  1. Well maybe it has loud fan and lacks ocp Might be tier S otherwise. Manufacturers put tight protections on psus that are made of questionable parts. Funny enough its still better to have 105C Japanese cartel caps without otp than 85C fuhyooouuu or Capxon with otp if you are not swapping psus before they turn 5 years old.
  2. Its not like nvidia hw can run real ray tracing in anything modern looking. Quake 2...
  3. Sennheiser rs185 are open. You'll need a bt receiver too.
  4. Its not how free market works. Apple has got away with this anti competitive extortion for way too long.

Also an added fan as p350x has no exhaust on default. Easiest way to save 20$ is to swap cooler to hyper 212. Not as quiet but should still allow some oc.
  7. You can always stream using shadowplay too if you have nVidia gpu. Its pretty lightweight.
  8. Its pretty much the same game nowadays as consoles are x86. Thats why the ports usually run 60fps even with bad old parts like fx8000-series. FX8350 is about twice as fast as the console jaguar. Pretty much same ipc but double clock speed.
  9. Dont pay that kind of money for very old cpu. You can get 8600K/9600K and a new motherboard instead. Or are those some weird dollars worth 0.2-0.3 US?
  10. So you can buy and distribute apps to ios devices without using Apples store? Cool. I thought it was a closed platform where you are forced to pay Apple.
  11. So you think Microsoft has the right to do the same? 20-30% for every program purchased for windows?
  12. Why do you ask for help if you know better? And you dont... You can oc memory with asrock boards too. If you dont need more pcie-slots, you dont need atx. Better off saving a bit or getting a decent cooler for cpu. Both of those Corsair psus are better longevity wise(made from quality parts), rm550x is a lot better in everything. 140mm fans have longer lifespan? Arctic fans have 5 year warranty so I would trust those over Fractals better branded stuff. 140mm moves more air, but does 120mm move enough air? Plus I just think 50£ 480GB ssd offers better value than a 40£ 250GB one, but what do I know.
  13. I would buy two cheap Arctic F12/P12 pwm fans and spend the difference on quality psu. Corsair tx550m is +10£ and rm550x +20£. Another change I would make is the motherboard. Just get an Asrock b450m pro4. It has equal or better vrm and is 20£ cheaper. You can buy a cooler with that or add 10£ to budget and get a 480GB sandisk ssd.
  14. But its not only your choice if you live in a populated area. Your choice affects other people too.
  15. You really think you can reason with anti-vaxxers? It's a waste of time as they are like religious people. You would have to prove a negative. And vast majority of them would still reject that proof based on some paranoid ramblings of a non scientist. No vaccines and child mortality rates will spike to early 1900:s numbers. You have to protect people from their own stupidity as the diseases can take innocents too.
  16. Did you install the software(cam)? What rpm is pump and fan running?
  17. That is true. Fan blowing against a radiator will make much more noise as the airflow is more restricted.
  18. Is this a troll topic? Or wtf is going on? I would like to see a cpu or gpu cooler run under 15dB on full load like these loud psu fans. Plus opening up the top of the case for 360 radiator will leak all noise out. Hx1200 is louder than rm750x.
  19. So how are you going to cool cpu? No fans and 200W load? 600rpm psu fan makes no difference when the system is under load.
  20. Well you are still better of spending on other parts. Most hard drives make more noise than 600rpm fan.
  21. There is really no sense in getting a passive psu. RM750X runs about 600rpm till 525W in a hot box.
  22. New consumer ssd:s will last about 0,2 drive writes per day. So if you dump something like 400GB of video onto that ssd, it might die in 2,5 years. Corsair mp510 960GB has 1700tbw and mx500 360tbw. Who cares if the psu fan spins at 600-800rpm? You would need a special built room to measure a difference in dB output between systems running a passive psu or one with 600rpm.
  23. Tried maxing out pump and fan speed? Otherwise it has to be a faulty unit or very low mounting pressure.
  24. Does it run as hot with side panel off?
  25. And tubes are under the rad? It might not make a difference but if there is some air in the loop you want it to settle to the radiator and not in the pump block or tubes.
