    If I remember correctly, Apex has a FPS counter I don't know if it also has a ping counter but it might be worth to check. But it does have a sever selection in the title screen with ping stats, it should be in the bottom middle. I looked up Spectrum and they seem to only have 100 Mbps, which isn't bad in my opinion, I also have 100 Mbps. You really don't need a lot of speed to play an online game.

    Like you said, you're only having problem with these two games. One, ubisoft games are know to be poorly optimize (from what I've heard) and two, Apex is still a new recent game I doubt it's properly optimized for a GPU like the 1060. I'm pretty sure the proper way to do this is to uninstall the current drivers using the corresponding GPU and THEN install the new GPU. Also, when using DDU or uninstalling drivers make sure to first download the latest drivers, disconnect the PC from the internet, uninstall / DDU the drivers, install the new drivers, and at the end connect the PC back to the internet.

    I was jokingly thinking about this but anyways I've been using google DNS for a few days now and no issues. I would like to use Cloudflare DNS though, what could be the issue then?

    Yeah with Google about a year ago, I haven't used it recently though. I've only ever used Google and Cloudflare, I've never heard of Quad9 until today.

    I already tried that once before a few weeks back, along with ipconfig release and renew and the problem comes back.

    Hello, When I change the DNS on my router to Cloudflare DNS, webpages load slow I get the error DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_BAD_CONFIG at random times. I already tested without using Cloudflare DNS and let my router use the default for a few days and no errors, I then use Cloudflare DNS again the problems start 2 days later. Any idea what's happening?

    Oh. Alright, I'll do it again but when folding this time lol I have a bigger fan at 140mm that's at the top (according to the specs here), maybe I should change it back to that. Why not a side intake fan? According to the quote below, an intake fan would better than an exhaust fan. Also, I don't have any more system fan headers to plug fans to, my motherboard only has 2. @justpoet, would a cardboard funnel be ok to use or would it be too dangerous?

    So I've been folding with my GPU today and the temps of the CPU are strangely high, I'm guessing it's because of the heat that the GPU is giving out. I opened Overwatch for few seconds before taking the pic but the max temps shouldn't have been affected.

    So I open FAH and I find my apu listed as folding and not my Radeon RX 580 GPU, yesterday's work is gone too. I changed it to use my 580 but it still says it's folding with the Ryzen Vega even though the the 580 is actually doing the work.

    The fans came preinstalled and they're pointing in the right direction, I have one intake and one exhaust. I did your test and the temps are pretty much the same. I have the Rosewill Challenger, everything is being cooled with fans. One intake, one exhaust, stock CPU fan. I used to use both the top and rear exhaust and no intake, I just changed it to front intake and rear exhaust last month. I would do that but I don't know how and I don't have the time to figure it out because of school.

    Alright I deleted the cpu slot, Is there a way to have the GPU running when in light mode? Also the work associated with cpu is gone from the work queue, did it get deleted too?

    Hello, I'm new to folding and have a few questions. When on medium folding power CPU temp goes up to 80 C - 90 C, yesterday it went up to 99 C so I put it back to light. Is there a way to limit folding so it doesn't go pass a certain temperature? Would it be better to use my cpu to fold or graphics card? How do I fold with my graphics card when in light mode? I mostly fold in light mode and the work in the graphics card stays in idle. specs: Ryzen 2400g XFX RX 580 GTS Black Edition 1425MHz OC+ Corsair CXM 550W 80+ Bronze Everything is at stock settings with stock cooling Below are the values when folding is at medium and light.     Is 'Microsoft Store' listed under apps and features? If yes, click on it, then click on advance options, and then reset. If not, go to the troubleshoot and run the windows update troubleshooter. After that, check for updates. If that doesn't fix it, search for PowerShell and run as administrator and run this command: Get-AppXPackage *WindowsStore* -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

    What are the processes that are high in CPU usage? And I agree with homeap5 uninstall Norton a get a better AV, I suggest Kaspersky. You can look at other good AV here: https://www.av-test.org/en/antivirus/home-windows/windows-10/april-2019/

    Why are you using a powerline adapter? Get a CAT 6 ethernet cable, plug it straight into the router and the PC with nothing in between the PC and router, Just the cable.

    The Gembird is an ATX PSU and the Deepcool WAVE V2 has a PSU slot of ATX. So yes, it's compatible.

    Try this again, now that SFC completed: windows settings> update and security> troubleshoot> windows store apps If that doesnt fix it, you can do a clean windows install. Also, registry cleaners do more harm than good. Don't use them.

    What do you mean it stopped, did it gave an error? SFC and the cleanup image will take some time to complete. If there's no error message and the PC is still running fine, the command is still running. Open task manager and you'll be able to see that there's disk usage.
