    they are the cheapo acer r11 chromebooks, supposedly getting phased out but corona was a thing or something

    that's about 900USD...ofc direct conversion is not going to be accurate for a variety of reasons, but that's insane

     

    for a new r11 at highest it would be like 500USD

     

    specifically the c738t model

     

    now they are worth like 200-300USD

    did you know, for the same price I can get a 8th gen core i7 with over 16 gigs of ram at a local store.

    @Schnoz  but still those prices are ridiculous! If I can get a much better speced machine for the same price then what is the point of going for a crbook?? and if I needed cros for school/buisness I could just use brunch or chromefy script to install the os on my laptop. heck ,I already am dualbooting it on my low spec cheap pc.....also in local stores I can get such chromebooks for below 20000rs which is hardly 300 usd.
