Well, yeah, no one's arguing that. The OP set the rules that he wants new only though. I'm just following those rules  I'm not gonna be that guy that tries to convince him otherwise.

Depends. The GPU in the A6/A8 is definitely faster (see the Witcher 3 in the video below). The CPU is better though. So for CPU bound games the 200GE wins and for GPU bound the A6/A8 wins

Since OP seems upgrade minded, I'd be inclined to recommend the graphics sacrifice in favor of CPU power because a cheap graphics card later would require no CPU swap

If you have to buy new, I just made a build myself very similar to this!

See my videos here:

Here's another video  that shows performance in many more games (this one is not mine):

I would get the B450 motherboard over the A320 because on the A320 you can not overclock.

@lee32uk @Eastman51 You guys realize @jerubedo is right, right? We actually just studied this very case in the criminal justice section of our social studies class: the use of Windows 10 without activation. We defined it as piracy and it was our goal to debate the ethicality of it. It wasn't even a question weather it was piracy or not. The teacher just said that it was.

Plus he referenced an actual law firm and standardised dictionaries/books, and sections of legal code. Based on those oficial definitions and the sections and the EULA I'd say its without a doubt piracy.

My parents were the same when I was younger. I got my own money now, and make these decisions for myself. My parents have literally come to me before and asked "how can you afford all this" thinking im selling drugs. He may still say no, but he should at least understand his hard stance against used hardware is not accurate. There will always be exceptions, but the vast majority is just fine.

I have purchased over 20 used graphics cards, overclocked them all, ran them all day, they all worked fine (480s, furys, 760s, 780s, 750 tis, 770s, 1070s, 1080s, fury x, 390, 390x, the list goes on). Most of them were mining GPUs, I knew this. I've built 3 quad CPU servers, 1 dual CPU server, and over 3 entire computers where EVERY component was purchased used. The only component I ever received broken, was a $25 RAID card for one of the servers, and I got a refund within 24 hours. I've built or upgraded at least 5 friends PCs with something like a used CPU or GPU. They all have been overclocked and abused, some for years now. I live and breath used hardware. The first thing I do to any used item I buy is torture test it for stability. I've had GPUs from 2009-~2015 heavily overclocked and running for their entire life. I overclock the hell out of everything I own. Nothing has ever failed. I had a 5820K on what would be considered unsafe voltages with a super high overclock and I abused the hell out of it for 2 years straight. Never had an issue. We have an entire folding community here (im a member, and my hardware has participated for events lasting even a month straight). Ask them how many components they've had fail. Components are meant to be used, for years(decades even) we see here even with unsafe voltages being pumped through them all day every day, for months and years, I've yet to have a failure. I've taken dead computers that don't work, with disgusting amounts of dust on everything, found out one component failed, cleaned the rest of the parts with compressed air, then ran the other parts with no issues for years after until I sold them to move on. Through this, I have saved THOUSANDS of dollars, and gotten more performance than I ever would have buying new. I have saved so much money in fact, that I pretty much refuse to buy new hardware unless the deal is so close to the price is used I might as well just buy new. It makes no sense to me to pay twice as much, for the same performance, simply because Its not sealed from the factory. I did a paper for my class last year doing a comparison. To get the same performance with new hardware to equal my PC I built for $850 used, It was something like $1700 to get the same if I bought everything new. I've run this all-used PC, with everything heavily overclocked, for almost a year now.

On top of all of that, if you get a broken/defective/unstable part from eBay, you're backed by their money guarantee, and you get a refund, even if refunds aren't accepted by the seller. You are not paying some guy on craigslist $100 cash and hoping whatever you bought works. People like you strapped for cash need to understand this most. Computers don't have to be expensive.
