  1. For context and what makes this a bit unique: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=APb_DGj0PFI
  2. They ship it too so I doubt it would even be fulfilled (shipped). They’d probably pocket the money and Amazon would refund you. The only real looser here is Amazon I think, and any store silly enough to honor a price match.
  3. I’d be shocked if they honored this. It’s well outside of any normal sale.
  4. They have some feedback: a single 1-star rating, so definitely a scam
  5. One of the best single player campaigns I've ever played. Definitely recommended to anyone who's never played it.
  6. I don’t follow. Could you expand on this? Are you referring to harmonics?
  7. “Sorry, the file you have requested does not exist.“ edit: not sure what happened the first three times I clicked it but it works now. Clickable link: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1fSjL0X1CjoUBtbaWcBam9TuczQYK2VzOOTfrgydfADM/edit?usp=sharing
  8. Looks like a decent deal on some tasteful (IMHO) RAM! If I were in the market for more I’d consider jumping on it and then see if a better deal comes on Black Friday. As for your software concerns, I have come to detest all the manufacturers RGB software. I’ve really liked OpenRGB. It doesn’t support everything but it supports quite a lot, it’s open source, and is regularly updated. It’s also not garbage borderline malware. I highly recommend checking it out. Not affiliated at all, I just really like it.
  9. with those $50 options you’re comparing apples and oranges in terms of stability and quality. The ergotrons are frankly tanks in terms of build quality and keeping your monitor stable.
  10. Solid arm. I’ve had it for about a year on my 34” Ultrawide. Definitely worth it at $65; I think I paid near $90 for it. Tempted to pick up another…
  11. Yes!!! Automatically rule out some items as just plain bad (at any price) but I’d also love a price to performance rating of sorts. For example, a decent performing case goes on sale is definitely worth it more than what a one time review would reflect. Same for pretty much any component; a 5800X is not very compelling at $450 but $330 (as I’ve seen it recently) is much more compelling.
  12. How difficult is it to relocate from the US to BC and get approval to work? Is remote work from the US an option for any of the positions? Would you need approval in that case? It looks like some are BC only but others don’t specify a location. Edit: they now have BC listed on all the positions (I think it was missing from the floatplane ones initially) I think I’d be a pretty good fit for the engineering positions. I’ve got a bachelors and masters in Electrical and Computer engineering, focused primarily on C/C++ and more recently Python. I’ve also done PCB design, manufacturing, assembly (soldering) and associated software. I’m basically a tinkerer. I’ve also been building computers since I was about 10.
  13. The first two were quite good. In the first one, some kinks needed to be worked out in the verification system but I thought it was fantastic. I think the 3rd one was also decent; I kinda stopped following after that....
  14. Bots will often snatch up codes when posted directly. Asking for DM's largely wards that off.
  15. I’d probably hide the code and PM it to someone who gives you the best reply in this thread or something, otherwise bots will probably grab it
  16. I don't have an answer to this as I am curious about this as well. I'm planning on putting a water block on it (probably Alphacool's as that's the only one I can find in stock and it's a reasonable price) so I'm mainly concerned about the pads on the back.
  17. Their twitter said it was all sold out ....they could be trying to thin the herd, but I'd be surprised.
  18. Man, that was tough on my iPhone (lttstore is blocked at work and it’s all I brought today). I finally got through and entered the 3070 queue at 9065 out of 9083. Based on comments a bit further up, it looks like they’re all sold out…why hasn’t it kicked me out of the queue? I’m at 4738 of 6110 right now and it’s still going down
  19. Oh man, I didn’t realize you could skip two questions; I thought skipping would cost a life.
  20. lttstore.com handled it like a champ. Other than getting stuck on "verifying", which was already noted, I didn't see any issues. Kudos to the team!
  21. This has been discussed pretty extensively in this thread. I'd suggest you read through those arguments. My comments on it are below, and a number of other (likely better) comments followed shortly thereafter.
  22. There was a segment around the 3/4 mark in yesterday's video. Though the video is still live, it looks like the segment with the information for the Verified Actual Gamer program was removed. In that segment they partially stated the links to go to (there was a code you had to understand and enter it as part of the URL).The links were posted earlier in this thread if you're curious, but I imagine they will be different next time and they currently just redirect you to a page that now reads: The current round is over, but it will happen again sometime in the future (yet undisclosed). The jumping through hoops part is (ideally) to slow down the bots and scalpers so only "Verified Actual Gamers" can buy what's available.
  23. It went live yesterday but they sold out of the stock they had in about 20 minutes. There will be additional stock sometime in the future, but few details have been announced; we know they are working with companies to get AMD products, presumably in addition to more Nvidia GPUs, but no details about when, what, or how exactly have been announced.
  24. I was only able to get 13 of the 15, but this should give you an idea: https://imgur.com/a/aLmLgLt The order of the questions changed but I think the questions themselves were the same. If you answered one incorrectly you lost a heart and got to try that question again (and you could lose another heart). When you lost all your hearts (3) you had to start over, with the questions re-randomized.
