Slightly late to the party, but I just finished watching Madoka Magica and all 3 of its movies. I didn't have a singular favourite anime before, now I do. No other show/film I've watched has managed to make me feel so invested despite being so short. It sounds like I'm putting it on too high a pedestal but I haven't enjoyed a show this much in forever.

I thought the show ended perfectly, and I was skeptical about movie 3 continuing the story, but was surprised at how much I liked it. I have mixed feelings about the ending but overall it was still fantastic.

Oh I'm not talking about someone who genuinely loves the show and wants to sing its praises, I'm talking about when they band together and ruin everything. You have the benefit of the doubt. But being "a Madoka fan" is in itself not a positive thing until you rise above the stigma of the general Madoka fandom. It's actually pretty rare for a fandom to go out of its way as much as the Madoka fandom did back at the height of its popularity, as though obsessed with over-selling the show and treating others like idiots for not agreeing with them. By contrast the "Big 3" type fandoms tend to stay in their insular bubbles and not care as much as what others think.
In other words, feel free to rave about it. We could use more people actually expressing their fondness for anime around here, at least if it's more intelligent and sincere than the usual "animu x is awesum guize" vapid commentary you can find anywhere on the web.

Unfortunately loads of fandoms have that problem. Big, popular shows like Fairy Tail and Attack On Titan suffer from it the most I think, people just massively overhype them.
 
I mean in this case if you "just liked" Madoka and that's it then great, you do you, everyone has different tastes. Personally I absolutely loved it hence I'm here raving about it right now.

Get one of those exfoliating face washes and wash your face every day. Touch your face as little as possible. Put a towel over your pillow (keeps oil from building up at night).

Any time you do something that can add oil to your face, wash it. Wash your hands a lot, too. You touch your face more than you think.

I've had fairly bad acne for around 7-8 years now as well. It sounds deceptively simple but honestly the best remedies are a good diet and plenty of water. If it's still bad after that, like mine was, go to your doctor and they can prescribe you antibiotics for it. I'm currently on a prescribed course of Lymecycline for it myself, been taking it for about 2 months now and I've noticed a big decrease in my acne. It's not completely gone but the improvement is very noticeable.

I did actually enjoy the 1st half or so of Guilty Crown, but the 2nd half was a mess, every episode felt like they were just making it up as they went along.

That aside though, the OST really is phenomenal.

Who else has seen Guilty Crown? I just finished forcing myself through its 2nd half, my God I've never been so glad to finish a show. The OST is the only good thing about it.

I'd love to have an answer for this, but I just don't understand it either. My younger brother is 15 and currently right in the middle of the hormonal-angry-teen stage, and all he plays is FIFA. Before christmas last year he had asked for a PS4, and as soon as I heard him say that I knew exactly what he was going to get for it; FIFA 15 and nothing else. 5 months on and sure enough FIFA 15 is still the only PS4 game in the house. He gets so angry at it too, I came home from university one weekend to visit, and found out that the previous day he had got so furious with the game that he threw the case out of his bedroom window.
I feel bad for my parents who spent all the money on the console, since at the moment it's nothing but a £350 rage-inducing FIFA machine. I plan on picking up a copy of Destiny and possibly Bloodborne this summer because aside from wanting to play them, I also want to vindicate my parents' purchase by properly using the thing they shelled out for.

Now I'm fully caught up with Akame Ga Kill and I finished watching Mirai Nikki yesterday.
