet but he doesn't... he might try switching the LAN ports himself and then OP has no internet and he has it all
Or they realize you ( @Foxis ) are messing with their connection and they end up resetting your router and changing the default password. You'll both end up spending more time trying to one up each other rather than simply using the internet together.

Why would you assume all that?
What if he has a broke friend crashing on his couch, paying nothing, and hogging all his bandwidth?
Or what if it's a tenant who pays for rent but nothing towards internet and this guy is sharing his network with him out of charity?
There could be a load of valid reasons here.

Foxis got a reaction from r2724r16 in block lan user
hello i have a huawei b525 and i wanna block a specific user using lan or disabling the lan ports except 1 (no questions please why lol)
i was able to go to DHCP settings and only set the ip range between 192.168.8.111 to 111 and that was my ipv4 adress on my pc. but i cant just limit it to one only so im blocking everyone. (im not very good at this stuff but if you say i have to start from the beggining... no thats not how it works.)

I dont get full GPU usage either. Your getting a decent frame rate, As long as its playable. Just wait for the devs to fix the game.
